This guide will provide you
with a brief summary of the
steps involved in successfully
installing the SL-15 compact
marine lantern.
Your system will consist of:
1 x SL-15 marine lantern and switch key
Other tools required to successfully set up this
product, are:
• Internet connection
• SealitePro for Bluetooth®Connectivity
Introduction
The purpose of this quick start guide is to present a
brief summary of the steps involved in the installation
of the SL-15 compact marine lantern, from the
physical installation of the product itself to the
conguration of its Flash Code.
Quickstart
1. Remove the SL-15 Lantern from the packaging.
2. Check if Lantern is switched ON
(Using steps below)
3. The SL-15 is set to a Flash Code of:
0.3 seconds ON; and
2.7 seconds OFF
(Switch Position ‘A’ in Flash Code Table)
4. If the SL-15 lantern is preset to the ON
position it is currently in Sleep Mode.
5. To activate, expose the lantern to
30 seconds of sunlight.
6. To check lantern is working, cover the lantern in
darkness for at least 30 seconds.
7. If you wish to alter the Flash Code please follow the
steps over the page (Adjusting the Flash Code),
otherwise proceed to install your lantern.
8. Position the lantern in your desired location
and secure, utilising the 4 x holes in the ange.
Ensure the lantern is bolted to an even, at surface.

Charging the Battery
New lanterns should be left in the sun for 1-2 days to
ensure battery is charged before placing in service.
Please note, lantern will re-charge even when switch
is turned to ‘OFF’ position.
Preferred Installation Location
For best lantern performance, ensure solar modules
are not covered and are in clear view of the sky
with no shadows.
