Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new pro-
duct. You have chosen a high-quality product. The
instructions for use are a part of this product. They
contain important information concerning safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all the operating and sa-
fety instructions. The product must only be used as
described and for the specified fields of applica-
tion. When passing this product on to third parties,
please be sure to include all documentation.
Intended use
The product is only designed to trim natural hair. It
may only be used on human hair, and not on artifi-
cial or animal hair. The product is only intended for
use indoors in private households and is not inten-
ded for commercial use or for any other use.

Never touch

ceeding 30 mA is advisable in
the electrical circuit supplying
the bathroom. Ask your installer
for advice.
Only use the original plug-in
mains adapter supplied for
mains operation.
Remove the plug-in mains
adapter from the socket
- if a malfunction occurs,
- before you clean the product,
- if you have not used the
product for a long time,
- during a thunderstorm and
- after each use.
When doing so, remove the
plug-in mains adapter directly
from the socket and do not pull
it out using the supply cord.
Avoid risk
of injury
Do not change the accessories
while the product is switched on.
Do not use the product if you
detect any kind of visible,
external damage. Never use a
damaged product.
If liquid gets into the product,
check before using the product
once more.
If you notice that the supply
cord, plug-in mains adapter,
housing or another part has

become damaged, the product
can no longer be used.
Repairs should only be carried
out by a specialist. Improper re-
pairs may result in considerable
danger to the user. This will also
make any warranty claims void.
Do not use defective attachments
with the product as these could
have sharp corners.
Defective components must al-
ways be replaced with original
spare parts. Only by using origi-
nal spare parts can you ensure
that safety requirements are
met.
Connect the plug-in mains
adapter to an outlet which is
well within reach.
Never use the product unsuper-
vised and only use it in ac-
cordance with the information
stated on the type plate.
Connect the supply cord to the
product before inserting the
plug-in mains adapter into the
socket.
The tips of the attachments are
sharp.
Switch off the product before
attaching or switching the at-
tachments, as well as before
cleaning.
Lay the supply cord so nobody
will step on or trip over it.
Do not use the product if you
have an open wound, cut, sun-
burn or blister.
Avoid the danger of
damage to property
Electrical products may pose a
hazard to animals. Animals can
also damage the product. Al-
ways keep animals away from
electrical products.
Protect the product from moisture,
drops of water and splashing
water.
Ensure that the supply cord
does not get stuck in cupboard
doors and that it is not pulled
over hot surfaces. This could
damage the supply cord‘s
insulation.
Use the original accessories
only.
Do not place the product on hot
surfaces, near hot surfaces or
near an open fire.
To prevent impermissible heating
do not cover the plug-in mains
adapter and the product during
use and charging.
Do not use any corrosive or
abrasive cleaning agents.

Keep the blade oil out of reach
of children. Do not ingest the
blade oil, do not get it into your
eyes. Keep it in a safe place if it
is not being used.

non-rechargeable batteries. Do
not short-circuit batteries/re-
chargeable batteries and/or
open them. Overheating, fire or
bursting can be the result.
Never throw batteries/recharge-
able batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads
to batteries/rechargeable
batteries.
Risk of batteries/recharge-
able batteries leakage
Avoid extreme environmental
conditions and temperatures,
which could affect batteries/
rechargeable batteries, e.g.
radiators/direct sunlight.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes
and mucous membranes. In the
event of contact with battery
acid, thoroughly flush the af-
fected area with plenty of clean
water and seek immediate
medical attention.
WEAR PROTECTIVE
GLOVES! Leaked or
damaged batteries/rechargea-
ble batteries can cause burns
on contact with the skin. Wear
suitable protective gloves at all
times if such an event occurs.
This product contains a re-
chargeable battery which can-
not be removed. The removal or
replacement of the rechargea-
ble battery may only be carried
out by the manufacturer or his
customer service or by a simi-
larly qualified person in order to
avoid hazards. When disposing
of the product, it should be
noted that this product contains
a rechargeable battery.

Before use
Note: The product may be powered using the
built-in rechargeable battery or the plug-in mains
adapter.
Remove all parts from the package.
Charging
Note: Before first use, the rechargeable battery in
the product should be charged for at least 90 mi-
nutes. A charging time of 90 minutes is also requi-
red subsequently.
The product can be charged directly or indirectly by
using the charging base 6.
Note: The charging process is shown on the
display of the charging display 9and the
battery-status display 10 .
Direct charging (see Fig. C)
To avoid injuries and damage to the product,
always switch the product off before charging
the battery (ON/OFF switch 3set to the
„0“ position).
Insert the cable plug of the plug-in mains ad-
apter 7into the socket on the underside of
the product.
Insert the plug-in mains adapter 7into a
socket which meets the product requirements.
Indirect charging (see Fig. D)
To avoid injuries and damage to the product,
always switch the product off before charging
the battery (ON/OFF switch 3set to the
„0“ position).
Connect the cable plug of the plug-in mains
adapter 7with the charging base 6.
Place the product with the cutting unit 1into
the recess of the charging base 6pointing
upwards.
Insert the plug-in mains adapter 7into a
socket which meets the product requirements.
Note: During the charging process, the red
charging display 9will light up and the battery
status display 10 will show the battery level.
Note: As soon as the battery is charged, the
battery status display 10 will switch off, while the
charging display 9will continue to be red.
Note: You can use the product for up to approx.
60 minutes with a full battery without it being
connected to the power supply.
Note: When the battery is almost empty, the char-
ging display 9on the display will flash. Then, the
product may only be used for a short period of
time without being connected to the power supply.
Operating using the plug-in mains adapter
If the product stops working during use due to an
empty or insufficient battery, you can continue if
the plug-in mains adapter is connected.
Insert the cable plug of the plug-in mains ad-
apter 7into the socket on the underside of
the product.
To avoid injuries and damage to the product,
always switch the product off before connec-
ting to the plug-in mains adapter 7.
Insert the plug-in mains adapter 7into a so-
cket which meets the product requirements.
After a few seconds you can switch on the pro-
duct by sliding the ON/OFF switch 3into
the desired position for the desired speed. If
the product does not start working immedia-
tely, switch it off by sliding the ON/OFF
switch 3to the „0“ position. Wait approx.
1 minute before you try to switch it on again.
Oiling the blades
It is recommended that you oil the blades before
first use and after cleaning to guarantee complete
functionality (see Fig. E).
Apply one or two drops of blade oil 14 bet-
ween the blades and distribute them evenly.
Wipe away any excess oil using a cloth.
You can also use any acid-free oil such as
sewing machine oil.

Note: The blades can be oiled with or
without comb attachment 11 and thinning
attachment 12 .
Operation
Changing the attachments
Carefully place the desired comb attachment
11 onto the product as depicted in Fig. F. En-
sure that both recesses of the comb attachment
11 properly engage into the lateral detents at
both sides above the cutting unit 1.
To remove the comb attachment 11 , press and
slide it forward and upwards using both
thumbs, as depicted in Fig. G.
Setting the trim length
To set different trim lengths, hold the upper part
of the product 2and twist the lower part of
the product 5into the desired position
(0.8–2.0mm). The set trim length will be dis-
played on the length position indicator 4
which aligns with the dot-marking on the upper
part of the product 2.
Trimming hair
Note: The hair being trimmed should be clean,
dry and untangled.
Carefully comb the hair using the supplied
comb 17 to disentangle any potential knots.
Place the hairdressing cape 15 around the
neck and nape to prevent bits of hair from
falling into the collar.
Begin by using the longer comb attachment 11
and trim the hair gradually to the desired length.
Note that the desired trim length can only be
achieved if the product is held perpendicularly
to the skin‘s surface.
Avoid making sudden movements when trim-
ming.
Switch the product on by sliding the ON/OFF
switch 3to the „I“ position. To maximize per-
formance, slide the ON/OFF switch 3to the
„Turbo“ position. The Turbo display 8will
appear on the display if this is the case.
Always trim from the nape in the direction of
the top of the head, or from the forehead and
temples towards the centre of the head.
Guide the product slowly and steadily through
the hair. If possible, trim against the direction
of the hair‘s growth.
While doing so, hold the product in such a
way that the selected comb attachment 11 is
positioned as level as possible.
Move the product over the head several times
to collect all of the hair. To achieve a straight
line, move the product through the hair several
times from different directions.
Comb the hair repeatedly.
You can graduate the desired trim length of
the comb attachment 11 more accurately by
rotating the lower part of the product 5ac-
cording to length position indicator 4. These
gradations differ by 0.3 mm.
Example:
Comb attachment 3.0 mm (trim length
3.8–5mm):
Furthermost left
position (0.8mm): short hair (3.8mm)
Middle
position (1.4mm): mid-length hair (4.4mm)
Furthermost right
position (2.0mm): long hair (5.0mm)

Note: Ensure that you move the product away
from the hairline and slowly push it downwards.
Note: The scissors 18 supplied may be used for
additional styling.
Thinning hair
Note: Using this function you can reduce the
volume of the hair by collecting and cutting only
some of it off.
Place the thinning attachment 12 onto the pro-
duct as described in the chapter „Changing
the attachments.“
Note: The thinning attachment 12 prevents
every hair from being cut.
Trimming beards
Note that the desired trim length can only be
achieved if the product is held perpendicularly
to the skin‘s surface.
Comb the beard using the supplied comb 17
in its direction of growth.
Shorten the beard downwards from the ear to
the chin, one side after the other.
Use the cutting unit 1without the comb
attachment 11 to trim the beard very short or
to trim a moustache or hairline.
Graduate the desired trim length by rotating
the lower part of the product 5according to
length position indicator 4. The trim length
may be set to 5 different levels (0.8 mm/
1.1 mm/1.4 mm/1.7 mm/2.0 mm).
To trim a moustache, firstly comb it straight
downwards. Begin in the centre above the
mouth, then one side and then the other.
Cleaning and care
CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Pull the plug-in mains adapter 7
out of the mains socket before cleaning the
product.
Never touch the plug-in mains adapter 7with
moist or wet hands, especially when you plug
it into the socket or pull it out of the socket.
Always keep the plug-in mains adapter 7
and supply cord dry.
CAUTION! RISK OF PROPERTY DA-
MAGE! Do not submerge the product in
water or any other liquid to clean it as the pro-
duct is not waterproof. This could damage the
live parts (rechargeable batteries).
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents.
Clean the housing and the charging base 6
using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
Switch the product off by sliding the ON/OFF
switch 3to the „0“ position.
Disconnect the supply cord from the product
and remove the plug-in mains adapter 7from
the mains socket.

Remove the comb attachment 11 , the thinning
attachment 12 or the cutting unit 1from the
product (see Fig. G+H).
Wash the comb attachment 11 , the thinning
attachment 12 or the cutting unit 1with run-
ning water if necessary.
Dry the comb attachment 11 or the thinning
attachment 12 .
Remove the cutting unit 1(see Fig. H).
Remove any remaining bits of hair from the
cutting unit 1using the cleaning brush 13
provided (see Fig. I).
Apply one or two drops of blade oil 14
between the blades and the moving parts
(see Fig. J).
Adjust the length position indicator 4to
2.0mm after you have finished cleaning the
product, before once more attaching the
cutting unit 1to the product (see Fig. K).
Note: Clean the cutting unit 1, comb attach-
ment 11 and thinning attachment 12 after
every use.
Storage
Place the product in the charging base 6if
you wish to store it. Alternatively, you can also
store it in the travel case 16 provided.

The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.
The Green Dot is not valid for Germany.

Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with following meaning:
1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and fibre-
board/80–98: composite materials.
The product and packaging materials
are recyclable, dispose of it separately
for better waste treatment. The Triman
logo is valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal au-
thority for more details of how to dis-
pose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please
dispose of the product properly when it
has reached the end of its useful life
and not in the household waste. Infor-
mation on collection points and their
opening hours can be obtained from
your local authority.
Defective or exhausted rechargeable batteries
must be recycled in accordance with Directive
2006/66/EC and its amendments. Return the bat-
tery and/or the product through the appropriate
collection facilities.
Improper disposal of rechargea-
ble batteries can damage the
environment!
Rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of
with the household refuse. They may contain toxic
heavy metals and require to be handled as special
waste. The chemical symbols of heavy metals are:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is

why you should dispose of used batteries at a lo-
cal collection point.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict qua-
lity guidelines and meticulously examined before
delivery. In the event of product defects you have
legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your
legal rights are not limited in any way by our
warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the
date of purchase. Should this product show any
fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years
from the date of purchase, we will repair or re-
place it – at our choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of
purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in
a safe location. This document is required as your
proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if
the product has been damaged, or used or main-
tained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or ma-
nufacture. This warranty does not cover product
parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly consi-
dered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage
to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batte-
ries or glass parts.

KISGYERMEKEK ÉS GYER-
MEKEK SZÁMÁRA! Soha ne
hagyja a gyerekeket felügyelet
nélkül a csomagolóanyaggal.
Fulladás veszélye áll fenn.
A gyerekek gyakran alábecsülik
a veszélyeket. Tartsa távol a cso-
magolóanyagot a gyerekektől.
VIGYÁZAT! Ez a termék nem
gyerekjáték! A gyerekek nem
képesek azokat a veszélyeket
felismerni, amelyek az elektromos
készülék kezelése során fellép-
hetnek.
A terméket 8 éves kor feletti
gyermekek, valamint korlátozott
fizikai, érzékszervi vagy szellemi
képességgel élő vagy nem meg-
felelő tapasztalattal és tudással
rendelkező személyek csak fel-
ügyelet mellett, illetve a termék
biztonságos használatára vonat-
kozó felvilágosítás és a lehetséges
veszélyek megértése után hasz-
nálhatják. A gyermekek nem
játszhatnak a termékkel. A tisztí-
tást és az ápolást gyermekek
felügyelet nélkül nem végezhetik.

Kerülje az áramütés
általi életveszélyt
Tartsa
szárazon a terméket.
Ne használja a készüléket
fürdőkádak, mosdók, vagy más
folyadékokkal töltött edények
közelében.
Ha a termék vízbe esik, minden-
képpen először húzza ki a kon-
nektorból a hálózati csatlakozót,
mielőtt a vízbe nyúl.
Soha
ne fogja meg a csatlakozódugót
vizes kézzel, főleg akkor ne, ha
a konnektorba akarja bedugni,
vagy ki akarja húzni.
Soha
nem merítse vízbe, vagy más
folyadékba, illetve ne öblítse le
folyó víz alatt a terméket, valamint
a hálózati vezetéket a dugóval
és a töltőállomást.
Ne használja a terméket fürdés
közben.
Kiegészítő védelemként egy
legfeljebb 30 mA-es névleges
hibaáram-védőberendezésnek
(FI/RCD-relé) a fürdőszoba
áramkörébe való beszerelését
ajánljuk. Kérje ki a szakember
tanácsát.
A hálózati üzemeléshez csak a
mellékelt eredeti hálózati csatla-
kozódugót használja.
Húzza ki a csatlakozódugót a
konnektorból
- ha hiba lépett fel,
- mielőtt tisztítja a terméket,
- ha hosszabb ideig nem hasz-
nálja a terméket,
- vihar esetén és
- minden használat után.
Ennek során mindig közvetlenül
a dugót húzza és ne a vezetéket.
Kerülje a
sérülésveszélyt
Ne cserélje a tartozékokat, amíg
a termék be van kapcsolva.
Ne használja a terméket, ha
bármiféle látható külső károso-
dást fedez fel rajta. Ne üzemel-
tessen sérült készüléket.
Ha folyadék kerül a termékbe,
ellenőrizze azt az újabb hasz-
nálat előtt.

Ha sérülést észlel a vezetéken,
a dugón, a burkolaton, vagy
valamely más részen, akkor
nem szabad tovább használni
a terméket.
Javításokat csak szakkereske-
déssel végeztessen. A szaksze-
rűtlen javítások következtében a
felhasználó számára jelentős
veszélyek állnak fenn. Különben
mindennemű garanciaigény
érvényét veszti.
Ne használja a terméket hibás
feltéttel, mivel annak szélei élesek
lehetnek.
A hibás alkatrészeket ki kell
cserélni. A biztonsági követelmé-
nyek csak úgy biztosíthatóak, ha
eredeti alkatrészt használnak.
Csak könnyen elérhető konnek-
torba dugja a csatlakozót.
Soha ne üzemeltesse a terméket
felügyelet nélkül és mindig tartsa
be az típustáblán található
adatokat.
Csatlakoztassa a hálózati adap-
tert a termékhez, mielőtt bedugja
azt a konnektorba.
A feltétek hegye erős.
A terméket mindig kapcsolja ki,
mielőtt kicseréli a feltétet, vagy
tisztítja a terméket.
Úgy helyezze el a hálózati
kábelt, hogy arra senki ne
léphessen rá és senki ne botol-
hasson meg benne.
Ne használja a terméket nyílt
seben, vágási sérülésen, napé-
gette bőrön és hólyagon.
Kerülje az anyagi
károk veszélyét
Az elektromos termékek veszélyt
jelenthetnek az állatok számára.
Emellett az állatok is károsíthat-
ják a terméket. Mindig tartsa tá-
vol az állatokat az elektromos
termékektől.
Óvja a terméket nedvességtől,
vízcseppektől és fröccsenő víztől.
Ügyeljen arra, hogy a vezeték
ne csípődjön be szekrényajtóba,
vagy ne kerüljön forró felületekre.
Ellenkező esetben károsodhat a
hálózati vezeték szigetelése.
Csak eredeti tartozékokat hasz-
náljon.
Ne állítsa a terméket forró felü-
letekre, forró felületek, vagy nyílt
láng közelébe.
Ne fedje le a termék hálózati
csatlakozóját, hogy elkerülje a
felmelegedést a használat és a
töltés közben.
A tisztításához ne használjon
súroló hatású, vagy eltömítő
hatású tisztítószereket.
