SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before using the trampoline, read through all the instructions, warnings
and advice about care, maintenance and use in this manual in order to
prevent any injuries. There is a risk of injuries if the instructions below
are not followed.
• The owner of the trampoline and the person in charge of it are respon-
sible for making sure that anyone who uses the trampoline is aware of
the information contained in this manual.
• Make sure there is enough room to jump high. A height of at least
7.3 metres above the ground is recommended. Make sure there are no
cables, branches or other potentially dangerous objects sticking out in
the area.
• It is important to have clear space around the sides. Do not put the
trampoline close to a wall, building, fence or similar. Make sure that
there is enough clear space around the trampoline (at least 2 metres).
• Put the trampoline in an area that has a flat surface and is well illuminated.
• Do not put the trampoline on a concrete or stone floor, or on a wet
surface.
• Do not use the trampoline indoors.
• Make sure that the trampoline is not used by anyone unauthorised to
use it or without supervision.
• Remove any objects from under the trampoline. There should be no
obstacles underneath the trampoline.
• Do not do somersaults on the trampoline. If you land on your head or
neck, this could cause serious injuries, paralysis or death, even if you
land in the centre of the mat.
• Keep in the centre of the mat when you are jumping on it. This will
reduce the risk of injuries that could occur from landing on the frame
or the springs.
• Only one person should jump at a time. If several people jump at the
same time, this could result in serious accidents.
• Do not use the trampoline without anyone watching you.
• Make sure the opening of the safety net is properly closed before you
start jumping.

ENG
• Trampolines with a height of more than 51 cm are not recommended
for children under 6 years of age.
• Check the trampoline every time you want to use it. Check to make
sure that the edge protector is in the correct place. Replace any worn,
damaged or missing parts.
• Climb carefully when you are getting on or o the trampoline. It is risky to
jump from the trampoline onto the ground or jumping onto the trampoline.
Do not use the trampoline as a springboard to jump onto other objects.
• Do not use the trampoline straight after you have eaten.
• Stop jumping by bending at the knees when your feet land on the mat.
You need to learn this before trying any other kinds of jump.
• Learn the basic jumps and simple movements before trying more
advanced moves. There are many exercises you can do by combining the
basic jumps and movements, or carrying them out in a dierent order.
• Do not jump too high. Only do low jumps until you have learnt the proper
jumping technique and how to land in the middle of the mat. Being in
control of the jump is more important than jumping high.
• Stay in control by keeping your eyes on the mat. If you do not do this,
you may lose your balance or control.
• Do not use the trampoline if you are tired. Only jump for short periods
of time.
• Make sure that the trampoline is stored in a safe place when it is not
in use. Make sure only authorised people use it. If you use a ladder to
get onto the trampoline, it must be removed by the person in charge if
they leave the area in order to prevent children under six years from
climbing onto the trampoline.
• Make sure that any objects that could get in the way of the person
jumping are kept away from the trampoline. Keep the area around the
trampoline clear of any objects.
• Do not use the trampoline if you have drunk alcohol or taken drugs.
• If you would like information about jumping exercises, contact an
experienced instructor.
• Do not use the trampoline if the mat is wet, damaged, dirty or worn.
Check the trampoline before you use it.
• There should be no wind. Do not jump if it is windy.

Check to see if the safety net is worn or if there are any loose or missing
parts every time you want to use the trampoline. There are some
circumstances where the risk of injury is higher, in particular:
• If there are tears, rips or holes in the safety net, its accessories or the
mat.
• If the safety net is slack.
• If the seams are loose or the safety net is worn.
• If parts of the frame are bent or damaged, for example, the legs.
• If there are broken, damaged or missing springs.
• If the edge protector is not being used, is broken or incorrectly
assembled
• If any parts are sticking out (particularly those with sharp edges) on
the frame, the springs or the trampoline.
IF YOU DISCOVER ANY OF THE ABOVE OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD
PUT PEOPLE AT RISK OF INJURY, THE TRAMPOLINE MUST BE DISMANT-
LED OR PUT AWAY AND MAY NOT BE USED UNTIL THE PROBLEM(S) HAS
(HAVE) BEEN SOLVED.
WHERE TO PUT YOUR TRAMPOLINE
There must be at least 7.3 metres of clear air above the mat. Make sure that there are no
dangerous objects such as branches, other objects (e.g. swings or pools) cables, walls,
fences, etc., close to the trampoline. Remember the following when deciding where to put
your trampoline:
• The trampoline must be placed on an even surface.
• The area must be bright or illuminated.
• There should be no objects underneath the trampoline.
• No unauthorised people should be able to use the trampoline when it is not in use.
• The mat must be dry. Never jump on a wet mat.
• There should be no wind. Do not jump if it is windy.
The person in charge must notify anyone using the trampoline of the rules set out in this
manual. The person in charge must be an adult. They must always be present when the
trampoline is in use. 5
