Requirements
Rimage 2000i Software Suite Version 7.4 requirements include:
•The Windows Setup will only run on Windows 2000 Professional SP4, Windows XP
Professional SP2, and Windows Server 2003 Release 2 platforms.
•Rimage 2000i Software Suite is not supported on 64–bit versions of Windows XP
Professional, or Windows Server 2003.
•Rimage 2000i Software Suite does not support SCSI-based Rimage systems.
Compatibility
•Label files
CD Designer label files from version 6.20 can be opened with CD Designer 7.75 and saved
to the 7.75 format. Rimage recommends updating all CD Designer software to CD Designer
7.75.
Installing Your New Software
To install your new software, refer to the Setup and Installation instructions included with your
product. The Setup and Installation instructions for your product are also available at
www.rimage.com/support.html.
After you install the Rimage 2000i Software Suite, you must activate your new software within 30
days. Until you complete activation, you will be prompted to activate your software each time you
use it. Activation is required for new installations.
Upgrading Your Software
To install your new software, refer to the Setup and Installation instructions included with your
product. The Setup and Installation instructions for your product are also available at
www.rimage.com/support.html.
•If you are upgrading your software and you have modified the default QuickDisc templates,
rename the templates folder before installing client applications. If you do not rename the
templates, they will be overwritten during the client installation.
•Printer, recorder, and autoloader firmware is not automatically updated when you update your
software. After you install your new software, visit www.rimage.com/support.html to check for
firmware updates and service packs. To view information about the latest firmware and
software updates, select your product and review the Latest Info tab.
