PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL TYRE INFLATOR WITH
TWIN PUSH-ON CONNECTOR

and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

1. SAFETY
9Disconnect the gauge from the air supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
9Maintain the gauge in good condition (use an authorised service agent), and keep the gauge clean for best and safest performance.
9Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
9Locate gauge in a suitable work area, keep area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials and ensure there is adequate lighting.
9Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
8DO NOT direct gauge outlet at yourself or at other persons or animals.
8DO NOT carry by the hose, or yank the hose from the air supply.
8DO NOT use the gauge for a task which it is not designed to perform.
8DO NOT operate the gauge when you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
8DO NOT operate the gauge if any parts are missing or the gauge is damaged, as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
2. INTRODUCTION
Die cast aluminium body with large rubber bumper, backlit LCD digital display and battery level indicator. Auto power off after eight seconds and
auto power on once pressure is sensed, or air ination starts. 350mm exible hose tted with 240mm, twin push-on air connector. Supplied with
a serial numbered calibration certicate.

4. CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE
This tyre inflator Model number SA397, has been calibrated in its normal working
position on test equipment with an accuracy that is traceable to International
Standards according to 86/217/EEC.

5. BATTERY CHANGE
5.1. The inator requires 2 x AAA batteries.
5.2. If the battery voltage is below 2.6 volts the battery icon will ash continuously until it shuts down. If the battery voltage is below 2.5
volts, the “LO” battery icon appears while the power is on and then shuts down automatically. The batteries must be changed if the
battery icon ashes. See below.
Unscrew the battery cap Slide the batteries in the inator with the Replace the battery cap, don’t overtighten
positive end facing out, out of the
inator
6. SCALE CHANGE
6.1. Press and hold the scale change button to activate the display. Once the display is activated press and hold the button for 2 seconds
to change the display scale, see g.1.
7. OPERATION
WARNING! To avoid the risk of personal injury, especially to the eyes,
face or skin, DO NOT direct the air stream at any person or body parts.
WARNING! Never exceed the maximum pressure of the tyre.
7.1. TO READ PRESSURE
7.1.1. Before each pressure reading fully depress lever and release. Place hold-on
connector squarely and rmly onto tyre valve.
7.1.2. Check pressure gauge, the digital display will activate once the tyre pressure
is sensed. If no pressure is sensed the display will not turn on. Press trigger to
add air into the tyre, before reading the pressure again.
7.2. TO INFLATE
7.2.1. Place hold-on connector squarely and rmly onto tyre valve.
7.2.2. Fully depress lever for an appropriate period of time and release lever.
7.2.3. Check pressure gauge and repeat procedure until correct pressure level is
achieved.
7.3. TO DEFLATE
7.3.1. Place hold-on connector squarely and rmly onto the tyre valve.
7.3.2. Depress lever half way, until the air can be heard escaping, for the appropriate
amount of time, and then release the lever.
7.3.3. Check pressure gauge and repeat procedure until correct pressure level
is achieved.

Environmental Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, according to local regulations.
