MACHINE DESCRIPTION
The welding machine i a rectifier adopting the mo t advanced inverter technology.
The development of inverter welding equipment profit from the development of the inverter power upply theory and
component . The inverter welding power ource utilize high-power component ingle tube IGBT to tran fer 50/60Hz
frequency up to 15KHz, then reduce the voltage and commutate, and output high-power voltage via PWM technology.
Becau e of the great reduce of the main tran former’ weight and volume; the efficiency increa e by 30%. The
appearance of inverter welding equipment i con idered to be a revolution for welding indu try.
The welding power ource can offer tronger, more concentrated and more table arc. When tick and work piece get
hort, it re pon e will be quicker. It mean that it i ea ier to de ign into welding machine with different dynamic
characteri tic , and it even can be adju ted for pecialty to make arc ofter or harder.
The welding machine ha the following characteri tic : effective, power aving, compact, table arc, good welding pool,

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
The machine i equipment with power voltage compen ation equipment. When power voltage move between±10% of
rated voltage, it till can work normally.
When u e long cable, in order to prevent voltage form going down, bigger ection cable i ugge ted. If cable i too long,
it may affect the performance of the power y tem. So we ugge t you to u e configured length.
1. Make ure intake of the machine not blocked or covered, le t cooling y tem could not work.
2. U e inducting cable who e ection i not le than 6 mm² to connect the hou ing to the ground. The way i from the
ground-connecting crew at the back to the earth device.
3. Correctly connect the arc torch or holder according to the ketch. Make ure the cable, holder and fa tening plug
have been connected with the ground. Put the fa tening plug into the fa tening ocket at the “-”polarity and fa ten it clockwi e.
4. Put the fa tening plug of the cable to fa tening ocket of “+” polarity at the front panel, fa ten it clockwi e, and the
earth clamp at the other terminal clamp the work piece.
5. Plea e pay attention to the connecting polarity, DC welding machine ha two connecting way : po itive connection
and negative connection. Po itive connection: holder connect with “-” polarity, while work piece with the “+”polarity.
Negative connection: work piece with the “-”polarity, holder with the “+” polarity. Choo e uitable way according to
working demand . If un uitable choice, it will cau e un table arc, more patter and conglutination. If uch problem
occur, plea e change the polarity of the fa tening plug.
6. According to input voltage grade, connect power cable with power upply box of relevant voltage grade. Make ure
there i no mi take and make ure the voltage difference among permi ion range. After the above job, in tallment
i fini hed and welding i available.
If di tance of work piece and machine i too far (500-100m), and the cable (torch cable and
earth cable) are too long, plea e choo e cable of bigger ection to minimize the reduction
of the voltage.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
1. Open the power witch, creen will how et current volume and ventilator i beginning to revolve.
2. Adju t knob of welding current and arc- triking pu h, make welding function complie with demand .
3. Generally, welding current i adequate to welding electrode according with a following:
Specification φ2.5 φ3.2 φ4.0 φ5.0
Current 70-100A 110-140A 170-220A 230-280A
4. Knob of arc- triking drive i u e to adju t welding function, pecially in low current arrange, that i cooperated with
knob of welding current adju tment, they may adju t current of arc triking and be out of control of knob of welding
current adju tment .So machine can grain powerful energy and pu h current can achieve effect that may.
5. If the anti- hock device i in talled in the machine. When the witch of back panel i put "ON" po ition, the VRD
indicator i lit, and when the witch i put "OFF" po ition, the VRD indicator i off, then the no-load voltage i 60-70V.
Switch of VRD i put in ide the machine, with the "on" condition. the no-load voltage change to be le than 15V,
which i afe for people.
6. If welding machine ha been coordinated remote control device:
1) Make ure the witch po ition of remote control device before operation .If witch i on “OFF” Po ition that i
out of remote control. Switch i on “ON” po ition that i u ing remote control device.
2) In ert plug of remote control in ocket of remote control correctly and tighten firmly in order to prevent poor
contact.
3) If remote control device i not be u ed, make ure the witch i on “OFF” po ition, or welding current will not be
adju ted on panel.
7. Hot initiation: Heavy current, perfect effect, triking ea ier.
WARNING!
Before connecting operation plea e make ure all the power i turned off. The right order i
to connect the welding cable and ground cable to the machine fir t, and make ure they are
firmly connected and then put the power plug to the power ource.

NOTES OR PREVENTIVE MEASURES
1. Environment
1）The machine can perform in environment where condition are dry with a dampne level of max 90%.
2）Ambient temperature i between -10 to 40 degree centigrade.
3）Avoid welding in un hine or dripping . Do not let water enter the ga .
4）Avoid welding in du t area or the environment with corro ive ga .
5）Avoid ga welding in the environment with trong airflow.
2. Safety norm
Our welding machine ha in talled protection circuit of over voltage, over current and over heat. When voltage,
output current and temperature of machine are exceeding the rated tandard, welding machine will top working
automatically. Becau e thi will be damage to welding machine, u er mu t pay attention to following.
1）The working area i adequately ventilated！
Our welding machine i powerful machine, when it i being operated, it generated high current , and natural
wind cannot ati fy with machine cool demand . So there i a fan in ide the machine for it cooling demand .
Make ure the intake i not in block or covered, There hould be 0.3 meter di tance from welding machine to
object of environment. U er hould make ure the working area i adequately ventilated. It i important for the
performance and the longevity of the machine.
2）Do not over load！
The operator hould remember to watch the max duty current (Re pon e to the elected duty cycle) Welding
current hould not exceed max duty cycle current. Over-load current will damage and burn up the machine.
3）No over voltage！
Power voltage can be found in diagram of main technical data. Automatic compen ation circuit of voltage will
a ure that welding current keep i in allowable range. If power voltage i exceeding allowable range limit , it
can damage the component of machine. The operator hould under tand thi ituation and take preventive
mea ure .
4）There i a grounding crew behind welding machine, with a grounding marker on it. Before operation, welding
cru t mu t be grounded reliably with cable which ection i over 6 quare millimeter, in order to prevent from
tatic electricity, and accident becau e of electricity leaking.
5）If welding time i exceeding duty cycle limited, welding machine will top working for protection. Becau e
machine i overheated, temperature control witch i on “ON’’ po ition and the indicator light i red. In thi
ituation, you don’t have to pull the plug, let the fan cool the machine. When the indicator light i off, and the
temperature goe down to the tandard range, it can weld again.

QUESTIONS TO BE RUN INTO DURING WELDING
Fitting , welding material , environment factor, upply power maybe have omething to do with welding. U er mu t try
to improve welding environment.
A. Arc- triking i difficult and ea y to pau e:
1. Make ure quality of tung ten electrode i high.
2. If the electrode i not dried, it will cau e un table arc, welding defect increa e and the quality i down.
3. If u e extra-long cable, the output voltage will decrea e, o plea e horten the cable.
B. Output current i not to rated value:
When power voltage depart from the rated value, it will make the output current not matched with rated value; when
voltage i lower than rated value, the max output may lower than rated value.
C. Current i not tabilizing when machine i being operated:
Thi may be cau ed by the following factor :
1. Electric wire net voltage ha been changed.
2. There i harmful interference from electric wire net or other equipment.
D. Too much patter during MMA welding:
1. Maybe current i too heavy while welding rod diameter i too mall:
2. Output terminal polarity connection i wrong. The po itive connection hould be applied at the normal technique, that
i to ay, welding rod connect with the negative polarity while the work piece with the po itive polarity. So plea e
change the polarity.

MAINTENANCE
1. Remove du t by dry and clean compre ed air regularly, if welding machine i operating in environment where i
polluted with moke and pollution air, the machine need to be cleaned once a month.
2. Pre ure of compre ed air mu t be within the rea onable range in order to prevent damaging to mall component
of inner-machine.
3. Check internal circuit of welding machine regularly and make ure the circuit connection are connected correctly
and tightly (e pecially plug-in connector and component ). If cale and ru t are found, plea e clean it, and connect
again tightly.
4. Prevent water and team from entering into the machine. If that happen , plea e blow it dry and check in ulation of
machine.
5. If welding machine will not be u ed for long time, it mu t be put into the packing box and tored in dry and clean
environment.
WARNING！
Connected welding machine to dynamotor directly will damage machine. The heavy voltage
pul e which i produced by dynamotor will burn out machine when machine connected
to dynamotor, only can u e a ynchronou dynamotor who e frequency and voltage both are
teady. Becau e of connecting welding machine to dynamotor directly lead to damage
and malfunction, which i not in guarantee.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND FAULT FINDING
Note : The following operation mu t be performed by qualified electrician with valid certification . Before
maintenance,plea e contact with u for profe ional ugge tion.
Fault ymptom and olution of ARC 250G//315G/400G:
Fault ymptom Solution
Meter doe n’t di play, fan doe n’t
work, no welding output.
1. Make ure power witch i off.
2. Make ure the power ource connecting to input cable i working alright.
3. Make ure the input voltage i 3 pha e.
Meter i normal, fan i working,
no welding output.
1. Check if all kind of component of machine are poor contact.
2. Check if connector of output terminal i broken or damaged.
3. Check if the control board i damaged (contact with the upplier or
manufacturer).
Abnormal indicator i on, fan i
working, meter i normal
1. IGBT i damaged.
2. Rectifier of quick recovery i damaged.
3. Control board i broken.
4. The feedback circuit i in fault. Plea e contact with the upplier or manufacturer.
Too much patter during MMA
welding
Output terminal polarity connection i wrong. So plea e change the polarity.
Erratic welding output current or
out of control of potentiometer.
1. The potentiometer i damaged.
2. All kind of connector are poor contact, e pecially plug . Check them.
Power witch doe n’t work
1. Power witch i broken.
2. Three pha e rectifier bridge i broken, replace it.
3. Check if there i any hort circuit of inner-machine.
