Installation Instructions for Nova Ceiling Channel Modular NCM-__
1: Lay out all channels, connectors, clips and other required components on the floor as a guide to determine where the
modular system will be located.
2: Make all necessary markings on the ceiling which will consist of the channel ends and locking clips. Clips must be installed
maximum 24" from each other.
Section One: Install Locking Clips
NOTE: If applicable, the channel must pass through the center of the junction box.

NOTE: Steps 2 and 3 are for drywall mounting. Omit these steps
if mounting the clips to a wood surface directly.

2: Tap the anchors onto the marked points up to the threaded
portion with a hammer.
3: Screw in the threaded portion of the anchors with a Phillips
screwdriver.

4: Line up each locking clip to the anchors and secure them by tightening the two #6 screws through the locking clip holes into
the anchors.

Section Two: Connecting Channel Sections
1: To install the connector (power end cap shown), align the
channel with the male connector of the end cap and slide
into place.
2: Ensure power connectors are properly aligned and mated.
3: Refer to the instruction that is provided with the connector
to complete the installation.
DNOTE: One typical modular connection shown. For all other
connections refer to the design.
4: Install the lens and optional louver to complete the channel
assembly.

5: Carefully place the channel over the locking clips. Make sure not to nick wires.
6: Press the side of each locking clip to lock the fixture in place.
