INTRODUCTION
ProTeam Owner's Manual 1
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Use only ProTeam charger 107501 and ProTeam battery pack 107500. A charger that is suitable
for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. Use of
any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
2. DO NOT use charger to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
3. Hazardous Voltage: Risk of electrocution (high voltage), explosion, fire, and burns. DO NOT
open, crush, or electrically short terminals.
4. When charging, make sure that the charger has at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides.
Adequate airflow is required to cool the charger when in use.
5. DO NOT charge batteries outdoors.
6. Connect charging cord to a properly grounded outlet only. See Grounding Instructions.
7. DO NOT leave charger plugged in when not in use.
8. DO NOT operate charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or damaged in any way.
9. DO NOT use charger if it has a damaged cord or plug. DO NOT carry charger by cord.
10. DO NOT pull on charger’s cord to unplug. Grasp and pull the plug, not the cord.
11. DO NOT handle charger, including charger plug and charger terminals, with wet hands while
charger is plugged in or while inserting plug into electrical outlet.
12. DO NOT use or store vacuum or batteries in wet or moist conditions, or near flammable or
combustible materials.
13. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal
to another. Short-circuiting the battery or charger terminals together may cause electric shock,
burns, or a fire.
14. DO NOT use vacuum and battery pack in temperatures above 104°F (40°C) or below 50°F
(10°C). DO NOT charge the battery pack in temperatures above 104°F (40°C) or below 50°F
(10°C). Follow all charging instructions. Charging at temperatures outside of the specified range
may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire. DO NOT store battery pack in ambient
temperatures above 122°F (50°C) or below 50°F (10°C).
15. DO NOT expose battery packs to temperatures above 122°F (50°C). Never leave battery
packs in automobiles on hot days, where temperatures can be much higher than the outside
temperature.
16. DO NOT charge or store battery pack for extended periods (1 month or more) in temperatures
above 90°F (32°C) or below 50°F (10°C).
17. DO NOT use a battery pack or vacuum that is damaged or modified. DO NOT crush, drop,
incinerate, or damage the battery pack. DO NOT incinerate the battery even if it is non-working
or severely damaged. The battery can explode in a fire. Damaged or modified batteries may
exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.
18. DO NOT attempt to repair, service, or modify the battery pack or charger. Contact ProTeam
Customer Service with any issues.
19. Battery pack and charger are non-serviceable and must be replaced if damaged.
20. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid
ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
21. DO NOT incinerate or expose a battery pack to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or
temperature above 265°F may cause explosion. Keep sparks and flames away from the battery
pack.
22. Make sure the power switch is off and the battery pack is removed before clearing jammed
material, making adjustments, changing accessories, storing or servicing the vacuum.
Unexpected actuation of the vacuum while clearing jammed material or servicing may result
in serious personal injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Violation of any of these instructions may void any and all warranties.
Read all safety warnings and instructions in the manuals
and on the battery, charger, and vacuum before using this
vacuum. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may
result in electric shock, fire, property damage and/or serious
injury or death.

CHARGER GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
THE FREEFLEX BATTERY CHARGER MUST BE GROUNDED. If the charger should malfunction
or stop working, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electrical current,
thereby reducing the risk of electrical shock. This unit is equipped with a cord that has
an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted in
an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local
codes and ordinances. Cutting off the ground wire or using a cord that is not equipped
with a ground plug will void the warranty on the unit, and ProTeam will accept NO liability
associated with the unit.
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding
conductor can result in a risk of electrical shock. Check
with a qualified electrician or service person if you are
unsure that the outlet is properly grounded. Do not
modify the plug provided with the charger. If it will not
fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified
electrician.
The FreeFlex battery charger is for use on a nominal 120V, 60Hz circuit, and has a grounded
plug that looks like the plug illustrated in sketch A in Figure AA. Make sure that the charger
is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. A temporary adaptor
that looks like the adaptor illustrated in sketches B and C may be used to connect this plug
to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in sketch B if a properly grounded outlet is not available.
The temporary adaptor should be used only until a properly grounded outlet (sketch A) can
be installed by a qualified electrician. The green colored rigid ear, lug, or the like extending
from the adaptor must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded
outlet box cover. Whenever the adaptor is used, it must be held in place by a metal screw.
Note: In Canada, the use of a temporary adaptor is not permitted by the Canadian Electrical
Code.
This battery charger is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the battery charger by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the battery charger.
