Intended Use
The VWR Bead Mill is intended for milling and homogenising of a
number of substances. Not intended for medical or diagnostics purposes.
Made in USA
Warranty
VWR warrants that this product will be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of two (2) years from date of delivery. If a defect is
present, VWR will, at its option and cost, repair, replace, or refund the purchase
price of this product to the customer, provided it is returned during the warranty
period. This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident,
abuse, misuse, or misapplication, or from ordinary wear and tear. If the required
maintenance and inspection services are not performed according to the manuals
and any local regulations, such warranty turns invalid, except to the extent, the
defect of the product is not due to such non-performance.
Items being returned must be insured by the customer against possible damage or
loss. This warranty shall be limited to the aforementioned remedies. IT IS EXPRESSLY
AGREED THAT THIS WARRANTY WILL BE IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES OF FITNESS
AND IN LIEU OF THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY.
Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations
The customer is responsible for applying for and obtaining the necessary regulatory
approvals or other authorisations necessary to run or use the Product in its local
environment. VWR will not be held liable for any related omission or for not
obtaining the required approval or authorisation, unless any refusal is due to a defect
of the product.

Equipment Disposal
This equipment is marked with the crossed out wheeled
bin symbol to indicate that this equipment must not
be disposed of with unsorted waste. Instead it is your
responsibility to correctly dispose of your equipment
at life cycle end by handing it over to an authorized
facility for separate collection and recycling. It's also your
responsibility to decontaminate the equipment in case of
biological, chemical and/or radiological contamination,

- Remove Warning stickers from the back of the unit and check that the voltage
matches the voltage delivered by your electric power supply.
CAUTION: DO NOT connect the unit to the main power supply until correct voltage is selected.
- Plug the unit into power supply using the supplied power cord.
CAUTION: If the voltage supplied to the unit is higher than what is indicated on the
back of the unit, the electronics will be irreversibly damaged, voiding the warranty.

General Operation
Language Setting
Turn unit OFF. Press and hold while powering on unit.
 to select.
Choose from French, English, German, Italian, or Spanish.
Programming Mode
- When the settings are entered, press up or down to return to the program option.
- Press “Run” to start.
- At the end of the program “DONE” will be displayed followed by “REMOVE SAMPLES”.
- If run is stopped system status will read “PROGRAM PAUSED”.
- Pause or Stop a run anytime by pressing the “STOP” button.
- Press “STOP” again to cancel current run.

Troubleshooting
Error Cause Possible Solution
Unclosed Lid
The lid is not latched
properly
1. Check that nothing prevents the lid from
closing.
2. Press lid and ensure the handle is locked
properly.
Detection system is faulty 1. Turn off the unit.
2. Contact technical assistance.
Fan not working
No Power
1. Check main voltage
2. Check that the voltage of the unit matches
that being delivered by the main power
supply.
3. Make sure that the unit is plugged in
properly.
4. Check and replace fuses if blown.
Faulty Fan 1. Turn off the unit.

Display screen shows
incomplete or

1. Turn off the unit.
