1. SAFETY
9Familiarise yourself with the application and limitations of the hose reel, as well as the specific hazards.
WARNING! Disconnect the hose reel from the water supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
9Maintain the hose reel in good condition (use an authorised service agent).
9Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
9Locate and fix the hose reel in a suitable working area. DO NOT position the hose in direct sunlight, or in areas of extreme heat or cold.
9Ensure there is adequate lighting.
WARNING! Ensure maximum pressure is not exceeded.
9Keep extended hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
9Check hose for wear before each use, and ensure all connections are secure.
9Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
9Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings, and other loose jewellery and contain and/or tie back long hair.
9Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
8DO NOT operate the hose reel if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
8DO NOT exceed the rated capacity of the hose reel.
8DO NOT use the hose reel for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
8DO NOT yank the hose from the water supply.
8DO NOT operate the hose reel when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
8DO NOT direct water from the water hose at yourself or others.
9When not in use ensure the water supply is turned off and tools disconnected. Disconnect from the water supply and retract the hose.

4. MOUNTING / ASSEMBLY
NOTE! Fit reel to wall before fitting hose to reel.
4.1. Fix the reel in an appropriate position ensuring that the wall and the four mounting fixings (not supplied) will adequately support the
weight of the reel and hose as well as the tension of the hose as it is pulled from the reel.
4.2. Ensure that the hose reel is located so that the hose can be operated without causing unnecessary sideways force.
4.3. It is recommended that two people fit the reel to the chosen surface, one to support the weight and the second to secure the reel
using the bolt holes. Four sturdy masonry bolts are suitable for securing the hose reel, providing they give ample support during
the unreeling/reeling of the hose.
4.4. Attachthehosetothe3/4”BSPfemalefittingandwinditontothereeltakingcaretoguidethehosefromonesideofthereeltothe
other to prevent bunching of the hose.
4.5. Attachthesupplyhosetothe3/4”BSPfemaleexternalfitting.
