2. Intended purpose
The multi chopper is intended exclusively for
chopping food.
The device is designed for private, domestic
use. The device must only be used indoors.
This device must not be used for commercial
purposes.
Foreseeable misuse
WARNING Risk of material damage!
~Do not use the multi chopper for pro-
cessing especially hard foodstuffs, such
as frozen food, bones, nutmeg, cereals
or coffee beans.
3. Safety information
Warnings
If necessary, the following warnings are

ry to life and limb.

Instructions for safe operation
~ This device must not be used by children.
~ Children must not play with the device.
~ The device and the power cable must be kept away from children.
~ This device can be used by people with restricted physical, sensory
or intellectual abilities or people without adequate experience
and/or understanding if they are supervised or instructed on how
to use this device safely and if they are aware of the resulting haz-
ards.
~ If the mains power cable of this device should become damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's customer
service department or a similarly qualified specialist, in order to
avoid any hazards.
~ Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket …
… when it is not supervised,
… before you assemble or disassemble the device, and
… before you clean the individual parts.
~ This device is not intended to be operated using an external timer
or a separate remote control system.
~ Improper use of the device may result in injuries.
~ The blades of the blade assembly are sharp. Handle them with
care, particularly when removing food from the container and dur-
ing cleaning. When washing manually, the water should be suffi-
ciently clear that you can see the blades easily.
~ Please take note of the chapter on cleaning (see “Cleaning” on
page 9).
~ The device is designed for a maximum continuous operating time
of 30 seconds. After this, the device must remain switched off until
it has cooled down to room temperature.
~ Fill the container at least up to the marking for 200 ml. The maxi-
mum filling level is 500 ml for liquids. For solid food, please orien-
tate yourself on the guidelines in these instructions.

DANGER for children
~Packing materials are not children's
toys. Children should not be allowed to
play with the plastic bags: there is a risk
of suffocation.
~Keep the device out of the reach of chil-
dren.
DANGER to and from pets
and livestock
~Electrical devices can represent a dan-
ger to pets and livestock. In addition,
animals can also cause damage to the
device. For this reason you should keep
animals away from electrical devices at
all times.
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock due to moisture
~The device must never be operated in
the vicinity of a sink full of water or simi-
lar.
~The motor unit, the power cable and the
mains plug must not be immersed in wa-
ter or other liquids.
~Protect the motor unit from moisture and
dripping or water splashes.
~If liquid gets into the device, disconnect
the mains plug immediately. Have the
device checked before reusing.
~Never touch the device with wet hands.
~If the device falls into water, disconnect
the mains plug immediately. Only then
is it safe to retrieve the device.
~Fill the container with a maximum of
500 ml of liquid in order to prevent liq-
uid from getting into the motor unit.
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock
~Only plug the mains plug into the wall
socket after the device has been com-
pletely assembled.
~Only connect the mains plug to a prop-
erly installed and easily accessible wall
socket whose voltage corresponds to
the specifications on the rating plate.
The wall socket must still be easily ac-
cessible after the device is plugged in.
~Ensure that the power cable cannot be
damaged by sharp edges or hot spots.
~Even after it has been switched off, the
device is not completely disconnected
from the mains. In order to fully discon-
nect it, pull out the mains plug.
~When using the device, ensure that the
power cable cannot be trapped or
crushed.
~When removing the mains plug from the
wall socket, always pull on the plug and
never the cable.
~Disconnect the mains plug from the wall
socket …
… if there is a fault,
… when you are not using the multi
chopper,
… during thunderstorms.
~Do not use the device if there is visible
damage to the device or the power ca-
ble.
~
In order to avoid any hazards, do not
make modifications to the device.

DANGER! Risk of injury
from cutting
~The blades of the blade assembly are
sharp. Please be very careful when han-
dling them. When washing manually,
the water should be sufficiently clear
that you can see the blades easily.
~The multi chopper must never be operat-
ed without a container.
~Never reach into the rotating blades.
~The blade assembly continues to rotate
after the device is switched off. Wait for
it to stop moving before you remove the
working cover.
WARNING! Risk of material
damage
~In order to prevent damage to the de-
vice, interrupt operation immediately if
the blade assembly is either turning with
difficulty or not turning at all. Pull out the
mains plug and check whether there is
something in the container blocking
movement or whether the food is too
tough or too hard. Also check that the
device is assembled correctly.
~The maximum filling level is 500 ml for
liquids. For solid food, please orientate
yourself on the guidelines in these in-
structions.
~Switch off the device before you pull out
the mains plug.
~Never place the device on hot surfaces
(e.g. hot plates) or near to heat sources
or open fire.
~Do not operate the multi chopper when
it is empty, as this causes the motor to
overheat which may result in it being
damaged. Fill the container at least up
to the marking for 200 ml.
~Only use the original accessories.
~
All parts except for the motor unit are
dishwasher-safe up to 70 °C.
~Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
~The device is equipped with an anti-slip
mat made from silicone. As furniture is
coated with a variety of different var-
nishes and plastics, and is treated with
different cleaning agents, it cannot be
completely ruled out that components
are contained in some of these sub-
stances which could damage and soften
the anti-slip mat. If necessary, place a
non-slip mat under the device.

5. How to use
• Remove all packing materials.
• Check to ensure that all parts are pres-
ent and undamaged.
•Clean the device prior to first
use! (see “Cleaning” on page 9).

6. Operation
Application area
The multi chopper is suitable for chopping
solid foods, e.g. onions, carrots, cheese,
nuts.
CAUTION:
~Due to their exceptional hardness nut-
megs may not be chopped.
Preparing food
• Fill the container7 ...
… at least up to the marking for
200 ml.
… with a maximum of 500 ml of
liquid.
… with solid food according to
the guidelines in section “Pro-
cessing table”.
• Rinse or wash the food.
• Cut the food into small cubes
(approx. 2 - 3 cm edge length).
• Remove the outer shell from nuts. The inner
shell can be used if so desired, e.g. with al-
monds.
• Free herbs from their stems.
• Separate the bones from meat and re-
move sinews and skin.
Processing table
NOTE: the processing times and speeds
specified here are guidelines.
• Depending on the quantities and consist-
ency of the foods, the actual values may
differ.
• Repeatedly check the results, depending
on how small you want to chop the
food.
• Work using short pulses (1 pulse: press
for approx. 1 second).

6.1 Assembling the multi
chopper
CAUTION:
~Depending on the hardness and consist-
ency of the food, do not fill the contain-
er7up to the MAX10 marking, as
this can cause the blade assembly6to
become blocked. Pay attention here to
the guideline values for various foods in
section “Processing table”.
1. Place the container7on the anti-slip
mat11.
2. Place the blade assembly6on the
peg9in the container7.
3. Fill the prepared food into the contain-
er7.
4. Place the working cover5onto the con-
tainer7in such a way that the blade
assembly6protrudes a little through the
opening in the working cover5.
5. Figure A: place the motor unit4onto
the working cover5. Rotate and jiggle
the motor unit4back and forth a little
until it sits firmly on the blade assem-
bly6and working cover5.
6. Insert the mains plug1into a wall sock-
et corresponding to the technical data.
6.2 Chopping
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
~The multi chopper is designed for a
maximum operating time of 30 seconds
without interruption.
After this, the device must remain
switched off until it has cooled down to
room temperature.
•Figure B: for chopping, hold down the
button I2or the button II3.
• To switch off, release the pressed button
I2/ II3.
• Work using short pulses (1 pulse: press
for approx. 1 second).
The number and
length of the pulses will depend on the
quantity and consistency of the food. See
the specifications given in section “
Pro-
cessing table”.
• Repeatedly check the result. If the food
is not being chopped evenly:
- Release the button I2/ II3.
- Pull out the mains plug1.
- Thoroughly shake the container7.
- If food is sticking to the inside wall of
the container, remove the motor unit4
and the working cover5. Push the
pieces downwards using a spatula.
- Put all the pieces back together be-
fore you reinsert the mains plug1into
a wall socket and resume processing.
6.3 Remove food and
disassemble the multi
chopper
1. Disconnect the mains plug1from the
wall socket and wait for the standstill of
the blade assembly6.
2. Remove the motor unit4and the work-
ing cover5.
3. Remove the blade assembly6carefully
from the container7.
4. Remove the food, e.g. using a spatula.
5. Clean the device as soon as possible af-
ter use.
