1 FAQs About Login
1.1 What Is the Default Management IP Address of a Reyee EST Series
Wireless Bridges?
For Reyee EST series wireless bridges, the default management IP address is 10.44.77.254.
1.2 How Do I Log In to a Reyee EST Series Wireless Bridge?
There are three ways to log in to the wireless bridge.
Wired mode:
(1) Connect a PC to a LAN port of the wireless bridge.
(2) Configure IP addresses of the PC and management interface to be on the same network segment.
(3) Log in to the device by using the default management IP address 10.44.77.254.
Wireless mode:
(1) Connect to the default wireless SSID @Ruijie-bxxxx.
(2) Log in to the device by using the default management IP address 10.44.77.254.
Log in to the wireless bridge through Ruijie Reyee App .
Caution
If you fail to find the management Wi-Fi after the device has been provisioned for over 2 hours,
restart the wireless bridge.
Place the target device around the wireless bridge when connecting the target device.
Click Create a Project.You can add devices on Ruijie ReyeeApp by either Connect to Wi-Fi or Scan or
enter SN.

Connect to Wi-Fi:
a Tap Wireless Bridge and tap Start.
b Tap Connect to connect to the default SSID @Ruijie-bxxxx, where xxxx is the last four digits of the
MAC address. Check the MAC address at the bottom label of the device.

c Check whether devices are detected.
d Tap Next. Name the project and enter the management password.

e Configure uplink settings and select the Internet connection mode of a WAN.

f Configure the SSID, password, and country code.

g Tap Save.
Scan or enter SN
a Tap Scan QR-code. Scan the QR code at the bottom label of the device. The App automatically identifies
the default Wi-Fi of the wireless bridge. Tap Connect to connect to the default Wi-Fi.

b Enter the management password and tap OK.
1.3 What Can I Do If I Fail to Log In to the Eweb Management System?
(1) Check that the network cable is properly connected to the LAN port of the device and the corresponding LED
indicator blinks or is steady on.

(2) Before accessing the configuration GUI, configure automatic IPaddress assignment (recommended), so that
the server with DHCP enabled can automatically assign an IP address to the PC. To allocate a static IP
address to the PC, set the IP address of the PC on the same network segment as the IP address of the
management interface.
(3) Run the ping command to test the connectivity between the PC and the device.
If the fault persists, restore the device to factory settings.

2.1 What Is the Default Login Password Reyee EST Series Wireless
Bridges?
A Reyee EST wireless bridge does not have the default username and password. You can log in directly upon
first login.
2.2 How Do I Change the Device Login Password?
There are three ways to change the device login password:
Log in to the Eweb of the device to change the device password.
a Select Admin Password.
b Click Admin Password to change the login password for all devices.
If there is a non-bridged device on the network, Admin Password becomes unavailable.

Caution
This password is used to log in to Eweb of any device on the network.
If there is a non-bridged device on the network, the admin password will be disabled.
If the device is online on Ruijie Cloud, you can modify the management password on the Ruijie Cloud Eweb.
a Select a project from Project List and click Devices>Project Password.
b Enter a new password and click Save.

You can also change the password through Ruijie Reyee App .
Click the upper right corner of the page and select Project Password. Change the management password
and click Save.
Caution
Reyee EST series devices on a network use the same login password.
2.3 What Can I Do If I Forget the Password?
(1) If you manage your Reyee EST series wireless bridge on Ruijie Cloud, you can change the password through
Ruijie Cloud.
(2) If the Reyee EST series wireless bridge is not on Ruijie Cloud, you can press the reset button on the wireless
bridge for more than 5s to restore factory settings.

Caution
Restoring factory settings will delete the existing configuration and you are required to configure the device
again at your next login. Therefore, exercise caution when performing this operation.

3.1 What Should I Do If the Device Cannot Obtain an IP Address
Through DHCP?
(1) Check the DHCP server configuration.
a Check whether DHCP is enabled.
b Check whether the DHCP address pool is configured.
c Check whether the number of IP addresses in the DHCP address pool is sufficient.
(2) If there are switches, check whether the VLAN ID, access port, and trunk port are configured correctly.
(3) If DHCP snooping is configured, check whether the port where the DHCP server is located is configured as
a trusted interface.

4.1 What Is the Default Wi-Fi Name of a Reyee EST Series Wireless
Bridge?
For Reyee EST series wireless bridges, the default Wi-Fi name is @Ruijie-bxxxx.
4.2 How Are Radio Settings Adjusted When the Wireless Network
Quality Is Poor?
The device detects thesurrounding wireless environment and selects the appropriate configuration upon power-
on. However, network freezing caused by wireless environment changes cannot be avoided. You can optimize
the network in one-click mode, analyze the wireless environment around the access point, and select appropriate
parameters.
Caution
After optimization, settings of the Wi-Fi network are reset. Clients need to reconnect to the W-Fi network.
Therefore, exercise caution when performing this operation.
1. Optimizing the Radio Channel
(1) Channel settings
Choose Wireless > WDS > Channel & Transmit Power > 5G Channel.
The default channel is Auto, indicating automatic channel adaption based on the surrounding environment
upon power-on. Choose the optimal channel identified throughthe preceding analysis. Click Save to activate
settings immediately. Excess STAs connected to a channel can introduce stronger wireless interference.
