Cleaning, Sanitizing and Inspection Instructions
Use the following instructions to clean, sanitize and inspect the WM-Nano.
WARNING

Failure to heed may result in serious personal injury or death.
Always turn off and unplug machine before cleaning or servicing.
Never touch this machine without training and authorization from your supervisor.
Guards must be in place before plugging in and turning on machine.
Always keep your fingers, hands and clothing away from sharp or moving parts.
Cleaning Points
Listed below are several parts of the WM-Nano that should be cleaned daily.
• Film feed roller
• Lift unit, wrap plates and sealing roller
• Infeed platter
• Catch tray

Cleaning Procedure
Use the following steps to start the cleaning procedure.
1. Press the Cleaning button on the display.

2. Press the Start button on the display.
3. Turn the machine off by rotating the power switch to the left. The power switch is located to the
left of the infeed platter.

4. Clean the polished film feed roller using a clean cloth and Isopropyl alcohol as shown in Figure 4.
5. Turn the polished roller clock-wise using the supplied T-handle wrench.

Important
Do not turn the roller counter clock-wise.

6. Clean the lift unit, wrap plates and sealing roller with a damp cloth.

CAUTION
Wait until the sealing roller has cooled down before cleaning. Touching the sealing roller when
it is hot may cause severe burns.
7. Remove and clean the infeed platter and the infeed area.

8. Remove and clean the catch tray.

9. Re-insert the catch tray. Do not insert the catch tray upside down.

Washdown Cover
1. Ensure the machine is turned off.
2. Cover the machine with the washdown cover.
3. Spray and clean the room.
4. After the room is cleaned, remove the washdown cover and turn the machine back on. This will
protect the machine from condensation.
5. Press Return and Enter to return to normal operation.
