Ifyourwireless networkis configured touse
Wired EquivalentPrivacy(WEP)orRadiostation
Protected Access (WPA)dataencryption,
you need toknow the WEP orWPA code
(Web Key)inorderallow BLIKRadiostation to
communicatewiththe network.
BLIKRadiostation shouldbe abletooperate
anywherewithin35 metresof the wireless
basestation –depending onthe operating
environment and the specification ofyour
wirelessbasestation.
Pleaseensurethatyourwireless networkis
powered-up and connectedtoyour
broadband Internetconnection.

Powering BLIKRadiostation
YourBLIKRadiostation radiocan be powered fromthe mainsusing the poweradaptorsupplied, or
fromit sinternalbatterypack.
Topowerfromthe mains,insert the poweradaptorplug intothe DCpowersocket onthe
rearof BLIKRadiostation. Pressing the button will switchBLIKRadiostation on.
Onlyusethe poweradaptorsupplied. Replacementscan be purchased fromourwebsite
www.revo.co.uk, oralternativelycall uson 01555 666 161.
RecivaRadio Portal
The station list used byBLIKRadiostation is
compiled and managed byRecivaLimited,
theyalsoprovidethe internetradio
technologyused inBLIKRadiostation.
BLIKRadiostation usersareabletoaccess
additionalinternet radioservicesbyvisiting
the RecivaRadioPortalat - www.reciva.com
and registering theirradio.

Connecting To YourNetwork
nExtend the antenna on the rearofyourradio.
Press the buttontopower-upBLIK
Radiostation.
nAfterafewsecondsthis message willchange
toawelcomemessage.
nForinitialuse,Press button toscroll
up and downeachmode orsimplypress
MODE buttontoenter.
nPress button toselectINTERNET
RADIO,and press the SELECT button.Then
the displaywill showalistofregion foryour
choice.
nInsomecasesBLIKRadiostation mayfind
morethan one network.Usethe
buttonstosee the namesofeachone –and
press the SELECT button whenthe nameof
yourownnetworkis displayed.
nIfyournetworkis notconfigured torequesta
password(WEP/WPA),BLIKwill connectto
the networkanddisplay:
nIfaWEP/WPA key(password)isrequired,
BLIKwill displaythe following:
nAfterafew seconds, BLIKwill askyou toinput
the WEP/WPA code and willdisplaythe
passwordentryscreen asfollows:
nUsethe buttonstocycleback and
forwardthrough the alpha-numeric character
list. Pressthe SELECT button toselecta

Radiostation shouldnowsuccessfullyconnect
toyournetwork.
nBLIK Radiostation will automatically
rememberthe WEP/WPA code foryour
network,andothernetworksyouhaveused
previously.You will not need tore-enterthese
codesinthe future.

Choosing astation
nWhen BLIKRadiostation hasconnected to
yourwireless network,you arenowreadyto
select astation.
nPleaseNote: You canmovebacktothe
previousscreen atanytimebypressing the
button.
nYou will nowbe given fiveoption ofselecting
astation by Location, Genre,Search
Stations,Popularstations and New
stations.
Usethe buttonstopickyoursearch
method, and then press SELECT.
nChoosing location will giveyou an
alphabeticallistofcountriesbroadcasting
internetradio.Press the buttonsto
scrolluntil yourdesired location isappeared
then Press the SELECT. Forexample:
nYou will then be given the choiceoflisting all
station typesinthis country,orlisting themby
genreeg.Pop, Dance... etc.
nUsethe buttonsandpress SELECT to
setyourselection,BLIKRadiostation willnow
download thestation list foryourchoice.
nYou cannowscroll through the stationlistand
makeyourselection bypressing the SELECT
button
nChoosing Genre will giveyouan alphabetical
listofstation types.the keystoview
these.
nPress the SELECT buttontoselectyour
desired genre.
nYou will nowbegiven the choiceofviewingall
stationsinthis genre,orfurthersorting them
bylocation (country)
nNowselectyourchosen station fromthe
alphabeticallist.

General Operation
ChangingVolume
Tochange BLIKRadiostation svolume, press
the VOL and VOL button,the
numericalvolumelevelwill be displayed on
the BLIK screen,and BLIKRadiostation will
rememberitspreviousvolumelevelafter
shutdownandpower-up.
ReturningTo MainMenu
Simplypress MENU button.Alternatively,
Press MODE choicethe different mode, except
MPortMode ,and then You can movebackto
BLIKRadiostation stop-line mainmenu at any
timebypressing the button and working
backthroughpreviousmenu.
InternetRadioPresets
BLIKRadiostation canstoreten presetsby
using the preset keyson BLIKitself, orviathe
remotecontrol.Tostorethe currentstation,
press and holdone ofthe presetkeys(on
BLIKitself or
the remotecontrol). Toselect astored station,
simplypress the corresponding preset key.
Requesting aStation
Ifyou want tolisten toaradiostation that is
currentlynotlisted inBLIKRadiostation sstation
list, you can visit the Recivawebsiteat
http://www.reciva.com/ and makearequest to
add the station tothe list.
ResettingBLIKRadiostation
Performing afactoryresetwill completely
resetBLIK smemory,clearing all WEP/WPA
codesand usersettings.This willeffectively
returnBLIKtoitsdefault factorysettings.
‘FactoryReset can be activatedfromBLIK s
‘MainMenu / ‘SystemSetup menu.
Then the displaywill prompt you “Press ‘INFO
toconfirmreset”,
Note:Ifyoudonotwishtoresetthe radio,
waitafewsecondswithoutpressing
anybuttonsand the radiowill revertto
itspreviousoperating condition.

nTurnBLIKon andpress button toenterMAIN
MENU, Press buttonstoscroll up and down
until SYSTEMSETUPis appeared, then press
SELECT toconfirm.
nAfterentertimesetup mode, Press buttonsto
scrollup and down. therearealsobothautoto
updateand set 12/24 houris availableforyou.
nBLIKwill now askyou toset the time. Press SELECT
and usethe buttonstochangethe hour, and
then press SELECT toset. BLIKwill now askyou to
set the minutesinthe sameway.
nAlso, set the dayand press SELECT toconfirm.
SettingAnAlarm
nPress the button toswitchon yourradio, then press
the Alarm button. OrenterMAIN MENU subdirectory
toset it.
nBLIKwill allow youtostorefourdifferent alarm
programsinitsmemory. Select the alarmprogram
you dliketouse-eitherAlarm1orAlarm2etc. by
using the buttons, then pressing SELECT.
nBLIKwill now givetheoption of turning thefour
alarmson oroff. Press SELECT and use to
chooseOFF orON -then press SELECT. Forthis
example, turnAlarm1ON.
nBLIKwill now askyou toset the alarmtime. Press
SELECT and usethe buttonstochangethe
hour, then press SELECT toset. Inthesamewayto
set the minutes.
nBLIKwill askwhat type of wake-up alarmyou would
like-Internet Radio(IR), FM,BuzzerorLast listened.
Usethe buttonstochangemode, thenpress
SELECT toconfirm.
nBLIKallowsyoutoset thevolumelevelbypress the
VOL or VOL buttonstoyourdesirelevel,
then press SELECT toconfirm.
nFinally,Press buttonstoscroll up and downto
SAVE, press SELECT , the alarmicon will appearon
the top line ofBLIK sdisplayat all times.
nTohalt an alarm, pressanybuttonon BLIK skeypad.
Alternatively, tapthe SNOOZE/SLEEP button to
mutethe alarmforapre-defined period, anything
between5 –60 minutes. The default setting is 5
minutes.
nWhen BLIKis inSnoozemode, the Snoozeicon
(zzZzz)will be displayed on-screen.
