FCC COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
The Sensear model smartPlug headset with Bluetooth module, complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(i) This device may not cause harmful interference

FOREWORD
Product Safety and RF Exposure Compliance
This product is designed to be used in conjunction with your radio. Before using this product, read the
operating instructions for safe usage contained in the Product Safety and RF Exposure booklet enclosed
with your radio.
Battery and Charging Information
The internal battery is shipped with a nominal charge between 30 and 50% and should be stored between
-10°C (14°F) and 30°C (86°F) to minimize permanent capacity loss.
Do not charge your headset in temperatures below 0°C (32°F) or above 40°C (104°F). Conditions inside
a parked car can exceed this range. Do not store your headset in a parked car. Do not store your headset
in direct sunlight.
Storing your fully charged headset in high-temperature conditions may permanently reduce the life of the
internal battery.
Battery life may temporarily shorten in low-temperature conditions.
Warning: Never dispose of batteries in a fire because they may explode.
Note: The battery is not a user replaceable part.

The headset is an active hearing protector that allows audible contact with your surroundings while providing
protection from harmful noise.
It is recommended that the headset is fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with these instructions.
This headset should be worn at all times in noisy surroundings. The headset should be regularly inspected
for serviceability.
The smartPlug headset is supplied with disposable ear-tips that can be fitted to the ear-buds. There are three
sizes of ear-tips available with nominal diameters as follows:
S=10.5mm M=12mm L=14mm.
Warning: Small and Medium size ear tips are of ‘small size range’ or ‘large size range’. Ear-plugs complying
with EN 352-2 are of ‘medium size range’ or ‘small size range’ or ‘large size range’. ‘Medium size range’
ear-plugs will fit the majority of wearers. ‘Small size range’ or ‘large size range’ ear-plugs are designed to fit
wearers for whom ‘medium size range’ ear-plugs are not suitable.
Warning: If these instructions are not followed the protection of the headset will be severely impaired.

Warning: Noise reduction will be adversely affected by anything that impairs the seal of the earplug eartips
against the ear canal.
Warning: The reported attenuation will be obtained only if the headset is in good condition and worn as
directed (Refer to AS/NZS 1269.3 for guidance).
Warning: These ear-plugs should not be used where there is a risk that the connecting cord could be
caught up during use.
This ear-plug is provided with level-dependent attenuation. The wearer should check correct operation
before use. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer should refer to the manufacturers advice for
maintenance and replacement of the battery.
Warning: Performance may deteriorate with battery usage. The typical period of continuous use that can
be expected from the ear-plug battery is 15 hours.
Warning: The output of the level-dependent circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the daily limit
sound level.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE OF YOUR HEADSET
This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be
sought from the manufacturer.
The headset should be stored at room temperature (between 15°C/59°F and 25°C/77°F). If storing for
long periods (greater than 1 month) discharge the unit for at least 2 hours before storing for maximum
battery life.
Please note that the battery is not user replaceable. If it becomes damaged or faulty, return to a Sensear
authorised distributor for repair.

Este producto está diseñado para ser utilizado solo o en combinación con su radio bidireccional o teléfono
celular. Antes de utilizar este producto con un radio bidireccional, lea el manual de instrucciones para

bidireccional.
Información sobre batería y carga
La batería interna se entrega con una carga nominal de 30 a 50% y se debe guardar a una temperatura

El auricular smartPlug se suministra con protectores desechables que se pueden montar a los audífonos.
Hay tres tamaños de protectores disponibles con los diámetros nominales siguientes:

Advertencia: si algo afectara el sello de las puntas de los tapones auditivos contra el canal del oído, la
reducción del ruido se vería afectada.
Advertencia: se obtendrá la atenuación informada solo si los auriculares están en buenas condiciones y se
usan según las instrucciones (vea AS/NZS 1269.3 para obtener orientación).
Advertencia: estos tapones para los oídos no se deben utilizar cuando haya riesgo de que el cable de
conexión pueda engancharse durante el uso.
Los tapones para los oídos vienen con atenuación dependiente del nivel. El usuario debe verificar el
funcionamiento correcto antes de su uso. Si se detecta distorsión o no funcionan, el usuario debe consultar

Los auriculares se deben guardar a temperatura ambiente (entre 15 °C / 59 °F y 25 °C / 77 °F). Si va a
