The Plustek OpticFilm 7200i is a 7200 dpi film scan-
ner capable of scanning 35 mm slide and negatives.
High optical resolution, USB 2.0 connection and fast
scan speed allow Plustek OpticFilm 7200i to easily
outperform other professional film scanners.
The package comes with SilverFast 6 Ai iSRD. The
SilverFast Ai is an award-winning scan software,
provides the user a superior scanning environment
with production-orinted options. The newly introduced
iSRD (Infrared Smart Removal of Defect) feature
provides productive defect removing solutions, elimi-
nates dust and scratch automatically.
The Plustek OpticFilm 7200i is the perfect scanner for

SilverFast iSRD, hardware solution to eliminate dust and
scratch using infrared channels, brings a new dimension in
defect removal technologies. Two modes, automatic and
manual, are available. In automatic mode, SilverFast iSRD
operates completely on its own, applies corrected result to the
entire scan frame. In manual mode, the user can select certain
area(s) to work on, and leave the rest untouched. With defects
removed, SilverFast iSRD does not soften or blur the scanned
file, provides the user with an enhanced genuine image.

Scanning at 7200 dpi, you have the potential to turn a 135 slide (3.5 x 2.3 cm) into
a printing quality A1 poster (84 x 55.2 cm). OpticFilm 7200i is an excellent solution for
magazines and other printed material.
Compared to digital cameras, this film scanner has more than a 68-Mega-pixel capability,
easily overwhelming popular digital cameras. For home and leisure usage, you can scan
