•Unpack.
•Makesurethetoppartoftheswing(redpart)isnearestthesuspensionwebbing
strapandsafetysnap.
•Adjusttheangleoftheswingslightlysoitisnotcompletelyflat(largerknobswith
teethmechanism).
•Removetherubberendsfromthestraightmetaltubularbarsofthefootrest.
•Loosenthesmallerboltsonfootrestsooneopeningoftheboltsfitsaroundthebar
oftheswing.
•Passthetubularbarofthefootrestthroughtheotheropeningoftheboltand
tightenthebolt.Replacetherubberendonbothsides.

Permitsmovementinmanydifferentdirections.Fromgeneralswingingonanyaxisand/or
spinningusingtheSafetyRotationalDevice,thisswingprovidesacomfortablemediumfor
positioningrangingfromhorizontaltonearlyvertical.Encouragesspatialawarenessand
proprioceptivestimulation.Thelightweightaluminiumfootresttiltstoanypositionto
ensurecomfortandrelievetensiononthelegs.SeatandSafetySnapincluded.
Minimumheightrequirement:8ft(2.4metres)
Equipmentmustbe6ft(1.8metres)fromwallsandotherobstacles.
Thisproducthasaworkingloadof200lbs(90kilograms).

shouldbeplacedunderandaroundtheVariableAxisSwing.
•Donotusealuminumsafetysnaps.Useonlythesteelsafetysnapsavailablefrom
ROMPA®.AlwaysusewithaSafetyRotationalDevice.
•Donotusetheswingwithouttheprovidedsafetyrestraintsystem(blackwebbing
harness).Theharnessisalreadythreadedintotheswing,butcanbeadjustedby
undoingthebuckleandthreadingtheharnessthroughoneoftheotherslitsinthe
redfabric.Replacethebuckleafterwards.

3. Adjusttheangleoftheswingslightlysoitisnotcompletelyflat(largerknobswith
teethmechanism).
4. Removetherubberendsfromthestraightmetaltubularbarsofthefootrest.
5. Loosenthesmallerboltsonfootrestsooneopeningoftheboltsfitsaroundthebar
oftheswing.
6. Passthetubularbarofthefootrestthroughtheotheropeningofthebolt.
7. Replacetherubberendonbothsides
8. Usethethinwhitecordstoattachtheswingtotheframeinacentralposition.
9. OpentheSafetySnapandattachtheswingtoyourSafetyRotationalDevice.
Toadjusttheangleoftheswing
Donotadjusttheswingwiththeclientinside.
Loosenthepositioningplateknobsonthesidesoftheswinguntiltheteethoftheplates
disengage.Adjusttheangleoftheseattothedesiredpositionandtightentheknobstillthe
teethofthepositioningplatesfullyengage.Donotloosentheknobsmorethanisnecessary
toadjusttheswing.Tiethecordstotheoutsideloopoftheframe.
14. CareandMaintenance
Everymonthcheck:
•SafetySnaps,allmetaltometalconnections,andSafetyRotationalDevice.Checkif
thetoploopoftheswingiswornorfraying.
•Checkfortearsorrippedseamsinthecover.
•Checkceilingeyeboltforwear.
•Checkallwearpoints.
Ifwearandtearcouldcauseproductfailure,discontinueuseimmediately.

CLEANING

Whennotinuse,storeoutofsunlightandoutofreachofclients.
Torepositionhangingstrapaftercleaning
Wrapthewebbingstraproundthetopofthealuminiumframetwotimes,loopingoneend
ofthewebbingundertheotherendbothtimes.Thenattachthesafetysnaptothe
webbing.Thewebbingshouldtightenaroundtheframe.
15. Troubleshooting
Problem:thefootrestattachmentknobsarefacinginwards
•Theseknobsmustbefacingoutwards–removeandreplaceasnecessary
Problem:theswingkeepsmoving
•Makesurethelargerknobswiththeteetharesecurelytightened
•Usethewhitecordstocentralizetheswing
Problem:thefootrestattachmentisnotlevel
•Whenattaching,makesurethetopsofthetubularpolesarelevel(clampknobsat
sameheight).
