IN BED THORACIC SUPPORT
Thein-bed thoracic support system is recommended for all persons
requiring postural support of the torso while seated in a Fowler position,
with the head ofthe bed elevated up to 90 degrees.
COMPONENTS
Wrap around fabric with velcro: Four horizontal velcro strips are affixed to
the fabric bandto allow easy positioning of thelateral thoracic supports.
Velcro“loop” strips, placed at the ends of thefabric band, secure the support
system to the bed frame with the use of self-adhesive Velcro “hook”strips.
Lateral thoracic supports: Made with a polyurethane based foam to provide
firm support, each thoracic support comes with a zippered cover.
Wrap around fabric and covers are made with a fluid-proof T-Jersey fabric.
Wrap around fabric is 57.5-inches long(146 cm) and 17-inches wide (43 cm).
Horizontal velcro strips are 24-inches long (61.9 cm) and 2-inches wide (5cm).
Note: This system was developed for use with single beds.

INSTALLATION
This system provides an easy 3-step installation and allows quick and accurate
adjustment of the lateral thoracic supports when needed.
1. Secure the wrap around fabric to the bed frame with the velcro fasteners (1).
2. Place the lateral thoracic supports (3) on the horizontal velcro strips (2) in
accordance to patient’s chest size and postural needs.
3. Ensure that the thoracic supports are securely fastened to the Velcro strips.

MAINTENANCE
Wrap around fabric and covers can be cleaned with most laundry cleaning
products and disinfectants.
Cleaning
Use a clean damp cloth with soapy water to remove contaminants.
Disinfection
Use disinfectant wipes or a cloth to apply disinfectant, it isimportant to follow
the procedure written on the disinfectant’s product label.
WARNING
Never submerge in water or clean in washing machine.

WARRANTY
The In Bed Thoracic Support is warranted to be free of defects in material
and workmanship for a period of 12 months, on all optional components
and replacement parts provided by the supplier or other authorized dealer
or establishment, upon the date of delivery or replacement. Physipro inc.
agrees to repair or replace defective parts during the warranty period. In order
to make a warranty claim, contact Physipro inc. or an authorized dealer. Do
not return product without prior consent. In case of dissatisfaction with our
customer service, you can send your comments to the address written at the
end of this manual, please include the name and address of the supplier, the
date of delivery and the products serial number.
Exclusions and limitations
This warranty does not apply to products that have been altered, accidentally
or intentionally, that have sustained damage due to an improper use, neglect,
lack of maintenance or inappropriate storage conditions. This warranty does
not cover damages caused by modifications or repairs that have been made
without written consent by Physipro inc. or an authorized dealer. The same
restrictions apply for damages from other circumstances beyond the control of
Physipro inc. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear of product
or any non-compliance of the recommendations provided in this booklet.
Physipro inc. will not be held liable for damage sustained during
transportation.

Ce système d’appuis-thoraciquesau lit est recommandé pour toute personnes
alitées ayant besoin de support au niveau du tronc lors du relèvement du lit,
jusqu’à 90 degrés.
COMPOSANTES
Quatre bandes horizontales de velcro sont intégrées sur la bande de tissus
pour permettre de positionner les appuis-thoraciques.
Des bandes de velcro « mousse » sont placées aux bouts de la toile pour fixer le
système au châssis du lit, avec l’utilisation de bandes auto collantes de velcro
« pic ».
Appuis-thoraciques: Fabriqué avec une mousse de polyuréthane pour
fournir un soutien ferme, chaque appui vient avec une housse avec fermeture
éclair. La Toile Velcro et les housses des appuis thoraciques sont faits avec du T-
Jersey imperméable.
La Toile Velcro mesure 57.5 po (146 cm) de largeur et 17 po (43 cm) de hauteur.
Les bandes de velcros horizontales mesure 24 po (61.9 cm) de largeur et 2 po
(5 cm) de hauteur.
Note : Ce système a été conçu pour être utiliséavec un lit simple.

INSTALLATION
Ce système est conçu pour une installation facile en trois étapes et permet
d’ajuster les appuis-thoraciques avec précision et rapidité au besoin.
1. Fixerla bande de tissu auto collante sur le châssis du lit avec le velcro
« mousse » et le velcro « pic » (1).
2. Positionner les appuis thoraciques (3) sur les bandes de velcro horizontales
(2) selon le besoin postural du patient.
3. Assurez-vousquelesappuis-thoraciquessontbien fixés surlesbandes de velcro.

ENTRETIEN
La Toile Velcro et les housses des appuis-thoraciques peuvent être nettoyés
avec la plupart des produits nettoyant et désinfectants pour lessive.
Nettoyage
Utiliser un chiffon légèrement imbibé d’eau savonneuse pour enlever tout
contaminant.
Désinfection
Utiliser une lingette désinfectante ou unchiffon avec produit désinfectant, il
est important de bien suivre les directives inscrites sur l’étiquette du produit
désinfectant.
AVERTISSEMENT
Ne jamais submerger dans l’eau ou laver à la machine.

Ce produit est couvert par une garantie sur pièces et main d’œuvre pour
une période de douze (12) mois contre tout défaut de fabrication sur les
composantes optionnelles et les pièces neuves remplacées par le fournisseur
ou par un établissement autorisé, et ce, à compter de la date de livraison ou, le
cas échéant, de la date de remplacement. Les Équipements adaptés Physipro
inc. s’engage à réparer ou remplacer les pièces défectueuses durant toute la
période de garantie. Pour bénéficier du service de garantie, contactez Les
Équipements adaptés Physipro inc. ou un établissement autorisé. Ne retournez
pas ce produit sans consentement préalable. Dans le cas où le service serait
considéré insatisfaisant, vous pouvez faire parvenir vos commentaires à
l’adresse inscrite dans ce document, accompagné du nom et de l’adresse du
fournisseur et de la date de livraison.
Exclusions et limitations
La présente garantie ne s’applique pas aux produits altérés accidentellement
ou intentionnellement, aux produits qui ont fait l’objet d’une utilisation non
appropriée, denégligence, d’unmauvaisentretienoud’unmauvaisentreposage.
De plus, cette garantie ne s’applique pas aux produits endommagés à la suite
d’une réparation ou d’une modification réalisée sans le consentement écrit
de Les Équipements adaptés Physipro inc. ou d’un établissement autorisé.
Les mêmes restrictions s’appliquent lors d’un endommagement découlant
de toute autre circonstance indépendante de la volonté de Les Équipements
adaptés Physipro inc. Enfin, cette garantie ne s’applique pas à l’usure normale
des pièces ou au non-respect des indications mentionnées dans le présent
document.

liée aux dommages pouvant être subis au cours du transport.
