Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part of
this product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instruc-
tions. Use the product only as described and for the specified areas of applica-
tion. Please also pass on these operating instructions to any future owner.
Intended use
This appliance has been designed for the juicing of well ripened and peeled
fruits and vegetables. The appliance may only be used to process foods. Use
only the original attachments and accessories as described. Any other uses of or
modification to the appliance is deemed to be improper and carries the risk of
serious personal injury. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage
attributable to misuse. This appliance is intended solely for use in private house-
holds. Not for commercial use.

All parts of this appliance which come into contact
with food are food-safe.
CO time
The CO time (continuous operation time) is the amount of time an appliance can
be operated without the motor overheating and becoming damaged. After the
appliance has been operated for this duration of time, switch it off until the motor
has cooled down.

DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► The voltage of the power source must conform to the details
given on the type plate of the appliance.
► To avoid potential risks, if the appliance power cable is dam-
aged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer
service or by a qualified technician.
► Appliances which do not work properly or have been
damaged must be checked immediately and repaired by
customer service.
► Do not expose the appliance to rain, and never use it in
a humid or wet environment. Ensure that the power cable
never becomes wet or moist during use.
Never immerse the base of the machine in water or
other liquids!

► Never use the appliance for purposes other than those
described in these instructions.
► The appliance should always be disconnected from the
mains when unattended and before assembly, disassembly
or cleaning.
► This appliance may not be used by children.
► The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away
from children.
► This appliance may be used by persons with lim-
ited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge, provided that they are under
supervision or have been told how to use the appliance
safely and are aware of the potential risks.
► Children must not use the appliance as a plaything.
► The appliance may not be used if the rotating filter is damaged!

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Before changing any accessories or additional parts that
move during operation, the appliance must be switched off
and disconnected from mains power.
► The blades are very sharp. Handle them with care.
► Do not operate the appliance if the rotating sieve is
damaged.
► To prevent injuries, ensure that all parts are inserted correctly.
Never put your hands or other objects into the filler
opening. This could lead to grave personal injuries or
serious damage to the appliance. If pieces of fruit or
vegetable cannot be removed with the pusher, switch the
appliance off, remove the plug from the power socket
and open the appliance.
► Ensure that the power plug is easily accessible in case of
emergency, and that there is no risk of tripping over the
cable.
► Switch off the appliance and unplug it after use. Do not
dismantle the appliance until the motor has come to a
complete standstill.
► Do not touch any rotating parts.
► Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
► Provide a stable location for the appliance.
► Do not operate the device if the filter, the power cable or
the plug is damaged.
► Do not operate the appliance in the event of any
malfunctions or if it has been damaged in any other way
or has been dropped.
► The use of accessories that have not been recommended or
sold by the manufacturer can cause a fire, electric shock or
injury.

Tips for safety:
► In case of danger, remove the plug from the socket
immediately.
► Remain alert at all times! Always pay attention to what
you are doing and act with common sense. Never use the
appliance when you are distracted or don’t feel well.
► Ensure that the appliance is completely assembled before
using it for the first time. The appliance can only be started
up once the clamps have been closed. Should the clamps
become loose during operation, the appliance stops auto-
matically.
► After using the juicer, always ensure that the on/off switch is
in the "OFF" position ("0"). Do not dismantle the appliance
until the motor has come to a complete standstill.
► Do not use the appliance outdoors.
NOTE
► No user action is required to switch the product between
50and 60Hz. The product adapts automatically to either
50or 60Hz.

Assembling and operating the appliance
■ Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all component parts
thoroughly as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.
■ Select a safe and secure positioning for the juicer. For optimal handling we
recommend that the appliance is positioned with the power cable 8running
from the rear of the appliance to the wall socket. All operating elements can
now be directly and easily handled:
–the On/Off switch 9at the front,
–the container for fruit and vegetable pulp qon the left,
–the juice outlet 6on the right.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Ensure that the appliance is switched off and the plug 8removed from the
wall socket before assembling the appliance.
1) Place the juice tank 5on the appliance base 7, so that the three catches
and the juice outlet 6grip into in the recesses.
2) Place the filter won the drive shaft eand press it down so that it audibly
clicks into place. Ensure that it is firmly seated before continuing with the
assembly.
3) Slide the container for fruit and vegetable pulp qfrom below under the
outlet (see fold-out page).
4) Place the lid 3onto the juice tank 5, so that the feed tube 2is sitting
above the blades of the filter w.
5) Ensure that the lid 3is sitting firmly in the recess on the juice tank 5.
Lift the clamps 4and clip them into the notches on the lid 3.
6) Press the lower part of the clamps 4against the appliance until they click
into place.
7) Push the foam separator zinto the juice collector tand put the lid on.
Place the separate juice collector tnext to the appliance so that the juice
outlet 6protrudes into the separate juice collector t.
8) Insert the plug 8into a mains power socket.
