The back spacer kits (also referred to as back cover
kits) cover the flue elbow connection and provide
the required clearances from the heater and wall
in underfloor, and front‑of‑wall horizontal flueing
installations.
Back spacer kit contents
‑ Left spacer panel
‑ Right spacer panel
‑ Top spacer panel
‑ Flue elbow connection
‑ Plastic edging seal
The plastic edging seal is used to provide a protective
edge around the flue pipe cutout in the side spacer
panel (front‑of‑wall horizontal flue installations only).
Back spacer kit assembly
The back spacer kits are used instead of the
rear panels supplied with each Energysaver. The
screws and wall brackets provided with the heater
are required for assembly—do not discard these
items.
When replacing the rear panels supplied with the
heater, the back spacer kit adds approximately
115 mm of additional depth (standard rear panel ≈
85 mm, back spacer panel ≈ 200 mm).
Installation will be the same as the rear panels—
refer to the instructions provided with the
Energysaver unit, and follow the instructions in
the section titled ‘Heater Installation’.
