1 Allgemeine Informationen
1.1 Auspacken des Gerätes
Untersuchen Sie den äußeren Karton, der das Instrument umgibt. Achten Sie auf Beschädigungen wie z.B.
eingedrückte Wände, chemische Beeinträchtigungen des Kartons, Wassermarken oder andere
physikalische Einflüsse, die den Inhalt beschädigt haben könnten. Bei Beschädigungen informieren Sie bitte
sofort den Spediteur und fragen Sie nach den notwendigen Maßnahmen. Bitte überprüfen Sie den
Verpackungsinhalt auf Schäden oder Abweichungen von der Packliste:

Achtung:
Der Hauptschalter der Steuerbox trennt das Gerät nicht vollständig von der Stromquelle. Es
wird nur eine Phase getrennt. Um das Gerät vollständig vom Netz/der Stromversorgung zu
trennen, ziehen Sie bitte den Netzstecker.
Hinweis:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Sicherheitshinweise des Gerätes bzw. auf dem Gerät selbst,
während des Betriebs deutlich zu sehen sind.

Orbital Shaker
2.1 Beschreibung
Der RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker ist ein Schüttelgerät mit einer orbitalen Schüttelbewegung. Über den auf
der Vorderseite sitzenden Netzschalter wird das Gerät ein- und ausgeschaltet. Die Drehzahl ist werksseitig
auf 300 U/min eingestellt. Die Drehzahl kann durch den Anwender nicht verändert werden.
2.2 Zweckbestimmung des RIDA qLine
®

Der RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker dient dem Schütteln von RIDA qLine
®
Allergy Membranen während den
Inkubationen. Das Aufbringen von Medien direkt auf der Schüttelplattform ist grundsätzlich verboten.
Achtung:
Verwenden Sie keine entflammbaren Medien zusammen mit dem Gerät oder in unmittelbarer
Umgebung.
Achtung:
Es ist die Aufgabe des Benutzers festzustellen, ob das Gerät für seinen Anwendungsfall
geeignet ist. Sollten irgendwelche Zweifel aufkommen, so klären Sie diese mit Ihrem Händler
oder direkt mit dem Hersteller ab.
Achtung:
Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät immer nur so, dass weder der Anwender noch irgendeine andere
Person in Gefahr kommen kann.
2.3 Abmessungen und Installation des RIDA qLine
®

Achtung:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät auf all seinen 4 Füßen steht. Das Gerät muss auf einer
horizontalen Fläche aufgestellt werden.
Achtung:
Achten Sie während der Installation des Gerätes auf ausreichende Sicherheitsabstände des
Gerätes zur unmittelbaren Umgebung. Die Schütteleinheit sollte einen Sicherheitsabstand von
mindestens 2 cm zu seiner Umgebung nicht unterschreiten. Die genannten Sicherheits-
abstände beziehen sich lediglich auf die Funktionstüchtigkeit des Gerätes und nicht auf
Gefahren hinsichtlich des Brandschutzes. Verwenden Sie keine entflammbaren Medien in
unmittelbarer Umgebung des Gerätes.
2.3.1 Anforderungen an die Lüftung während des Betriebs
Sorgen Sie für eine ausreichende und stetige Belüftung des RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker während des
Betriebs. Die Umgebungstemperatur des Schüttlers darf 40°C nicht überschreiten. Sie als Anwender haben
Sorge zu tragen, dass eine Überhitzung des Gerätes durch eine ausreichende Belüftung vermieden wird.
Die Realisierung der Belüftung muss der Anwender vornehmen. Ob sich diese Belüftung schädlich auf die
Methode/ Anwendung auswirkt, liegt im Ermessen des Anwenders.
Bei Missachtung der Hinweise ist kein sicherer Betrieb des Gerätes gewährleistet und es besteht die
Möglichkeit der Gefährdung von Mensch und Material!
2.4 Bedienung RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät ausschließlich unter den Umgebungsbedingungen betrieben wird, welche
im Abschnitt “Technische Daten” beschrieben sind. Bitte lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung bevor Sie das
Gerät in Betrieb nehmen. Bitte beachten Sie alle Hinweise, welche in der Bedienungsanleitung genannt
werden.
Sobald das Gerät mit der geeigneten Stromquelle verbunden ist und über den Netzschalter auf der
Vorderseite eingeschaltet wird, führt die Schütteleinheit ihre orbitale Schüttelbewegung aus. Sobald der
Netzschalter ausgeschaltet wird, kommt die Schüttelplattform wieder zum stehen.
Achtung:
Der Hauptschalter der Steuereinheit trennt das Gerät beim Ausschalten nicht vollständig von
der Stromversorgung. Der Hauptschalter trennt lediglich eine Phase. Um das Gerät vollständig
zu trennen, den Stecker der Stromversorgung entfernen.

3 Wartung und Service
3.1 Service und Reparatur
Sollten Sie weitere Fragen zur Installation, zum Betrieb oder zur Wartung haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an
R-Biopharm AG oder den Distibuteur.
Führen Sie keine elektronischen oder mechanischen Reparaturen am Gerät durch. Innerhalb des Gerätes
gibt es keine Teile, die durch den Anwender gewartet oder repariert werden können. Reparaturen durch den
Anwender können Beschädigungen in der Elektronik zur Folge haben. Ein Garantieverlust kann ebenfalls
die Folge sein.
Achtung:
Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht! Reparaturen sind eingewiesenen Service-Technikern vorbehalten.
Achtung:
Im Reparaturfall: Schicken Sie das Gerät an den Hersteller oder den Lieferanten Stellen Sie
zuvor sicher, dass das Gerät ausreichend gereinigt / dekontaminiert wurde.
3.2 Reinigung und Dekontamination des Gerätes
Außenflächen und Bedienelemente des Gerätes mit milder Seifenlösung (Wasser und handelsübliches
Spülmittel) und weichem fusselfreiem Tuch feucht abwischen. Verwenden Sie kein nasses Tuch und
Putzmittel nur in geringen Mengen. Die Oberflächen dürfen keinesfalls mit Säuren, chlorhaltigen Lösemitteln
oder Kochsalzlösungen gereinigt werden.
Bitte nicht scheuern oder kratzen, Schäden an Aufschriften und Oberflächen sind sonst nicht zu vermeiden.
Sollten Sie andere, als die genannten Reinigungsmittel verwenden, stellen Sie zuvor sicher, dass die
vorgesehene Methode keine Schäden hervorruft.
4 Deinstallation und Entsorgung des RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker
Aufgrund der Geräteeigenschaften und des möglichen Einsatzgebietes, bedarf es einer sachgemäßen
Handhabung. Bitte beachten Sie folgende Hinweise zum Umgang mit dem Gerät:
4.1 Deinstallation des Gerätes
Beim Deinstallieren/Abbau des Gerätes und seiner Komponenten sind folgende Schritte unbedingt zu
befolgen:
1. Schalten Sie zuerst den RIDA qLine® Orbital Shaker über den Netzschalter aus.
2. Trennen Sie das Netzkabel von der Stromversorgung.
3. Nun können Sie den Schüttler und seine Komponenten aus dem Arbeitsbereich nehmen.
4.2 Entsorgung des Gerätes
Schadhafte und/oder defekte elektrische oder elektronische Geräte müssen an den dafür
vorgesehenen Recycling-Stellen abgegeben werden. Auch das Verpackungsmaterial sollte
umweltgerecht (Materialtrennung) entsorgt werden.

5 Verpackung und Lagerung des Gerätes
5.1 Verpacken des Gerätes
Achtung:
Stellen Sie vor dem Verpacken sicher, dass das Gerät ausreichend gereinigt/dekontaminiert
wurde. Anwender die anschließend das Gerät wieder auspacken und in Betrieb nehmen
wollen, dürfen nicht unwissend über mögliche Gefährdungen bleiben. Der Anwender trägt die
Verantwortung für direkte und indirekte Schäden an Mensch und Material, die durch die von
Ihm eingesetzten Medien resultieren können, solange er nicht für die ausreichende
Kennzeichnung der möglichen Gefährdung sorgt.
Verwenden Sie zum Verpacken des Gerätes, wenn möglich, die Original-Verpackung. Sollten Sie die
Original-Verpackung nicht verwenden, kennzeichnen Sie das Paket von Außen mit folgenden Hinweisen:
- Glassymbol (Vorsicht, zerbrechlich)
- Regenschirm (Vor Nässe schützen)
- Verpackungsinhalt (Angabe über den Inhalt)
5.2 Lagerung des Gerätes
Für eine sachgemäße Lagerung des Schüttlers, beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Hinweise.
1. Verpacken Sie den Schüttler in einen Plastik-Sack
2. Stellen Sie folgende Umgebungsbedingungen sicher:
Max. Umgebungstemperatur: 5-40°C
Max. Luftfeuchtigkeit: 80%
6 Garantie und Haftungsausschluss
Der Hersteller verpflichtet sich dem Käufer gegenüber dieses Produkt entweder durch Reparatur oder nach
Wahl des Herstellers durch Austausch jeden Fehler in Material oder Verarbeitung zu beheben, der sich
innerhalb von 24 Monaten nach Auslieferung dieses Produktes herausstellt. Für den Fall des Austausches
wird die Garantie weiterhin bis zum Ende der 24 monatigen Laufzeit ab Kaufdatum laufen.
Für jeglichen Kundendienst ist der Händler einzuschalten.
Diese Garantie wird nicht gewährt, wenn der Defekt oder die Fehlfunktion verursacht wird durch Unfall,
Nachlässigkeit, unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, unsachgemäßen Service und andere Gründe, die nicht auf
fehlerhafte Materialien oder Verarbeitung zurückzuführen sind.
Sämtliche Garantie- und Gewährleistungsansprüche sind beschränkt auf die fachgerechte und
sachgemäße Anwendung des Gerätes unter Beachtung der allgemeinen Sicherheitsvorschriften und dieser
Bedienungsanleitung. Der Hersteller ist zu keinerlei anderen Leistungen als den in dieser Garantieerklärung
enthaltenen verpflichtet. Insbesondere sind Personen- und Sachschäden, die als Folge von fehlerhaften
Teilen oder sonstigen Funktionsfehlern auftreten, von der Haftung ausgeschlossen.
Die Verpflichtung des Herstellers ist im Umfang begrenzt auf die Reparatur oder den Austausch von
fehlerhaften Teilen. Der Hersteller ist unter keinen Umständen zu Schadensersatz verpflichtet für
Folgeschäden jeder Art, die aus der Verwendung und dem Besitz dieses Produktes sich ergeben können.

Achtung:

Sicherheitssystem Erkennt und schützt das Gerät bei Überhitzung des Motors und
der elektronischen Komponenten.

1 General Information
1.1 Unpacking the device
Check the outside box around the instrument. If there is any damage such as pushed-in sides, chemical
damage to the box, water marks or other physical effects that may have damaged the contents, then inform
the forwarding agent and ask about the necessary measures to be taken. If there is no visible damage on
the outside of the box then open it carefully. Please check the contents for damage or deviation from the
packing list:

2.1 Description
The RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker is a shaking device with an orbital shaking movement. The device will be
powered on and off by switching the power-button located at the front side of the housing. The shaking
frequency is 300 rpm and cannot be changed by the user.




Allergy membranes. The placing of
media directly on the platform is strictly forbidden.

2.3 Dimensions and installation of the RIDA qLine
®

The installation dimensions such as length x width and height are shown in the following figure:
Caution:
It is essential to install the shaker module on a suitable base plate or holder, which is secured
against slipping. Don’t start the device as long as it is not adequately positioned.
Caution:
During installation, make sure that the device is at a safe distance from its direct surroundings.
The shaker unit should be at a safe distance of at least 2 cm from its surroundings. The
mentioned safety distances only refer to the functionality of the device and not to any dangers
in relation to fire protection. Don’t use any flammable media right beside the device.
2.3.1 Ventilation requirements during operation
Ensure adequate and continuous ventilation of the RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker during operation. The
ambient temperature of the shaker may not exceed 40 °C. You have to take care that the device does not
overheat by providing adequate ventilation.
The user has to provide the ventilation. Whether the ventilation has an effect on the accuracy of the
temperature and temperature stability of the shaker unit, and whether these have a negative effect on the
method/ application has to be judged by the user.
Failure to follow the instructions means that the safe operation of the device cannot be guaranteed and that
there may be a danger to people and material!

2.4 Operation of the RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker
Make sure that the device is only used in the ambient conditions as described in the “Technical Data”
section. Please read the operating instructions before starting the device. Please follow all instructions
mentioned in the operating instructions.
As soon as the device is connected to an adequate power source, it can be powered on. By switching on the
power-button at the front side of the device, it starts shaking the platform. By switching off the device with
the power-button, the shaking platform will stop moving at once.
Caution:
The main switch of the control unit does not fully disconnect the device from the power source
when switched off. The main switch only disconnects one phase. Please pull out the plug to
disconnect the device completely from the mains.

3 Maintenance and Service
3.1 Service und Repair

Don’t carry out any electronic or mechanical repairs on the device. There are no parts inside the device that
can be maintained or repaired by the user. Repairs by the user may damage the electronics. The warranty
may also be void as a result.

Do not open the device! Repairs are only to be carried out by trained service technicians.

In case of repair: Send the device back to the manufacturer or the supplier. Please make sure
that the device has been adequately cleaned / decontaminated beforehand.

3.2 Cleaning and decontamination of the device
Wipe external surfaces and controls of the device with a mild soap solution (water and household detergent)
and a lint-free cloth. Just use a small amount of cleaning agent and not wet cloths. Under no circumstances
should the surfaces be cleaned with acids, chlorine containing solvents or saline solutions.
Please don’t scour or scratch, otherwise damage to the lettering and surfaces cannot be avoided. Should
you wish to use cleaners other than those mentioned make sure beforehand that the foreseen method will
not cause any damage.
4 Uninstalling and disposal of the RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker
Correct handling is required due to the device characteristics and the possible area of application. Please
observe the following instructions when using the device:
4.1 De-installation of the device
When uninstalling / disassembling the device and its components it is essential to take the following steps:
1. First switch off the RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker with the mains switch.
2. Disconnect the device from the mains
5. Now you can remove the shaker and its components from the work area.
4.2 Disposal of the device
Damaged or scrapped electric or electronic devices have to be handed in at recycling centres.
The packing material too should be disposed of properly (material separation).
5 Packing and storage of the device
5.1 Packing the device
Caution:
Before packing make sure that the device has been adequately cleaned / decontaminated.
User who unpack the device afterwards and want to start it up should be aware of potential
dangers. The user is responsible for direct or indirect damage both corporal and material, that
may result from the media used as long as they don’t provide adequate signs about the
potential dangers.
When possible use the original material for packing the device. Protect each module against shocks from
outside with bubble wrap. If you pack individual modules in a box ensure adequate spacing between them
and fill the spaces with insulation material. If you don’t use the original packing then mark the pack on the
outside as follows:
-Glass sign (Caution, fragile)
-Umbrella (keep dry)
-Pack content (details about the content)

5.2 Storing the device
Observe the following notes for correct storage of the Shaker.
1. Pack the module in a plastic bag.
3. Ensure the following ambient conditions:

6 Warranty and Exclusion of Liability
The manufacturer commits to repair or replace this product, at his discretion, in case of defects arising from
material or workmanship that appear within 24 months of delivery of said product. In case of replacement
the warranty continues until the 24 months have elapsed from the date of purchase.
The dealer is to be involved for all customer service matters.
This warranty is not valid in case of defects or malfunctions caused by accidents, negligence, incorrect use,
wrong servicing and other grounds that cannot be traced back to faulty materials or workmanship.
All warranty and guarantee rights are limited to correct and proper use of the device while following the
general safety regulations and these operating instructions. The manufacturer is not obliged to provide other
performances apart from those contained in this warranty declaration. In particular corporal or material
damages resulting from defective parts or other functional errors are excluded from liability.
The manufacturer’s obligation is limited in scope to the repair or replacement of faulty parts. Under no
circumstances is the manufacturer obliged to pay for all types of damages resulting from the use and
ownership of this product.

2.1 Description
L’appareil RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker est un agitateur avec des mouvements vibration orbitaux. La vitesse

Attention :
Installer le module d’agitateur sur une plaque de base horizontale. Ne mettez pas l’appareil en
marche tant qu’il n’a pas été correctement fixé !
Attention :
Pendant l’installation de l’appareil, veillez à laisser suffisamment d’espace de sécurité entre
l’appareil et son environnement immédiat. L’espace de sécurité entre l’unité d’agitation et son
environnement ne doit pas être inférieur à 2 cm. Les distances de sécurité mentionnées se
réfèrent uniquement à l’aptitude au fonctionnement de l’appareil et non à des dangers liés à la
protection contre les incendies. N’utilisez pas de produits inflammables à proximité directe de
l’appareil.
2.3.1 Exigences envers la ventilation pendant le fonctionnement
Veillez à une ventilation suffisante et constante du mixer S300 pendant son fonctionnement. La température
ambiante de l’agitateur ne doit pas dépasser 40 °C. En tant qu’utilisateur, il vous incombe de veiller à ce que
toute surchauffe de l’appareil soit évitée grâce à une ventilation suffisante.
La réalisation de la ventilation est du ressort de l’utilisateur. L’utilisateur devra évaluer par lui-même si la
ventilation a des effets sur la précision de la température et sur la stabilité de la température de l’unité
d’agitation, et si ces effets sont néfastes pour la méthode / l’application.
En cas de non-respect de ces consignes, le bon fonctionnement de l’appareil n’est pas garanti et cela fait
courir un risque au personnel et au matériel !
2.4 Maniement de l’unité RIDA qLine
®

Assurez-vous que l’appareil est exclusivement exploité dans les conditions ambiantes qui sont décrites
dans la section « Caractéristiques techniques ». Veuillez lire ces instructions d’utilisation avant de mettre
l’appareil en service. Veuillez tenir compte de toutes les consignes qui sont mentionnées dans les
instructions d’utilisation.
Attention :
L’interrupteur principal de l’unité de commande ne sépare pas complètement l’appareil de
l’alimentation électrique lorsqu’il est amené sur la position d’arrêt. Cet interrupteur coupe une
seule phase. Pour sectionner entièrement l’appareil, retirer la prise de l’alimentation électrique.
