Replacing Damaged Propellers

2. Place the Spinner Missile X on the launch pad. Press the launch button and the rocket will
4 seconds before the parachute opens. For the rocket to reach
NOTE: There is a 3 second delay from the time that the launch button is pressed and the Spinner
Missile X begins its launch. This allows time to walk a safe distance away from the missile.
Loading the Parachute
1. Check for any entanglement of the parachute chords, untangle if necessary.
2. Fold the bottom of the parachute over so it touches the base of the nose cone.
3. Push the release piston down, then carefully insert the parachute chords and folded
parachute into the compartment.
4. Push the nose cone down onto the compartment. Check that none of the parachute fabric
is stuck between the nose cone and the parachute compartment.
The Spinner Missile X features a parachute to reduce the impact during landings. Loading the
parachute correctly will reduce the possibility of a malfunctioning parachute.
To replace a damaged propeller, remove the screw holding it in place and slide the propeller
screw. If you are not able to remove the old propeller by hand, use pliers to assist.

NOTE:
Missile X look for a location that
is free of trees or other obstructions
that the missile might get caught
landing spots like grass whenever
possible.
Before launching, observe the wind
direction. The Spinner Missile X will
drift downwind during its descent.
Check that there are no obstructions
in the downwind direction.
If any repairs to the foam are necessary,
use a sutiable foam-safe CA adhesive (Super Glue).

Warranty Period: Rage warrants that the Spinner Missile XL (”product”) will be free from
origInal factory defects in materials and workmanship upon purchase (”Warranty Period”).
What is Not Covered - This warranty is not transferable and does not cover (a) cosmetic
damage, (b) damage due to act of God, assident, misuse, abuse, neglegence, commercial
use, or due to improper use, installation, operation or maintenance, (c) modication to any
part of the Product, (d) attempted service by enyone other than a Rage authorized service
center, or (e) Product not purchased from an authorized Rage dealer.
OTHER THAN THE EXPRESS WARRANTY ABOVE, RAGE MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OR
REPRESENTATION, AND THEREFORE DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGMENT,
MERCHANTABILITIES AND SUITABILITY FOR A PERTICULAR PURPOSE. THE PURCHASER
ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY ALONE HAVE DETERMINED THAT THE PRODUCT WILL MEET
THE REQUIREMENTS OF THEIR INTENDED USE.
Purchaser’s Remedy - Rage’s sole obligation and purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy
shall be that Rage will, at it’s option, either (a) service, or (b) replace, any Product
determined by Rage to be defective. Rage reseves the right to inspect any and all Product(s)
involved in a warranty claim. Service or replacement decisions are at the sole discretion of
Rage. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
SERVICE OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE PURCHASERS
SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.

modication or misuse, no liability shall be assumed nor accepted for any resulting damage
or injury. By the act of use, setup or assembly, the user accepts all resulting liability. If you ,
as the purchaser or user, are not prepared to accept the liability associated with the use of
the Product, purchaser is advised to return the Product immediately in new and unused
condition to the place of purchase.

Charging Instructions:
1. Connect the included USB charge cord to the port located on the back side of the rocket
and the USB connector to a power source, such as a laptop.

2. The main indicator light on the front of the rocket will be red during charging and will turn
off when the charge is complete.

1. Connect the included USB charger to the charge port on the Spinner Missile X and a USB power
source, such as a laptop. The indicator light on the USB charger will be red during charging and
turn o when the battery is fully charged. Charge time is about 30 minutes.
2. Disconnect the USB charger when the battery is fully charged. Do not attempt to over charge!

IMPORTANT: Before launching, observe the wind direction. The Spinner Missile XL will drift
according to wind direction during its descent, so make sure you nd a location that is free of
trees or other obstructions that the rocket may get caught up in as it lands. For best results,
make sure you have a clear space of at least 50 yards on all sides and avoid launching in winds
that are more than 5 to 10mph.
To avoid damage to the rocket, choose soft landing spots like grass whenever possible.
If any repairs to the foam are necessary, use a suitable foam-safe CA adhesive, like
Super Glue.

Operating Instructions
1. Place the base of the rocket on the shaft at the center of the launch pad so that it is
standing upright.
2. Press the Function Button to turn the unit on. The red LED will be lit when the unit is on.
3. Short press the Function Button again for ight time selection: One press for 7 seconds,
two for 9 seconds and three presses for 12 seconds.
4. After the ight time is selected the propeller will begin to slowly spin and the yellow LED will
turn on. This will give you time to safely move away from the rocket before it launches.
5. After about 5 seconds, the LEDs will switch from yellow to green and the prop begins to
accelerate for launch. During ight, all of the LEDs on the unit will be on.
6. When the motor stops at apogee, the parachute will release and the rocket will slowly
descend to the ground. Only the red LED will remain on as a power indicator.
7. To launch again return to Step 1 of the instruction.
8. When you have nished with your ights, press and hold the Function Button until the red
power indicator LED turns off.
Replacing Damaged Propellers
To replace a damaged propeller, remove the screw holding it in place and slide the propeller
away from the rocket and off the shaft. Slide the new propeller into position and reinstall the
screw. If you are not able to remove the old propeller by hand, use pliers, as needed.

propeller regularly for nicks and breaks and make
sure it is securely attached before and after each ight.

parachute correctly will reduce the possibility of the parachute not deploying correctly.
1. Check for any entanglement of the parachute chords and untangle, if necessary.
2. Fold the bottom of the parachute over so it touches the base of the nose cone.
3. Push the release piston down, then carefuly insert the parachute chords and folded
parachute into the compartment.
4. Push the nose cone down onto the compartment. Check that none of the parachute fabric
is stuck between the nose cone and the parachute compartment.
For A More Stable launch:
Install the included stakes as shown
into a dirt or grass launch site.
Make sure that neither
the chords nor the
fabric are pinched by
the nose cone.
Make sure that the
lines are not
twisted or tangled.
