• Do not use timers, programmers or any other equipment that automa-
tically switches on the patio heater. There is a risk of fire if the patio
heater is covered or in the wrong place.
• The product may be used by children of eight (8) years and over, as well
as by people with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities, if
they are supervised or given instructions on the safe use of the product
and provided that they understand the potential hazards involved.
• The patio heater is intended for household use. It must not be used on
building sites, or in greenhouses, stables and other places filled with
flammable dust.
• Do not use the patio heater:
- near water, e.g. swimming pools or showers,
- in dusty environments,
- where there is steam or in the vicinity of gases,
- as a towel rail, or to dry clothes,
- for heating a sauna or other areas,
- when rearing animals.
• Check to ensure that the correct mains voltage is used. Refer to the
identification plate of the product.
• Never use the product in the vicinity of heat sources.
• Use the product only for its intended purpose.
• Use only the accessories supplied.
• The mains cable should be checked regularly. Never use the product if
the mains cable or plug is damaged.
• If the mains cable is damaged, to avoid the risk of electric shock or
fire, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer or one of its service
points, or by a qualified professional.
• Protect yourself against electric shock. Do not dip the power cable,
plug or product in water or any other liquid.
• Never place the mains cable over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
• Never disconnect the product from the mains by pulling on the mains
cable. Always pull out the plug.
