Toinstall:
1) LOCATINGTHESTUDS:Useastudfindertolocatetheverticalwoodenstudswithinyourwalllocated
behindthefinalpositionofthefurnitureitem.Markthestudlocationswithalightpencil‐mark.
2) MOUNTINGTHEFURNITURE‐SIDEBRACKET:Movethefurnitureitemclosetothewalltoitsfinalposition.
Usepiecesoftapeorapenciltotranscribethestudlocationsofthewallontothefurnitureitem.Movethe
furnitureitemagainsoyoucanaccessitsbackandusethemarkstolocateasuitablemountingpointforthe
furniture‐sidebracket.Makesurethatthebracketissecuredtoafirmportionofthefurnitureframeandashigh
aspossible.Remember:Thefurniture‐sidebracketmustbepositionednearawallstud.Usingapencil,andthe
bracketasaguide,mark“screwmarks”onthefurnitureitemthroughthebracketholes.
Usea3/32”drillbittodrillpilotholesintothefurnitureitematthe“screwmarks”.UsetheTWOShortscrews
tosecurethefurniture‐sidebracket.Thisbracketcanbepositionedeitherverticallyorhorizontalasnecessary
(SeeFigure1).
3) MOUNTINGTHEWALL‐SIDEBRACKET:Positionthewall‐sidebracketalongtheselectedstudmarksothatit
willbeadjacentthefurniture‐sidebracketwhenthefurnitureitemismovedtoitsfinalposition.Thewall‐side
bracketshouldbeaboutONEinchlowerthanthefurniture‐sidebracket(SeeFigure3).UsetheTWOLong
screwstosecurethewall‐sidebrackettothewall.Remembertopositionthewall‐sidebracketverticallysothat
bothscrewswillengagetheselectedwallstud(SeeFigure2).
4) ATTACHINGTHESTRAP:Whenbothbracketsaresecurelyattached,movethefurnituretoitsfinaldesired
positionandthreadthestrapthroughtheopeningsofeachbracketandalsothroughtheratcheting“buckle”.
Tightenthestrapuntilseveral“clicks”areheard.Thefurnitureitemisnowsecurelytetheredtothewall.
Note:Ifyoumustmovethefurnitureitem,youcanreleasethestrapbydepressingtheleverarmlocatedatits
buckleandsimultaneouslywithdrawingthestrapfromthebuckle.Makesuretoreconnectthestraponcethe
furnitureitemisreturnedtoitspreviousposition.
