The Simulator

Base Tilt :
The base tilt is operated by the handles located on the tubes, which support the
headrest. The 2 handles Amust be operated to allow tilting the base. Use the
goniometer located on the stabilizer bar to read the tilt angle.

Backrest Inclination :
Use the levers Blocated on the push handles to release the mounting tubes and
allow the backrest’s inclination. Use the goniometer located on the lower mounting
tubes to read the inclination angle.

Brakes :
The brakes V are operated only by the feet in the back of the seat, thus, the seat
users can not stop the seat by themselves. The brakes allow stabilizing the
simulation seat during the measurement readings.

Seat Depth :
The seat depth can be adjusted by the handle Clocated on the right side and under
the frame. Possible depth positions are :
P1—Max : 25 in (64 cm)
P2—Min : 14 in (36 cm)

Anti-Thust Wedge :
Its positioning can be adjusted by a crank handle Dlocated in the back of the seat.
This system allows raising a person’s knees, thus providing a pelvis tilt.
From 0 to 2½ in (6 cm)

Footrest :
- Angle Adjustment: 60º P, 70º Qand 90º Rusing the piston Slocated on the
external side of each footrest.
-The footplates angle and depth are adjustable by using an adjustment knob T
located under the footplates.
-The lateral angle of the footplates is adjustable by using a ¼ socket head key.
Screw or unscrew, as needed, the headless screw U located in the tube under
the footplate.

-Height Adjustment using an adjustment lever Nlocated on the external side of the
footrest.

- Width Adjustment using the adjustment knobs O located under the square bar in
the front side of the seat.

Pelvic Support :
Its lateral adjustment setting is continuous and is operated by the adjustment
knobs Elocated in the lower back of the backseat. Possible measurements are :
L1—Max : 21 in (53 cm) L2—Min : 7 in (18 cm)

Backrest—Height and Width :
An ingenious measurement indicator system allows quickly and efficiently
calculating a person’s shoulders and thorax width.
It also allows establishing the location of the laterals (height and width).

Abduction Pommel :
The pommel is laterally adjustable using an adjustable knob F located in the front
and under the seat.
It also allows an adjustable height using a 4mm socket head key G.
It can also be flipped on itself using finger pressure on the push button Hlocated in
the front of the mechanism.

Armrest :
Adjust the armrest height using the adjustment knobs located on both sides of the
seat. Adjust the width by rotating the tube where the height is adjusted and by
straightening the cushion using the handle under the cushion. This handle allows a
depth adjustment by sliding the cushion on the tube.

Headrest :
The multi-axis headrest is equipped with adjustment knobs allowing a quick and
efficient height adjustment I, tilt adjustment J and depth adjustment K.

Laterals :
The laterals have adjustable setting for height and lateral positions using the slide
slots and can be fixed by the adjustment handles I. Their locations are established
using the indicator system on the backrest.
