HOW TO OPERATE MICROPHONE
1. Remove mike from enclosure and
press (and hold) microphone switch.
•Chime tone will sound three times.
2. Wait for green “READY TO TALK”
LED to light.
3. Make appropriate announcement.
•Releasing microphone switch
restarts tone or message if tone or
message was previously selected.
4. When finished, replace mike in
enclosure.
HOW TO INITIATE AN
EVACUATION SIGNAL
1. TO EVACUATE ALL AREAS: Flip
up MANUAL EVAC switch.
•Red “MANUAL EVAC” LED lights
to indicate that EVAC message is
playing on all speakers.
2. To make an announcement with
mike, see “How to Operate
Microphone” instructions shown
above.
HOW TO SILENCE AN
EVACUATION SIGNAL
1. To silence speakers, flip up
MANUAL EVAC switch again.
•Red “MANUAL EVAC” LED turns
OFF and speakers silence.
HOW TO INITIATE AN ALL CLEAR
SIGNAL
1. TO ALL AREAS: Flip up ALL
CLEAR switch.
•Red “ALL CLEAR” LED lights to
indicate that ALL CLEAR
message is playing on all
speakers.
2. To silence speakers, flip up ALL
CLEAR switch again.
•Red “ALL CLEAR” LED turns OFF
and speakers silence.

indicate that ALL CLEAR
message is playing on all
speakers.
2. To silence speakers, flip up ALL
CLEAR switch again.
•Red “ALL CLEAR” LED turns OFF
and speakers silence.
