Safety instrucons
Preamble
The milk module is only allowed to be operated
by persons who have read and understood the-
se instrucons. All instrucons must be follo-
wed exactly. These operang instrucons must
always be available at the place where the ma-
chine is used.
The operang instrucons
These operang instrucons will help you to
get to know your milk module and to use all
the possible applicaons. The instrucons con-
tain important informaon for proper and safe
operaon. Observance of this informaon helps
to avoid dangers and unnecessary repair costs.
The reliability and service life of the milk modu-
le will be increased as a result.
Safety regulaons
• The machine must be switched o and the
water tap closed during interrupons in ope-
raon. No liability is accepted for water and
electricity damage caused by failure to comply
with these instrucons!
• Be aware that aer switching o the machine,
the dispensing parts remain hot for a consi-
derable me.
• The machine must be cleaned only with
Rex-Royal cleaning tablets. The prescribed cle-
aning intervals must be observed.
• Only trained persons who have the knowled-
ge and praccal experience with the machine,
especially with regard to safety and hygiene,
are allowed to open, maintain or repair the
machine. Otherwise there is danger to life and
equipment.
• Explosion hazard: Never spray into the machi-
ne with any spray. CFC-free propellants are of-
ten ammable.
• Neither the supplier nor the manufacturer
is liable for accidents or damage caused by
non-observance of the safety regulaons!
Operang condions
The milk module is designed for commercial use.
It is not suitable for operaon in private areas.
The machine must not be installed outdoors.
The interior temperature must be between
10 °C and 35 °C and the air humidity should not
exceed 80%.
Who is allowed to operate the milk
module?
This appliance is not intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge, unless they been given
supervision or instrucon concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
Installaon (rst commissioning)
The machine shall only be installed by an inst-
ructed technician. The machine has to be placed
in a horizontally posion on a massive table that
can support the weight under all circumstances.
The machine must be placed so that it is out of
the direct path of people, can be supervised by
trained personnel and is not within reach of a
water jet.
When assembling, the new hose set supplied
with the machine must be used. Old hose sets
must not be reused.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage cau-
sed by improper assembly.
Malfuncons
Error messages indicate an abnormal status
(Error) or a malfuncon of the milk module.
The display shows which part of the machine is
causing the malfuncon. Turn o the machine
at the main switch and turn it on again aer a
short waing me of about one minute. Try to
dispense a product again. If the aempt is not
successful, switch o the machine and contact
the customer service.
Decommissioning
When taking the machine out of operaon for a
longer period of me, it must be cleaned, swit-
ched o and unplugged. In addion, the milk
and syrup containers should be emped. It is
also recommended to switch o the water sup-
ply.
Water pressure and water hardness
Maximum 6 bar, minimum 2 bar (Scandinavian
countries max. 10 bar / 1.0 MPa). A pressure
outside the prescribed values will impair the fun

coning of the machine. If the water hardness
exceeds 10 dH°/17 fH°, it is required to opera-
te the machine with a water soening cartridge
with bypass. The opmum overall hardness is 5
to 8 dH° (8-14fH°).
Electrical instrucons
If a staonary appliance is not equipped with
a mains lead and plug or other means of dis-
connecon from the mains, which has a contact
opening on each pole in accordance with the
condions of overvoltage category III for full dis-
connecon, such a disconnecng device must
be installed in the xed electrical installaon in
accordance with the installaon regulaons.
If the mains connecon cable of the unit is da-
maged, it must be replaced by the manufactu-
rer or the customer service in order to avoid
hazards.
The milk module must be secured with a sepa-
rate fuse group as well as a fault current circuit
breaker (RCD). The power supply must be able
to be disconnected at all poles.
Addional sockets (1N 230V) are required for
machines with addional equipment.
CAUTION: Interrupons in the neutral
conductor can destroy the control unit.
Protecng the control unit
Never disconnect or connect a plug of the cont-
rol unit under current.
To protect the heang system, disconnect the
plug of the heang system before installaon.
The boiler must rst be lled with water.
Maintenance and support

HACCP - Hygiene concept and cleaning inst-
rucons
For a hygienically clean milk module, the cleaning
instrucons must always be followed. Thanks to
the innovave design, cleaning is quick.
Opmum beverage quality
Observe the generally applicable and coun-
try-specic hygiene regulaons for milk and
steam products.
• Only use pre-chilled milk at a maximum tem-
perature of 5 °C.
• Rinse the machine aer a long break
Water quality
The water quality is an important factor in the
producon of beverages. To ensure the reliabi-
lity and longevity of the milk module, the wa-
ter must be free of impuries. The correct wa-
ter treatment is essenal. Also in this case, we
are happy to put our experse at your disposal.

The milk module is approved for use with the
following foodstus:
• Milk (2 - 5 °C)
For machines with steam wand:
• Drinking water via xed water connecon
• Milk (2 - 5 °C)

service technicians. Regular maintenance ex-
tends the life of the milk module. In addion,

Cleaning
Rex-Royal hygiene concept
Perfect and consistent milk enjoyment requires that cleaning is carried out correctly. Follow the informaon in these instrucons and on the
touchscreen of your milk module to maintain its hygiene. Please contact your service partner or Rex-Royal AG if you have any quesons.
Please use cleaning gloves for reasons of hygiene.

Removing residues
Drying
Disinfecng
Disassemble the parts to be cleaned and place them in warm water. If necessary, use
a mild cleaning agent.
Remove all residues using the cleaning brushes and cleaning cables, and then rinse
with warm water.
Dry all parts thoroughly with the green microbre cloth.
1 Spray undiluted product onto a clean, dry surface.
Ensure complete weng.
2 Allow to act for 5 minutes (according to EN 1276, EN14476 and DGHM).
3 Allow surfaces to air-dry, if necessary redry thoroughly.
Important informaon
• Once every day, it is necessary to clean all systems that have been used at least once.
• Depending on the seng, cleaning must be started manually or the machine requests cleaning at the programmed me.
• Use only the cleaning agents listed above, as they are opmally adapted to the automac cleaning program. Before using the cleaning agents,
observe the safety instrucons on the packaging. Please ask for the safety data sheets if the safety instrucons are not printed in your
language.
• The ingredients of the cleaning agents can cause eye and skin irritaon and be detrimental to health if inhaled or swallowed.
• The cleaning agents must be kept out of reach of children and under lock and key, and are only allowed to be accessible to authorised persons.
The manufacturer is not liable for misuse.
• Wear protecve gloves whenever possible.
• Do not switch o the machine during cleaning.
• There is a risk of burns from hot liquids or steam. Do not touch any outlet during automac cleaning, do not reach into the dispensing area.
Only touch the touchscreen when requested to do so.
• Do not clean the milk module with a water jet or high-pressure cleaner and never pour water over it.
• Keep the microbre cloth and cleaning brushes in a clean and dry condion. Wash the microbre cloth and the cleaning brushes regularly.
