FCC NOTES
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed

ABOUT THIS MANUAL
This manual assists the user especially the software programmer who provides the software
system for POS application to utilize the hardware of the Jiva (TP-5815 Pro) series which is a member
of the POSIFLEX integrated point-of-sale terminal product family. The Jiva (TP-5815 Pro) is a
compact point-of-sale system that gives the most user friendly application interface by providing a
touch control LCD panel and combines the performance and affordability of personal computers with
the elegance and reliability of business machine. The Jiva (TP-5815 Pro) also provides the built-in
networking capability for easy communication among multiple terminals in addition to the data
transfer and control through back office server.

OVERVIEW
SCOPE
The Jiva (TP-5815 Pro) series is a series of fully integrated PC based Point-Of-
Sale terminals. Theseseries provide the best performance and the most user-friendly
interface for Point-Of-Sale, Hospitality and Kiosk systems with a VIA CPU of C7 1G..
This series also provides an industrial-use touch control panel over the 15” LCD
integrated on the front surface of the system. The Jiva (TP-5815 Pro) series can utilize
a slim base that supports 2nd LCD display or pole mount customer display on rear base,
storage room for 3.5” HDD and optional UPS battery in base or an universal base that
supports 2nd LCD display or pole mount customer display on rear base, 3.5” HDD
housing, power adaptor housing, optional UPS battery storage in base or even wall
mount without base. In short, this series engages modular design for numerous
advanced hi-tech applications in robust integrated construction.
