User Guide

1. Introduction
Bluetooth is a short-distance wireless communication technology.
Any devices with a Bluetooth feature, such as mobile phones, PDAs,
PCs, headsets, mouses, keypads, keyboards, printers and other
mobile fittings, can work as wireless devices. Designed to global
standards, Bluetooth technology applies to the internationally
certified ISM bandwidth. The frequency band ranges from 2.4GHz
to 2.48 GHz, and is divided up into 79 channels by way of frequency
hopping through 1,600 different combinations. Data transmission
had an effective range of 10 meters.

5. Charging
• Built-in rechargeable Lithium battery.
•Allow 4 hours when charging the battery for the first time.
• Connect the charger cable to the charger connector. The Red indicator light
will light up during charging. Charging the battery fully may take around 2 hours.
• When the battery is fully charged, the Red indicator light will turn to Green.
• Fully charged, the battery has power for up to 8 hours of talking time,
6-8 hours of music playing time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

6. Pairing the Headset with an External Device
a) Pairing with a mobile phone
• If your phone supports the A2DP Bluetooth profile and has a music player
feature, you can use the phone to make and receive calls, and to play music
with the RevoBlue headset.
• Ensure that your phone or music device is on and the headset is turned off.
• Press and hold the Power/Pair/Talk key for about 5 seconds until the Blue
indicator light flashes quickly.
•Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone or music player, and set it to
search for Bluetooth devices.
• Select the headset RevoBlue from the list of found devices on your phone or
music player.
• Enter the pass code 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your device.
If your device does not have a keypad, it may use this pass code by default.
• When the headset is connected to your device and is ready for use, the Blue
indicator light will start flashing every 2 seconds.
b) Pairing with a Windows System
• Firstly, make sure that the Bluetooth on the PC is compatible with A2DP and
Headset Profile.
• Ensure that your laptop or desktop has a built-in Bluetooth on it is turned on.
• Press and hold the Power/Pair/Talk key of the RevoBlue for about 5 seconds
until the Blue indicator light starts to flash quickly.
• Locate the Bluetooth software on the Windows system and set it to search
for Bluetooth devices.
• Select the headset RevoBlue from the list of found devices.
• Enter the pass code 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your device if it
asked for a passkey.

• When the headset is connected to your device and is ready for use, the
blue indicator light will start flashing every 2 seconds.
•You may need to set the headset as the Bluetooth audio output from
certain software.
c) Pairing with MAC System
• Open the Bluetooth headset and stay in the search state.
• Go to System Preferences and choose Bluetooth.
• In the menu, you could see the “+”. Press the “+” to add the Bluetooth device.
•Then double press the ”RevoBlue” in the menu to pair.
•After paired successfully, then set the Audio as Stereo audio output or
Bluetooth audio output. After this setting, then you may use the Bluetooth
headset successfully.
7. Operation
a) Receiving a call
• Short-press the Power/Pair/Talk key to receive an incoming call.
• Ending a call.
• Short-press the Power/Pair/Talk key to end a call.
b) Making a call
• Dial at your mobile phone and the call will be transferred to your headset
automatically, depending on the phone setup
c) Voice call activation*.
• If your phone supports this feature with the headset, when there is no call
in progress press and hold the multifunction key for about 2 seconds.
Proceed as described in the phone user guide.

d) Redialing the last number
•To redial the number you called last (if your phone supports this feature
with the headset), when there is no call in progress press the Power/Pair/Talk
key twice.
e) Rejecting a call*.
• Press the Power/Pair/Talk key twice to reject a call.
f) Volume control*
• Press either the Volume key during a call or when you are listening to music
to adjust the volume.

8. Listening to Music.
To listen to music, pair and connect the headset to a device that supports
the A2DP Bluetooth profile (see no 6, “Pairing the Headset with an External
Device”). To play music, use the playback controls on the connected device.
If you make or answer a call while listening to music, the music will pause
until you end the call. Press the Volume+ and Volume- to increase or decrease
9. Wired Headphones
When connecting with an audio cable, the RevoBlue can be used as a normal
set of headphones. It can be connected with earphone audio output facilities
such as MP3 and MP4. the volume. Volume could be controlled from the
connected device.

10. Troubleshooting
1) Continuous cracking noise.
• Proximity issues: to obtain perfect sound quality, do not take the RevoBlue
further than 10 meters away from your external device.
2) Unable to hear any sound.
• Ensure that the headphone is charged and has enough power to
perform operation.
• Press the Volume+ button on the headset to increase the volume.
• Ensure the headset is connected to the mobile phone. If the headset is
not connected to the phone via the Bluetooth option, please follow the
pairing process to connect them. For details, refer to “pairing the Headset
with an external device” in this manual.
3) Unable to connect
•The pairing setting between your headset and mobile phone may have
been deleted. Follow the instructions under “Pairing the Headset with an
External Device” in this manual to re-pair them.
4) Pairing with other Bluetooth devices?
•The RevoBlue Bluetooth headset is designed to pair to Bluetooth mobile
phones. In addition, it is compatible with Bluetooth Version 1.1,
Version 1.2 or 2.0, and can support operations upon other Bluetooth devices.

11. Maintaining your headphones
Ensure to turn the power before storing the device. Keep away from
extreme temperature (45°C/113°F or above, or -10°C /14°F below) and
avoid direct sunlight. Failure to do so may shorten the service life of the
battery and harm the overall operation and damage product performance.
If the device comes in contact with water or other liquids , wipe away the
water stains on the device immediately.
12. Protect your hearing
WARNING: The headset is able to provide extreme high volumes and very
sharp tones. Exposure to such a sound may cause permanent hearing
impairment. The volume level may differ due to your phone settings, the
answering and volume settings, and the environmental factors. Before using
this device please read the safety guide below.
Safety guide
Perform the following steps before use:
• Minimize the volume before wearing the headset, then adjust the volume
to a proper level slowly while wearing it.
• During operation, keep the volume as low as possible and adjust the volume
to a proper level slowly after you wear it.
•Avoid using the device in noisy surroundings, as you may overcompensate
by increasing the volume too dramatically. If you increase the volume level
too high without noticing, it may still result in permanent hearing loss.
• If you feel uncomfortable, or hear a drumming noise in your ears seek
immediate medical assistance.
• Continuous exposure to high volumes may result in you adapting to the level,
which could cause permanent hearing loss without you noticing.

Note: It is dangerous and illegal (in some jurisdictions) to use the headset
when you are riding a bike or driving a car, a motorcycle or a boat. Acquaint
yourself with local laws and woring on activities that require attention to be
focused on, be careful. In this case ,take care of the headset or turn it off to
avoid distraction, and thus the occurrence of accidents or hurts.
Keeping the device out of the reach of children:
•The packing products and the plastic bags for the accessories are not toys.
•The bag itself and those small fittings inside can cause suffocation. Do not
attempt to disassemble the device. No parts embedded can be replaced
or repaired by users.
• Only authorized dealers or maintenance centers can disassemble this
product. For issues with any parts including normal wear, break, or
damages, please contact your dealer.
• Keep the product away from rain or other liquids.
• Do not use your headset in areas with flammable gases, as this could
cause fires.
