1 Important
Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance, and save the user manual for
future reference.
Warning
• Do not immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the tap.
• Before you connect the appliance to the power, make sure that the voltage indicated
on the bottom of the appliance corresponds to the local power voltage.
• If the power cord, the plug, or other parts are damaged, do not use the appliance .
• If the power cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service center
authorizedbyPhilips,orsimilarlyqualiedpersonstoavoidahazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not touch the beater, hook or whisk, especially when the appliance is plugged in.
• If the beaters get stuck, switch off the the appliance and unplug it.Then use the spatula
to remove the ingredients that block the beaters.
• Before you connect the kitchen machine to the mains, insert the beater, kneading hook,
or whisk into the kitchen machine.
• Before you switch on the kitchen machine, lower the beaters, kneading hooks, or whisk
into the ingredients.
• Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains if you leave it unattended and
before you assemble, disassemble and clean it.
Caution
• Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that Philips does not
specicallyrecommend.Ifyouusesuchaccessoriesorparts,yourguaranteebecomes
invalid.
• This appliance is intended for household use only.
• Do not exceed the quantities and processing time indicated in the user manual.
• Do not exceed maximum running time of 5 minutes to avoid overheating the
appliance.
• A minimum of 20 minutes rest time must be maintained between two consecutive
cycles.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive cleaning materials, such as scouring
pads.

Warning
•Do not stick knife, metal spoons, fork and so on into bowl when operating.
•Thespeedselectormustbeat“OFF”positionafteruse.
•Unplug the the power cord before pulling out the beater, dough hook or whisk.
Note
•CleanallpartsoftheKitchenMachinethoroughlybeforeusingitforthersttime.
•Make sure unplugged the power cord from the power outlet and turn the speed
selectortothe“OFF”positionbeforeassemblingthemixer.
•Make sure the beater or dough hook or whisk is fully inserted into the socket and
lockedrmly.
1 Put the mains plug into the wall socket.
• Ensurethatthespeedselectorisatthe“OFF”position.
2 Add ingredients to mix.
3 Turn the speed selector to the mixing speed you want.
4 Turn the speed selector to “OFF”positionandunplugthecordfromwallsocketwhen
mixing is completed.
5 Press the tilt button.
6 Scrape the excess food particles from the beaters or dough hooks by plastic spatula.
• Use a spatula to aid the mixing by scraping the ingredients from the bowl’s wall.
