Instruction for Use
If using the appliance for the first time:
Ensure that it is not connected to the mains supply and if necessary
remove any packaging, then wipe down the exterior and cooking
plates with a soft, damp,lint free cloth.
NOTE:When heating up for the first time a slight smell may be
emitted.This is normal and will soon pass.Ensure sufficient
ventilation.
The red indicator light will illuminate showing that the Sandwich
Maker is warming up.
After a short while, the green light will come on showing that the
appliance has reached temperature.
To make a sandwich
Spread two slices of bread with butter or margarine.
Place one slice of bread,butter side down on the lower cooking
plate and place the filling on top of the bread.Place the other one
slice of bread butter side up on top of the filling.
Lower the lid,close it and lock it in position using the lid catch.
Once the food has cooked(approximately 3-5 minutes),open the
appliance and remove it using either a wooden spoon or spatula.
