Donotconnectthisdevicetoanytype ofdimmerpack.
Afterlampswitchedon,theminimumdistance betweenthe projector andilluminatedsurface is10m.
lensandother opticalpartsshall bereplacedimmediatelyif theyhavedeformedorbeendamaged, otherwisethe
lightoutputwillbe compromised.
Beforeoperation,pleaseconfirmthatallcovers(housing)areonandscrewstightened.It’sforbiddentousea
projector while covers(housing)are off .
Keepthe lampcleananddo nottouchit withbarehands.
While operatingit,wear protectiveitems.
Anyelectricalconnectionmustbecarriedoutbya qualifiedperson.
Beforeinstallation, please confirmthevoltagesuppliedmatcheswhatisrequiredfor theprojector.
Eachprojector mustbe properlyearthedandinstalledasperrelatedelectricalstandards.
Donotuse powercord withitsinsulator damagedandconnectthe power cord withother cables.
Iftheprojectorisnotusedor undercleaning,, pleaseholdtheplugandunplugit.Donotunplug itforcefully
or bypullingthe powercable.
All power cordsmustconformtorelatedsafetyandregulations.
While being operated,the projector shouldnotbeunder rainsor inhumidity.
Donotswitchonandofftheprojector constantlyinveryshortintervals,otherwisethelightsource’sandother
electricalparts’lifewillbeshortened.
Therearesafetycord holesatthebottomofthebaseofaprojector.Inviewofsafety,pleaserunthesafety

cord suppliedthroughthe safetycord holesfor safetysupport.
Beforeanyinstallation,maintenanceandcleaningwork,pleaseensuretheprojector isdisconnectedfrom
powermains.
Afterrunningfor 5minutes,thetemperatureofthehousing oftheprojector is 80 .Afterstableoperation,
itstemperatureis 170 .
While the lampisstrickenfor thefirsttime, therewillbesmokeandstrange smell. It’snormalanddoesnot
meanthe projector hassomedefects.
Donotmountthe projector directlyoninflammablesurface.
Donotprojectthe beamstraightlyoncombustibleitemsandtheminimumdistance betweenthe projector
andilluminateditemsis10m.
Aprojector shouldbeinstalledwithgood ventilationandtheminimumdistance betweentheprojector and
wallsis50cm.At thesametime, please ensurethefansandair inletsandoutletsareworkable.
2. INSTRUCTIONS
CLEANINGAND MAINTENANCE
Ifaprojector can’tstart.Pleasecheckifthefuseisblownup.Ifit does,replace it withanewfusewithsameratings.Andthe
projectorhasover-temperatureprotectivedevice.Ifthetemperatureistoo high,theprotectivedevicewill betriggeredtoshutthe
projector off. Whenithappens,pleasecheckifthefansrunnormallyor fanshieldisblockedbydust.Aftertheissueissolved,
restartthe projector.
Theaccumulationofoil,smokeanddustonthelenswill compromisethelightoutput.Cleaningaprojector isverynecessaryto
ensureareliableuseofit.Coolingfansneedtobecleanedevery15days.Internallens,reflector andhotmirror needtobecleaned
periodicallytooptimizelightoutput.
Cleaningfrequencyistobedecidedbyoperationsanditsenvironment.Usesoftclothandnormaldetergentfor glassfor cleaning
work. It’sadvisedexternalopticalsystembe cleanedevery20daysand internalopticalsystemsevery30/60days.Keeplensclean
anddo nottouchopticalpartswithbare hands.
Before anymaintenance andcleaning, pleaseensure the projectisoff the power.
Onlyqualifiedpersonisallowedtodo maintenance.
Duringmaintenance andbeforemaintenance, the projector mustbe off power.
Toavoidinternaldamage, sun lightor otherlightmustn’tpenetrateintotheprojector viafrontlens
whetherit runsor not.
Donotuse alcoholor other organic solventtocleanthehousingtoavoiddamage.
Donotuse anysolventwithchemicalelementstocleancolor filtersor hotmirror.
LUBRICATION
Toensuresmoothmovementofgobosandzoomandfocuslens,it’sadvisedrotators’bearingsand2slidingbarsfor zoomand
focuslensbe lubricatedevery2months.Highqualityandhightemperaturelubricant/grease isadvised..
TROUBLESHOOTING(Detailsvary with differentprojectors)
PROBLEM ACTION
The projector doesn’tswitchon ØCheckthefuse onthe powersocket.

Thelampisonbutthe projector doesn’trespond

toeachclamp.Hang thefixtureonthestructureandfastenthescrewsattachedtoeachclamp.(Seethe WARNING onthe
undersideofthebaseasshownabove) TopasstheSAFETYCORDthroughtheHOLESforsafety! Alwaysensurethatthe
projector isfirmlyanchoredtoavoidvibrationandslippingwhilstfunctioning.Alwaysensure thatthestructurethatyouaregoing
tomounttheprojector toissecure andstrongenoughtosupportthe weightof the projector.
WARNING:
The projector MUSTbeliftedor carriedbythe HANDLESinsteadofclamps.

POWERCONNECTION
Connectthe powercord asfollows:
L(live) =brown
E (earth) =yellow/green
N(neutral) =blue
Beforepowerconnection,pleaseensurethepowersuppliedmustmatchwhatthenameplatesays.Itisrecommendedthateach
projector beconnectedwithpowerseparatelysothattheymaybe individuallyswitchedonandoff.

●Theearthwire(yellow/green)mustbeconnectedto theground.Andelectricalconnectionmustbein
accordance withthestandards concerned.
●If anyquestionsabout theelectricalinstallation,donot continuebut consult a qualifiedelectrician.
DMXCONTROLCONNECTION:
Connectionbetweencontrollerandprojector andbetweenoneprojector andanothermustbemadewithatwin-screenedcable, with
eachwirehavingatleasta0.5mmindiameter.Connectiontoandfromtheprojector isviacannon5pin(whichareincludedwiththe
projector) or 5pinXLRplugsandsockets.TheXLR'sareconnectedasshowninthefigure above.
Note:careshouldbetakentoensurethatnoneofthepinstouchthemetallicbodyoftheplugor eachother.XLRplugsandsockets
mustn’tbeconnectedinanywayotherthanmentionedintheabovefigure. Theprojector acceptsdigitalcontrolsignalsinprotocol
DMX512 (1990).
Connectthecontroller’sDMXoutputtothefirstfixture’sDMXinput,andconnectthefirstfixture’sDMXoutputtothesecond
fixture’sDMXinputandconnecttherestfixturesinthesameway.Eventuallyconnectthelastfixture’sDMXoutputtoaDMX
terminator asshowninthefigure below.

IntheControllermode, atthelastfixtureinthechain,theDMXoutputhastobeconnectedwithaDMXterminator.Thisprevents
electricalnoisefromdisturbingandcorruptingthe DMXcontrolsignals.
TheDMX terminator issimplyanXLRconnector witha120Ω(ohm)resistor connectedacrosspins2and3,whichisthenplugged
intothe outputsocketonthelastprojector inthechain.Theconnectionsare illustratedbelow.

Beforeinstallation/replacement/alignmentofa lamp, disconnectthe unitfromthe powerandletitcoolfirst.
LockTilt inthefigure belowandopenthe lampcover afterits4screwsareloosened.
After removalofthe lampcover, turnthe lampanti-clockwise andtakeit outoftheceramicstand..
Insertanewlamp.Note:whileplacinganewlamp,do nottouchtheburnerofthelampwithbarehands,otherwisethelightoutput
will be compromised.

Important:Theunituseshigh voltagedischargelampwithexternaligniter( ).Whileusingthelamp,pleasecarefullyread

Don’ttouchtheinternalsurfaceofthereflector andtheburnerofthelampwithbarehandssoasnotto
impairthe beamoutput.While lamp’sinstallation, do notdamage themetalwire aroundthe burner.

Lockthetilt andloosenthe6fast-fitscrewsontheuppercover,Afterremovingthecover,youwillsee thestructuresasthefigure
below.
Before replacinga gobo on thefixedgobo wheel,useyourfingertoremove the springtighteningitandtaketheoldoneoutwithdue
care.At lastputthenewintothewheel.
Toreplace agobo ontherotatinggobo wheel: taketherotator fromthewheel,takethegobo outfromtherotator byremovingthe
tighteningspring.Putthenewgobo backtotherotator,thentightenitwiththespring.Pleaseensurethespringisinthenarrow
locationoftherotator,whichisthe internalringofitandflattenit. Atlast,pullupthe springstripusing proper toolandputthe rotator
backtothewheelwiththe assistancebyanotherhand.
Note:Donottouchtheglassgobowithbarehand. Place cleanandsoftpaper or clothbetweenhandand glassgobos.
Tighten6fast-fitscrewsafterthe coverison. Unlockthetilt.

5. SETUPAND CONFIGURATION
FRONTPANELOPERATION
The projector configurationcanbesetconvenientlyvia pushbuttonsandcolor touchscreen.
Tobrowsethroughor changetheprojector ’ssettings,touchthewhiteareaofthetouchscreenor pressOK buttonfor morethan
3s(Onlypoweredbythebattery,pressingtheOKbutton)tounlockthescreen,thenpress ►keytoentertheprojector ’sfunction
menus.Eachmainmenu hasitssub-menus.And eachmenustandsfor specialfunction.For thedetails,pleaseseethefollowing6th
point ”OperationMenu”.:
1. Atthe pagetosetthefixture’sfunctions, press ◄,►,▲,▼keys ortheirrespectiveicons to selectthe functionsdesired.
2. Whileat2nd,3rd and4th levelofmenus,the◄keyisfor ESCAPE, but ►keywon’twork,and OK keyisusedfor ENTER.
Press OK keytosavethechangesor enterintothesubmenus.Press ▲or ▼keystochangethenumbers(minusor plus).

Eachprojector mustbegivenaDMXstartaddresssothatthecorrectprojectorrespondstothecorrectcontrolsignals. ThisDMXstart
addressisthechannelnumberfromwhichtheprojector startsto “listen”tothedigitalcontrolinformationbeingsentoutfromthe
controller.Theprojector has3DMXmodes.Therearestandard mode,shortmodeandextendedmode. For examplestandard mode
has46 channels,sosettheNo.1projector’saddress001,No.2projector’saddress047,No.3projector’saddress093,No.4
projector’saddress 139,andsoon.
SwitchontheProjector .Press OKkeymorethan3secondstounlockpanel,thenpress ►keytoenterintothefixture’soperation
menus.
SelectDMX AddressiconandpressOK keyor touchtheicondirectlyonthedisplayandselectDMX addressatthe2nd levelmenu
for the addresssetting.
Press▲or ▼keysor touch<、>displayedforthe DMXaddressdesired.
Press OKkeyto confirm.
Press the◄keyto go back tothe upperlevelmenu.

DMXWIRELESSCONTROL
The projector haswirelesscontrolfunctionwithwirelessreceiver module andantennafor remote control.
Thesetupofitisbelow:
1.PressOKfor morethan3stounlockthecontrolpanel,thenpress ►keytoenterintothe operation menu and select
“Config Settings”.
2. Select “WirelessFirst”or “WirelessOnly”fromthe menu of “SignalSelect”.
Onlyaftertheprojector islinkedwithatransmitter,canitreceivewirelesssignalsentbythetransmitter.Ifunlinkingit,
Press “Enter”for themenuofUn-linkWirelessundertheupperlevelmenuofConfigSettings,thenthefixtureisunlinked
withthewireless transmitter.
STAND-ALONEMODE
Operatetheprojectorwithoutconnecting withacontroller,enablethemastermodethrough theoperationpanel,the
projectorwill runinStand-Alonemodeautomatically.
DMXaddresscanbesetatany numberwithin512.
MASTER/SLAVEMODE
ManyprojectorscanrunsynchronouslyintheMaster/Slavemodebylinkingthemwitheachother.First,
Connectthefirstfixture’sDMX outputtothesecondfixture’sDMX inputusingXLR-XLRcontrolcableandthenconnectthesecond
fixture’sDMXoutputtothethird fixture’sDMXinput,andsoonuntil allprojectorsareconnectedinthisway. Eventuallyconnectthe
lastfixture’sDMX outputtoa DMXterminator.Set 1st projectorasthemasterandothersareSlaves.
StartAddressesofallSlavesare 001;Operationmode ofthe Master canbesetanymodefor a Master’andSlaves’operation mode can
besetaccordingly.
