INTRODUCTION
This extractor has been designed and manufactured for professional applications, and it should be used for
these purposes. The extractor is designed for the extraction of dry dust only.
WARNING!
Never allow the extractor to suck in flammable substances, explosives, solvents, welding vapours, burning
substances, fuels, lubricating oils, alcohols, paints, or thinners. The collecting of dust from surfaces subject
to grinding, or coated with paint, which has not completed its catalytic cycle yet, may result in spontaneous
ignition, thus creating a serious risk of fire and/or explosion.
At a minimum of once a year the manufacturer or authorised personnel should inspect the system. NTS Sp.
z o.o. [Ltd.] will not be held responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, due to failure to follow the
guidelines provided in these Instructions.
INTRODUCTORY NOTES, MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS REGARDING POWER SUPPLY,
RATING PLATE
The machine in question has been designed and manufactured in compliance with safety rules, and
therefore it has been permitted for use as it constitutes no hazard for its users.
However, the following aspects need to be remembered:
-the machine is earthed (only S135E) and has to be connected to a proper supply network;
-do not exceed the maximum loads specified in the Specifications table;
-the machine shall be used by properly trained personnel.
MINIMUM POWER SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS
-monophase voltage 230 V - 50 Hz; with earth conductor 1.5mm
2
(only for S135E);
-automatic overload switch 6Ka 30mA 16A has to be installed before supply circuit.
RATING PLATE
-The rating plate in the back panel of the device provides general information. If you need to find
more detailed data, read “Specifications” section.

INSTALLATION
Warning:
-The machine has to be set in a dry and well-ventilated place, where the air is changed at a
minimum of once an hour; fresh air content (without equipment supporting ventilation) -
50%.
-Temperature in the place of work: 10-35°
°°
°C, humidity: 50-90%.
-The surface, on which the machine stands, may be inclined at no more than 5-10 degrees.
CONNECTION TO POWER SUPPLY NETWORK
Before connecting the power supply cable make sure that the switch is in the OFF (0) position. Connect the
machine to a socket, which is able to withstand the machine load.
CONNECTION OF TOOLS (S135E)
Insert the plug into the socket (5) (Fig. 2); if the tool is equipped with a dust extraction system, connect it via
the suction hose with the coupling (Fig. 3 and 4).
PRELIMINARY CHECK
As soon as you connect all the elements, check if:
-The dust bag (7) is inside the container (9);
-the suction hose is securely connected.
OPERATION OF DUST EXTRACTION MACHINE
The machine may be used in manual or automatic operation mode.
MANUAL OPERATION
1. Set switch (3) in the ON position (I).
2. Set switch (4) in the ON position (MAN) (only S135E).
In this setting the machine works continuously, independent of whether the tool is working or not.
AUTOMATIC OPERATION (only S135E)
Set switch (3) in the ON position (I) and switch (4) in the automatic mode (AUT).
In this setting the extraction proceeds only while the connected tool is working . As soon as the tool is
switched of, suction will automatically stop.
MANUAL OPERATION FOR EXTRACTION OF LIQUIDS
1. Release hooks (12) fastening the machine head (1) (Fig. 5).
2. Remove filter element (14) (Fig. 7-8) and dust bag (7) (Fig. 10).
3. Insert polyester filter (15) into suction basket (Fig. 9) and fasten the hooks again.
4. Set switch (3) and switch (4) (only S135E) in manual mode (MAN).
GUIDELINES
Do not connect loads exceeding the amount permissible.
First check if all the operations have been completed according to the guidelines provided above, and then
test the working of the tools in compliance with their respective operating instructions.

6
MAINTENANCE
Warning:
Always cut off the power supply before cleaning and bag or filter element replacement operations.
MAINTENANCE (performed by user)
-check the condition of suction hoses;
-always keep the machine clean;
-put on a dust-mask and clean the filter as follows:
a. open head (1) using hooks (12) (Fig. 5-6);
b. take out filter element (14) (Fig. 7-8) and clean it with a soft brush or wash with stream of water.
Make sure that it is thoroughly clean before re-using;
c. take out worn out dust bag (7) and close it with the plug (lid) (9) (Fig. 12);
d. insert a new dust bag and place it so that its hole coincides with the outlet (8), according to the
illustration (Fig. 11);
e. put back the filter element;
f. fasten the hooks of extractor head (1) and make sure that it is properly closed.
Warning:
-If dust escapes from the machine, immediately switch it off.
-In case of fire use the appropriate extinguishing media and leave your workplace.
-In case of a power failure set all switches in the OFF position to prevent spontaneous
switching on of the unit when power comes back on (S135E).
Warning:
-Use RUPES 001.1606/C dust bags only.
-Always carefully check the dust bags. If dust gets inside the unit, it may cause serious
damage.
