Multi-System Charger allows you to recharge the most
common rechargeable AA or AAA batteries:

The Rayovac Multi-System Charger identifies the
battery system you want to recharge and recharges at
the required rate and time - ensuring that you have
batteries ready for use with just one charger!
This manual contains important safety and operating
instructions for the Rayovac Rechargeable Multi-System
Charger (Model PSl), which should be read thoroughly
before using.
Remember to complete the warranty card at the back

For greatest savings and performance we recommend
RAYOVAC RECHARGEABLE ALKALINE BATTERIES.
Rechargeable Alkaline batteries are ideal for high drain
devices such as:

suffer from the problems of traditional Nickel Cadmium

5 Easy Steps Tii Battery Charging
Note: Rayovac Rechargeable Alkaline Batteries
come charged, ready to use. Nickel
Cadmium and Nickel Metal Hydride
batteries must be charged prior to
initial use.
1. Open the cover to load your
batteries into the battery charger
(Figure 1).
2. To load, batteries must be inserted
first at the positive (+) or nubbin end
and then snap the negative (-) or flat
end into place (Figure 2). Make sure
the batteries are fitted securely.

Battery needs charging (it may already be
fully charged).
The compartment is not empty (empty
compartments will not light green LED).
Occasionally, a Rayovac Rechargeable Alkaline Battery
inserted correctly may not cause the charging light to go
on. Leave it in the Charger, and check it in one hour.
If the light still does not go on, discard the battery.
The green LED lights will go out when batteries are
fully charged. Unplug the Charger before removing
batteries. Batteries will charge overnight.

Rayovac Rechargeable Alkaline
Performance and savings are maximised if you charge
batteries frequently. For best results, do not wait until
batteries are completely drained before charging.
We recommend,that you have a spare set of Rayovac
Rechargeable Alkaline batteries. Keep the sets together,
one in use and the other charged and ready to use
-
meaning that you will have maximum battery power
whenever you need it!
Rayovac Rechargeable Alkaline Batteries are
available in AA, AAA, C and D sizes. Also available in the
Rayovac Rechargeable range is the PS3 Multi-System
Charger which charges 1

Nickel Metal
Hydride (NiMH)
NiMH batteries should not be stored for long periods as
they lose approximately 43% of their power daily in
storage.
Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd)
Ni-Cd batteries should be completely drained before
recharging to avoid any “memory problem.”
Ni-Cd batteries should not be stored for long periods
as they lose approximately i-2% of their power daily in
storage.
FOR OPTIMAL CHARGING PERFORMANCE IN ALL
SYSTEMS,LEAVEBATTERIESINYOURCHARGER
UNTIL GREEN CHARGING LIGHTS GO OUT. THIS

Warranty
Rayovac Multi-System PSl Chargers are warranted to
be free of manufacturing defects for one full year from
the date of original consumer purchase. The warranty
does not cover physical damage from accident, misuse
or modification of the Rayovac Multi-System PSI
Charger. Your statutory rights are not affected.
If the product should become defective during the
warranty period, we will replace it free of charge if sent
