1. SAFETY
1.1. GENERAL
9It is important to ensure that the lamp is fully charged before initial use.
8DO NOT turn the lamp on when it is being charged.
8DO NOT shine directly into your, another person’s or an animal’s eyes.
8DO NOT allow children to use the lamp.
8DO NOT leave battery in a discharged state. Recharge battery immediately.
9Recharge the battery at least once every six months of non-use.
9There are no user serviceable components. DO NOT dismantle.
8DO NOT pull the charger plug from the mains socket by the lead.
1.2. BATTERY SAFETY
WARNING! To reduce the risk of burns or re:
8DO NOT Attempt to open, disassemble, modify or service the battery pack.
8DO NOT Crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in re or water.
8DO NOT Expose to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
9Recycle or dispose of used battery as stipulated by local regulation.
9If the electrolyte in the cells gets on your skin, thoroughly wash with water. If it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool
water and seek immediate medical attention.
2. INTRODUCTION
LED1801:
Slimline foldout inspection lamp for use in conned spaces, with 6mm minimum thickness. Inspection arm can be rotated 180° and folded back
for use as a hands-free inspection lamp. Features 12 SMD LEDs which produce up to 500 lumens, operated by a rolling dimmer switch, and a
1W SMD LED in the end for use as a directional torch. Suitable for hands-free operation with three magnets and a hanging hook. Folds away,
small and compact, suitable for keeping in your pocket. Can be charged in a Sealey docking station - LED1801K (not supplied). Powered by a
3.7V 2.6Ah rechargeable Li-ion battery which lasts up to eight hours. Supplied with USB charging lead.
LED1801K:
Docking station kit includes 2 x LED1801 and charging station. Each inspection lamp has 12 x SMD LED’s (side) + 1 x SMD LED (top)
producing up to 500 lumens. When both inspection lamps are docked it can be used as a oodlight with 2 light options 50% and 100%
producing 500 or 1000 lumens. Each inspection lamp can extend and is able to rotate 180° making it easy to direct the light. 2 x charging
points with individual LED charging level indicators. Includes 5V-2A mains adaptor and 1m USB charging cable.

4. OPERATION
4.1. CHARGING
4.1.1. The battery tted to this lamp is considered to be a consumable
item and its ability to accept charge will reduce over time. We will
warranty it against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of
one year, this does not cover fair wear and tear. If the battery
is not properly charged before rst use, or regularly
conditioned, its capacity will diminish. Under these circumstances
we will not replace the battery even if it is less than one year old.
Note: The torches will ash when the battery gets low.
4.1.2. Connect the charger into the charge socket on the lamp, see g.1.
Plug into power supply and turn on, the red charge LED on the
lamp will light as the battery charges. When fully charged the LED
turns green.
4.1.3. When the battery has fully charged (approx 3hrs) Disconnect from
mains supply.
Note: The Lithium battery does not suffer from memory effect and once
fully charged may be stored for up to six months without another
charge.
4.2. Unfold lamp. Select either directional torch or inspection lamp.
Brightness is controlled by dimmer switch.
4.3. Lamp can be hung from the hook or attached using magnets.
4.4. When the lamps are docked in the station (LED1801K) you can
turn both of the docked torches on by using the On/Off button
on top of the unit.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Keep lamp clean and check for damage before every use. If
damage is observed, remove from use until unit is repaired.
5.2. The battery is not designed to be removed .

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
BATTERY REMOVAL
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products
containing batteries (as defined within these regulations).
