this, read the following operating instructions attentively. Use the product
only as described and only for the specified areas of application.
Retain these instructions for future reference. In addition, pass these
documents on, together with the product, to any future owner.
Intended use
This torque wrench is intended exclusively for the controlled tightening
of screws and nuts on cars, motorcycles, caravans, etc.. This torque
wrench is not intended for commercial or industrial applications.
This tool is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those
mentioned. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended
use will not be accepted. The user alone bears liability.

Safety instructions
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regard-
ing the handling of the torque wrench. Incorrect usage can lead
to personal injury and property damage. For safe handling of the
torque wrench pay heed to the following safety information:
■ This tool is not intended for use by individuals (including children)
with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or
deficiencies in experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive
from this person instruction in how the torque wrench is to be used.
■ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the torque wrench.
■ Do not use brute force on the torque wrench to tighten a nut/screw.
During tightening apply a steady and consistent pressure.
■ To prevent damage to the tool, stop applying pressure to the torque
wrench when the ”click” sound is heard. Bear in mind that the ”click”
sound is acoustically weaker with lower torque settings!
■ In the event of an overload, or improper handling of the torque
wrench, it must be recalibrated by a specialist firm, which will
incur costs.
■ The supplied accessories are matched to this torque wrench.
When using accessories that were not supplied with it, please
pay heed to the standardised design and to the correct shapes
and sizes. The use of non-standard accessories will void the
warranty itself and all warranty claims.

■ Do not use worn or damaged accessories (sockets or extension
pieces), as these may negatively influence the actuation accuracy.
■ Do not use hinged or ball joints, as these can lead to incorrect
settings of the torque.
■ When you use the tool for the first time, and after a long storage
period, it is important to operate the torque wrench a few times,
for the purpose of uniform lubrication of the mechanism, before
the actual torque is set.
■ Ensure that the torque is set at the lowest level (28 Nm) if you are
not using the torque wrench.
■ Do not turn the setting below the lowest torque marking (less than
28 Nm).
■ This tool is robust and suitable for domestic use, but it is also a
precision tool and should therefore be treated as such.
■ Before each use check the correct setting of the actuation value
and the correct seating of the accessory being used.
■ Store the torque wrench exclusively at room temperatures (15° -
25°C) so as not to falsify the actuation levels.
■ A calibration of the torque wrench should be performed only by
qualifi
ed personnel.

Commissioning and adjustment of the
torque
1. Loosen the locking screw (do not remove it) at the lower end
of the torque wrench by turning it anti-clockwise.
2. The precise setting of the torque value is made by using the ring
scale and the main scale . In the following example, this
process is explained for a torque of 120 Nm.
3. Turn the hand-grip until its upper edge reaches the kinked down-
wards marking of 112 Nm and the ”0” of the ring scale meets
the centre line of the main scale (see Figure A). With this step,
you have made the rough adjustment.
4. Turn the hand-grip further to the right, until the ”8” on the ring
scale meets the centre line of the main scale (see Figure B).
With this you have made the fine adjustment and the torque wrench
is now set to 120 Nm.
5. Turn the locking screw clockwise to lock the set torque value.
6. Use the switching lever to change the direction of rotation
(tighten or loosen) of the ratchet.
7. To attach and detach the extension piece/socket wrenches, press
the release button on the top of the torque wrench.

Cleaning and care
TAKE NOTE
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these
can damage the upper surfaces.
► Clean the torque wrench with a dry cloth.
► Store the torque wrench only in a dry place and in the supplied
storage box.
► Ensure that the torque is set at the lowest level if you are not
using or are storing the torque wrench.
► If it is new, or has been stored a long time, first activate the
torque wrench several times, at a low torque, so that the
internal lubrication of the mechanical parts can be restored.
► In the event of an overload, or improper handling of the
torque wrench, it must be recalibrated by a specialist firm.
Disposal
Do not dispose of the tool in your normal domestic waste. Arrange
for the tool, or parts of it, to be disposed of by a professional disposal
company or by your community disposal facility. Pay heed to the
currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact
your waste disposal centre. Dispose of packaging materials in an
environmentally responsible manner.

Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase.
The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously
examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a war-
ranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our Customer
Service Department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for
your goods be assured.
NOTICE
► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing
defects, but not for transport damage, wearing parts or for dam-
age to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commer-
cial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper
handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our
authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the
warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported
immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the
date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject
to charge.

Srdačno čestitamo!
Vašom kupnjom ste se odlučili za visokovrijedan proizvod. Prije prvog
puštanja u pogon se upoznajte sa proizvodom. U tu svrhu pažljivo
pročitajte slijedeće upute za rukovanje. Proizvod koristite isključivo
na opisani način i u navedenim područjima primjene. Ove upute
dobro sačuvajte. Svu dokumentaciju u slučaju predaje proizvoda
trećim osobama priložite i takođe predajte.
Uporaba u skladu sa namjenom
Ovaj momentni ključ je namijenjen za kontrolirano zatezanje vijaka
i matica na osobnim vozilima, motociklima, kamp-kućama i sl. Ovaj
momentni ključ nije namijenjen za gospodarsku ili industrijsku upo-
rabu. Svaki drugi način uporabe i uporaba koja prelazi navedene
okvire smatra se nenamjenskom. Potraživanja svake vrste na temelju
štete nastale uslijed nenamjenske uporabe su isključena. Rizik nosi
isključivo sam korisnik.

Sigurnosne upute
U ovom poglavlju možete pronaći važne sigurnosne napomene za
rukovanje momentnim ključem. Nestručna uporaba može dovesti
do ozljeda osoba i do nastanka predmetne štete. U svrhu sigurnog
rukovanja momentnim ključem obratite pažnju na slijedeće sigurnosne
napomene:
■ Ovaj alat nije namijenjen za to da bude korišten od strane osoba
(uključujući djecu) sa ograničenim fizičkim, senzoričkim ili duševnim
sposobnostima ili pomanjkanjem iskustva i/ili znanja, osim ako
ove osobe stoje pod nadzorom druge osobe zadužene za njihovu
sigurnost ili od dotične osobe primaju naputke za korištenje
momentnog ključa.
■ Djeca trebaju biti nadzirana, kako bi bilo osigurano da se ne
igraju s momentnim ključem.
■ Ne povlačite momentni ključ u svrhu zatezanja matice/vijka.
Prilikom zatezanja primijenite ravnomjeran pritisak.
■ Ne opterećujte momentni ključ, nakon što se oglasi zvuk klika,
kako biste izbjegli nastanak oštećenja alata. Obratite pažnju na
to, da zvuk klika kod nižih podešenja okretnog momenta postaje
akustično tiši!
■ Kod preopterećenja ili nakon nestručnog rukovanja momentnim
ključem isti mora biti kalibriran od strane stručnog poduzeća uz
naplatu troškova.
■ Priloženi dijelovi opreme su usklađeni sa ovoi momentnim ključem.
Ako koristite dijelove opreme koji nisu sadržani u obimu isporuke,
molimo Vas da obratite pažnju na izvedbu shodno normi i na
ispravne oblike i veličine. Uporaba dijelova opreme koji nisu
shodni normi dovodi do prestanka važenja prava na jamstvo i
na odštetu.

■ Ne koristite istrošene i defektne dijelove opreme (produžetke
ili umetke ključa), jer ovi dijelovi mogu promijeniti preciznost
aktiviranja.
■ Ne koristite šarnirske ili kuglične zglobove, jer oni mogu dovesti
do pogrešnog podešenja okretnog momenta.
■ Kod prve uporabe i nakon dužeg vremena skladištenja obavezno
morate obratiti pažnju na to, da momentni ključ zbog ravno-
mjernog podmazivanja mehanike nekoliko puta aktivirate prije
podešavanja okretnog momenta.
■ Osigurajte, da okretni moment bude podešen na najnižem stupnju
(28 Nm), kada momentni ključ ne koristite.
■ Podešenje ne postavite ispod najniže oznake okretnog momenta
(ispod 28 Nm).
■ Ovaj alat je robustan i prikladan za privatnu uporabu, ali pred-
stavlja i precizan alat i kao takav treba biti tretiran.
■ Prije svake uporabe prekontrolirajte ispravno podešenje vrijednosti
aktiviranja i ispravan položaj korištenog umetka.
■ Momentni ključ čuvajte isključivo na sobnoj temperaturi (15°- 25°C),
kako ne biste promijenili vrijednosti aktiviranja.
■ Kalibriranje momentnog ključa treba izvršiti isključivo stručno
osoblje.

Puštanje u pogon i podešavanje
momentnog ključa
1. Otpustite vijak za zatvaranje (ne odvrnuti) na donjem kraju
momentnog ključa tako, što ćete je okretati u smjeru protivnom
kazaljci sata.
2. Precizno podešenje vrijednosti okretnog momenta se vrši na teme-
lju kružne skale i glavne skale . U slijedećem primjeru ovaj
postupak je objašnjen sa okretnim momentom od 120 Nm.
3. Okrenite ručku, sve dok njegova gornja ivica ne dostigne oznaku
od 112 Nm postavljenu prema dolje, a vrijednost „0“ kružne
skale pritom pogodi središnju liniju glavne skale (vidi sliku A).
Sa tim korakom ste izvršili grubo podešenje.
4. Okrenite ručku dalje u desnu stranu, dok vrijednost „8“ kružne
skale ne pogodi srednju liniju glavne skale (vidi sliku B).
Na taj način ste izvršili fino podešavanje i sada je momentni ključ
podešen na vrijednost od 120 Nm.
5. Okrenite vijak za zatvaranje u smjeru kazaljke sata, kako biste
blokirali podešenu vrijednost okretnog momenta.
6. Koristite polugu za prebacivanje kada želite promijeniti smjer
okretanja (zatezanje ili otpuštanje) jednosmjernog zateznika.
7. Za postavljanje i otpuštanje produžetka/umetaka ključa pritisnite
gumb za otpuštanje na glavi momentnog ključa.
