We recommend you read this User
Guide carefully, so that you can use
all the functions of the phone fully.

access to the help system by
subject. Calling up the help for the
firsttimeafterswitchingoncantake
a few seconds, as the WAP
Browser is used to display the help.
No Internet connection is
established however.

SIM card
Insert SIM card
The Service Provider supplies you
with a SIM card on which all the
important data for your line is
stored.
IftheSIMcard hasbeendelivered in
credit card size, snap the smaller
segment out and remove any rough
edges.
•Insert SIM card under the retain-
ing ribsn. Make sure the angled
corner is in the correct position,
gold contacts pointing downward.
•Press SIM card downward oun-
til the latch engages.
•Then insert the battery (see p. 8).
Only3Volt SIMcardsaresupported.Older
SIMcards(5Volttechnology) cannotbe
used.PleasecontactyourService Provider.

Remove SIM card
•Switch off phone.
•Unlock and remove battery.
•Press latch inward puntil the
SIM card jumps out a short way.
•Remove the SIM card.

If the phone is switched on without

MultiMediaCard™
With the MultiMediaCard™, your
phoneacquiresaverylargememory.
It enables you to store numerous
addresses, MP3 music files or voice
memos. You may also use the
MultiMediaCard™like a floppy-disk
to save any other desired files.
Change the MultiMedia-
Card™
•The MultiMediaCard™is already
in the phone when it is shipped
from the factory.
•Push open the small button oppo-
site n(using a pen for example).
Remove the MultiMediaCard™
carrier from the phone o.

Addressbook are only stored on the

Call waiting
During a call you may be advised
that there is another call waiting.
You will hear a special tone during
the call. Now, you have the
following options:
Swap

place the current call on

To swap between the two
calls, press 6ZDS each
time.
Reject

caller will hear the busy
tone.

You can call another number during

You can swap back and forth
between both calls or link all callers
together in a conference.
