1.3. PERSONAL SAFETY
9Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. DO NOT use a power tool while you are

 personalinjury.

up or carrying the tool.

9Carrythetoolbythehandlewiththeattachmentsstoppedandtakingcarenottooperateanypowerswitch.Propercarryingofthetool
willdecreasetheriskofinadvertentstartingandresultantpersonalinjuryfromthegardeningtools.
9Whentransportingorstoringthetool,alwaystthebladecover.Properhandlingofthetoolwilldecreasetheriskofpersonalinjury
fromtheblades.

2. INTRODUCTION
Cordless3in1gardentool–bodyonly,isdesignedtomaketrimmingandgardeningquickandeasy.Itsergonomicdesignandlock-in
functionmakeitcomfortableandeasytouse.Thereare3tool-lessinterchangeablefunctionswhichmeansyoucanselectthegrassshearing
blade,thehedgetrimmerbladeforlighttrimmingortheraker.Requirescompatible20Vbatteryandmainscharger,soldseparately.

4.1. Ensure that you have read, understood and comply with all the
 safetyinstructionsinSection1.
4.2. INSTALLING / REMOVING SHEARS
4.2.1. Setthetoolonit’sbacktoexposetheplasticcover(g.1).Depressthetabandslidethecoverforwardsandawayfromthetool.
4.2.2. Removing the Shears: Liftshearscuttingbladesupwardsandforwardstoliftthemo󰀨ofthetwopinsandoutofthebody.
4.2.3. Installing the shears: Withtheshearbladedrivemechanismfacingdownwardsintothebody,holdtheshearsataslightangleand
 slidethemechanismintothebody,locatingtherectangularcut-outsinthemechanismintothecorrespondinglugsinthe
 body(g.3).Manipulatethemechanismsuchthatthetwoholesinitlineupwiththepinsinthebody.
4.2.4. Presstheshearsrmlydowntoengagethedrivemechanism.
4.2.5. Replace the plastic cover.

5.3. LUBRICATION
5.3.1. Lightlylubricateallmovingpartsatregularintervalswithasuitablelubricant.SeeSealey.co.ukforourrangeoflubricants.
5.4. STORAGE
5.4.1. Storethistoolcarefullyinasecure,dryplaceoutofthereachofchildren.Ensureallbladecoversaretted.

 Personalprotectiveequipment.
 Wearenotawareofanypersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)thatprovidesprotectionagainstvibrationinjurythatmayresultfromthe
 uncontrolleduseofthistool.Werecommendasu󰀩cientsupplyofclothing(includinggloves)toenabletheoperatortoremainwarm

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycleunwantedmaterialsinsteadofdisposingofthemaswaste.Alltools,accessoriesandpackagingshouldbesorted,takento
arecyclingcentreanddisposedofinamannerwhichiscompatiblewiththeenvironment.Whentheproductbecomescompletely
unserviceableandrequiresdisposal,drainanyfluids(ifapplicable)intoapprovedcontainersanddisposeoftheproductandfluids
according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
DisposeofthisproductattheendofitsworkinglifeincompliancewiththeEUDirectiveonWasteElectricalandElectronicEquipment
(WEEE).Whentheproductisnolongerrequired,itmustbedisposedofinanenvironmentallyprotectiveway.Contactyourlocalsolid
