WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch.
• Do not use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier
from a neighbor’s phone. Follow the
gas supplier’s instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier,
call the fire department.

Installation and service must be performed
by a qualified installer, service agency or
the gas supplier.

personal injury or loss of life

FOR YOUR SAFETY READ EFORE OPERATING
A. This appliance does not have a pilot. It is
equipped with an ignition device which
automatically lights the burner. Do not try to light
the burner by hand.
. EFORE OPERATING smell all around the
appliance area for gas. e sure to smell next to
the floor because some gas is heavier than air
and will settle on the floor.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
- Do not try to light any appliance
- Do not touch any electric switch
- Do not use any phone in your building
- Immediately call your gas supplier from a
neighbour’s phone. Follow the gas
supplier’s instructions.
- If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the
fire department.
C. Use only your hand to push in or turn the gas
control knob. Never use tools. If the knob will not
push in or turn by hand, don’t try to repair it, call a
qualified service technician. Force or attempted
repair may result in a fire or explosion.
D. Do not use this appliance if any part has been under
water. Immediately call a qualified service
technician to inspect the appliance and to replace
any part of the control system and any gas control
which has been under water.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. STOP! Read the safety information above on this
label.
2. Set the control switch to “OFF” position.
3. Turn off all electric power to appliance.
4. This appliance is equipped with an ignition device
with automatically lights the burner. Do not try to
light the burner by hand.
5. Remove control access panel.
6. Push in gas control knob slightly and turn
clockwise to “OFF”.
NOTE: Knob cannot be turned to “OFF” unless
knob is pushed in slightly. Do not force.
7. Wait (5) minutes to clear out any gas. If you then
smell gas, STOP! Follow “ ” in the safety
information above on this label. If you don’t smell
gas, go to the next step.
8. Turn gas control knob counterclockwise to
“ON”.
9. Replace control access panel.
10. Turn on all electric power to the appliance.
11. Set thermostat to desired setting.
12. If the application will not operate, follow the
instructions “To Turn Off Gas Of Appliance”
TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE
13. Set the control switch to “OFF” position.
14. Turn off all electric power to the appliance if
service is to be performed.
15. Remove control access panel.
16. Push in gas control knob slightly and turn
clockwise to “OFF”. Do not force.
17. Replace control access panel.

or explosion may result causing property damage, personal injury
or loss of life.

MAINTENANCE
orrect maintenance prevents problems, guarantees maximum operating efficiency of the appliance
and allows running costs to be reduced.
Before carrying out any operation on the appliance, switch it off via the appropriate on/off
commands (or via the DD , if connected and in controller mode) and wait for the shutdown
cycle to terminate.
When the appliance is off, disconnect it from the gas and electricity mains via the external
disconnecting switch (GS) and the gas valve.
aution: Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause
improper and dangerous operation.
Verify proper operation after servicing.
Any operation that regards internal components of the appliance must be carried out by an
authorized Robur Technical Assistance enter (TA ), according to the instructions supplied by
the manufacturer.
Perform the operations described below at least once a year. An authorized Robur Technical
Assistance enter (TA ) will check the unit for correct operation every two years. If the unit is
subjected to particularly heavy use (for example in processing plants or in other conditions of
continuous operation), these maintenance operations must be performed more often.
Inspection and cleaning of the flue gas passage:
You will need: the unit shut off
1. Turn off gas and electric supply to the unit.
2. Remove front panel.
3. lean the base pan around the generator housing of any debris.
4. Look at the flue outlet of the generator housing and clear any debris that may be obstructing the
opening.
5. Look at the air intake chute for combustion air and clear any debris that may be obstructing the
opening.
6. Reinstall front door.
7. Turn on gas and electric supply to the unit.
8. Start unit to check for correct operation.
The manufacturer will not accept contractual or non-contractual liability for damages caused to
people, animals, or things due to incorrect installation and improper use of the unit and
also by not observing the indications and instructions provided by the manufacturer.
