Power Supply
All equipment and components must be installed and serviced by an experienced and trained technician.
The interlocked parking break signal 12v is a requirement for the system to funcon.
1. 12v Parking Break Interlock signal (Pink).
2. 12v/10amp minimum power supply (Red).
3. Negave ground connecon to vehicle (Black).

General Sequence
1. Passenger enters securement area. 2. Operator presses wall buon to release all in-
oor securements (buon will remain red while
in release mode).
3. Aer the buon is pressed the operator will have
2min to aach front belts, rear belts, and the
occupant belt.
4. Aer the 2min pass the buon will turn green
indicang the retractors are latched.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Securing The Wheelchair
1. Posion user in securement zone, making sure the wheels do not obstruct any of the hooks or slots in the
plaorm. You can use the preset or stored posion for the occupant belt before you posion the wheelchair.
2. Aach the hooks to solid wheelchair frame (No spokes, wheels or movable components) at an approximate
45 degree angle with oor within the securement zone.

Securing The Passenger
1. Aach female pin connector to In-oor male pin connector .
2. Grab the oang buckle and pass it in front of the passenger’s shoulder unl it reaches the far-side hip and
connect it to the occupant belt.
Shoulder and Lap Belt must go across occupant’s shoulder and hip, and not be held away from the
occupant’s body by wheelchair components. We recommend using both a pelvic and shoulder belt together
and not individually since it will compromise the performance of the system. Make sure Shoulder Belt does
not rub against the occupant’s neck

1. The following items should be inspected and serviced by an experienced and trained technician during the scheduled
maintenance of the Q’STRAINT ONE System.
❏ Clean all debris from oor anchorages.
❏ Clean all Q’STRAINT ONE system retractors.
❏ Verify that all manual release systems are funconing properly.
❏ Verify that all Q’straint one system retractors are working properly.
❏ Verify that occupant securement system (shoulder and lap belts) are working properly.
❏ Verify that all seatbelt systems are not worn or frayed. Replace as needed.
❏ Verify that occupant securement system is not damaged or corroded. Replace if needed.
❏ Verify that oor anchorages are not damaged or corroded. Replace if needed.
❏ Verify that all mounng bolts are ght.
❏ Inspect all webbing for fraying. Replace any that have frayed.
❏ Inspect enre system to make sure everything is working properly and replace anything that is needed.
2. Any deciencies shall be noted below and reced before the Q’STRAINT ONE is released to the consumer for use.
3. If the repairing technician has any issues not covered by this document or is not clear on what correcve acon
needs to be taken, they MUST consult the nearest Q’STRAINT® oce listed on the back page of this manual.
