Introduction
This new Philips beauty AirstylistVoyage 300 has
been specially designed to give beautiful styling
results in a quick and easy way.In order to get the
best results,please read the instructions carefully
before use.
Important
◗Before you connect the appliance,check if the
voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to your local mains voltage.
◗Keep this appliance away from water! Do not
use this product near or over water
contained in baths,washbasins,sinks etc.If you
use it in a bathroom,unplug the appliance
after use,since the proximity of water
presents a risk,even when the hairdryer is
switched off.
◗For additional protection we advise you to
install a residual current device (RCD) with a
rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit
supplying the bathroom.Ask your installer for
advice.
◗If the appliance overheats,it will switch off
automatically.Unplug the appliance and let it
cool down for a few minutes.Before you
switch the appliance on again,check the grille
to make sure it is not blocked by fluff,hair,etc.
◗Check the condition of the mains cord
regularly.Do not wind the mains cord around
the appliance.

Before using the appliance
◗Before you start using theAirstylist,comb or
brush the hair so that it is untangled and
smooth.
◗TheAirstylist is most effective when the hair
is slightly damp.When your hair is dry,slightly
dampen your hair.Never use the appliance on
wet hair!
Always insert the mains plug into the wall socket
after having connected the accessories.
Using the appliance
Making curls in short and medium hair
length
We advise you to perform a curl test to
determine how long the brush should be held in

your hair to achieve a good result.Start with 8 to
10 seconds.You may have to hold the brush
longer in your hair for tighter curls.Less tight curls
will require less than 8 seconds.
C1Align the retractable bristle brush with the
styler.Make sure the arrows on the brush
are in line with the arrows on the styler.
A 'click' will be heard.
2Divide the hair into locks.
3Take a lock of hair and wind it round the
brush.Make sure the end of the lock is
wound in the required direction.
- Do not wind too much hair around the barrel
at a time.
- The thinner the lock of hair, the tighter the curl
will be.
- Do not wind a lock of hair more than twice
round the barrel.
- Make sure the lock of hair is in contact with the
barrel.
◗If you wind the hair at right angles to the
scalp,you will give your hair optimum lift and
volume.
C4Switch the appliance on.
5Keep the brush in your hair until the hair
is warm to touch.

C6Switch the appliance off and remove the
brush from your hair by pushing and
turning the bristle retraction knob in the
direction of the arrows.
C7Leave the curls to cool down,before
finishing by combing,brushing or
fingercombing the hair into its final style.
C8Having finished the curling,switch off the
appliance.Then remove the brush by
pressing the release button and pulling the
brush in the direction of the arrow.
Making waves in long hair
1Take the ends of the hair and wind them
around the retractable bristle brush in the
desired direction.
2Switch the appliance on.
3As soon as the hair is warm to touch,
switch the appliance off and carefully
remove the brush from the hair.
C4Leave the waves to cool down,before
finishing by combing,brushing or
fingercombing the hair into its final style.

Setzen Sie stets die benötigten Zusätze auf das
Gerät,bevor Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose
stecken.

Der Gebrauch des Geräts
Kurzes und mittellanges Haar wellen
Wir empfehlen Ihnen,zunächst zu prüfen,wie
lange Sie das Gerät mit dem Aufsatz im Haar
behalten müssen,um das gewünschte Resultat zu
erzielen.Beginnen Sie mit 8 bis 10 Sekunden. Um
festere Locken zu erhalten,können Sie das Gerät
länger im Haar behalten.Wenn Sie das Gerät
kürzere Zeit im Haar behalten,fallen die Locken
weniger fest aus.
C1Setzen Sie die Bürste mit den einziehbaren
Bürstenreihen auf das Gerät.Achten Sie
darauf,dass die Pfeile auf den beidenTeilen
zu einander hin zeigen.Drücken Sie beide
Teile zusammen ("Klick").
2Erfassen Sie jeweils eine Strähne.
3Wickeln Sie die Strähne um die Bürste.
Achten Sie darauf,dass Sie die Strähne in
die Richtung aufwickeln,in die das Haar
fallen soll.
- Wickeln Sie nicht zu viel Haar um das Gerät.
- Je dünner die Haarsträhne,um so fester wird
die Locke.
- Wickeln Sie die Haarsträhne nicht mehr als
zweimal um das Gerät.
- Achten Sie darauf, daß das Haar in guten
Kontakt mit dem Ondulierstab kommt.

erhalten Sie,wenn Sie das Haar senkrecht zur
Kopfhaut aufwickeln.
C4Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
5Behalten Sie die Bürste im Haar,bis sich

C6Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.Drücken und
drehen Sie dieTaste zum Einziehen der
Bürstenreihen in Pfeilrichtung,und nehmen
Sie das Gerät aus dem Haar.

les légèrement.N'utilisez jamais l'appareil sur
cheveux mouillés!
Branchez toujours l'appareil après avoir connecté
les accessoires.
Mode d'emploi
Boucler des cheveux courts et mi-longs
Nous vous conseillons de faire un test sur une
boucle pour déterminer combien de temps vous
devez tenir la brosse dans vos cheveux pour
obtenir de bons résultats.Commencez par 8 à 10

secondes.Il peut être nécessaire de tenir la
brosse dans vos cheveux quelque temps de plus
pour obtenir des boucles plus serrées. Les
boucles moins serrées nécessitent moins de
8 secondes.
C1Tenez la brosse à picots dans le
prolongement du corps de l'appareil,en
vous assurant que les flèches de la brosse
soient bien alignées avec celles de
l'appareil.Vous entendrez un "clic".
2Divisez les cheveux en mèches.
3Prenez une mèche et enroulez-la autour la
brosse.Assurez-vous que l'extrémité de la
mèche est enroulée dans le sens souhaité.
- N'enroulez pas trop de cheveux autour de la
partie métallique.
- Plus la mèche est mince,plus la boucle est
serrée.
- N'enroulez pas une mèche autour de la partie
métallique plus de deux fois.
- Assurez-vous que la mèche est en contact avec
la barre métallique.
◗Vous donnerez ainsi un maximum de volume à
votre coiffure si vous tournez la brosse de
telle façon que les cheveux fassent un angle
droit avec le cuir chevelu.
C4Mettez l'appareil en marche.

5Dès que les cheveux sont chauds,retirez la
brosse.
C6Arrêtez l'appareil et retirez la brosse de
vos cheveux en appuyant sur le bouton de
commande des picots et en tournant dans
le sens de la flèche.
C7Laissez refroidir les boucles avant de
mettre la touche finale à votre coiffure en
brossant ou peignant les cheveux ou en
arrangeant quelques mèches avec les doigts.
C8Après avoir fini de boucler vos cheveux,
arrêtez l'appareil.Retirez la brosse de vos
cheveux en appuyant sur le bouton de
déverrouillage et en tournant dans le sens
de la flèche.
Onduler des cheveux longs
1Prenez une mèche par son extrémité,et
enroulez-la autour de la brosse à picots
rétractables dans le sens souhaité.
2Mettez l'appareil en marche.
3Dès que les cheveux sont chauds,arrêtez
l'appareil et retirez doucement la brosse.
C4Laissez refroidir les vagues avant de mettre
la touche finale à votre coiffure en
brossant ou peignant les cheveux,ou en
arrangeant quelques mèches avec les doigts.
