DOL 534/535/539 in Wiring Box
1 Product description
The DOL 534/535/539 kit includes CPU, PCB and various parts for installation in a wiring box.
Please follow the below mounting and installation guide. The completed cabinet corresponds to the base
construction of the plastic cabinet and gathers the electrics in one wiring box.
2 Installation guide
2.1 Electrical connection
Qualified personnel must perform installation, service and fault-finding of all electrical
equipment in accordance with the applicable national and international standard EN 60204-1 and
any other EU standards that are applicable in Europe.
The installation of a power supply isolator is required for each motor and power supply to
facilitate voltage-free work on the electrical equipment. SKOV A/S does not supply the power
supply isolator.
2.2 Mounting the PCBs
1. Mount the PCBs included on the TS 35 DIN rails (not included) which are spaced 205 mm apart. At the
SMPS (power supply) the distance must 112.5 mm.
2. Mount clips including 15 mm stud on the DIN rails and adapt position to the PCBs. Use M4 x 8 screws
to mount the PCBs.
3. Mount 22 mm stud using M4 x 8 to support printed circuit board.

2.3 Positioning of PCBs
Place the PCBs in accordance with the below sketch.

2.4 Mounting of I/O module in more levels
Correct order for mounting of I/O module in more levels:
1. Mount four 13 mm studs in the plastic studs underneath the circuit board.
2. In the right side of the circuit board, mount two 25 mm studs on top of the 13 mm studs.
3. In the left side of the circuit board, mount two 25 mm studs with knee on top of the 13 mm studs.
4. Place the support rail on top of the 25 mm studs with knee.
5. Mount the circuit board with M4 x 8 screws.

2.5 Protective earthing (PE)
Length of protective earthings:
1. 150 to 200 mm.
2. 150 to 200 mm or slightly more.
3. 1000 mm.

2.6 Cable installation
The flat cable included and the wires to the triac module are fastened to the bottom section of the wiring box by
means of self-adhesive clip and cable ties.
Please note:
1. Keep a distance of minimum 5mm between ribbon cables and other wires
2. The cable ties are not to be tightened around cables and wires (only intended to keep them in place).
3. Do not run wires over or under the PCBs.
4. Run the wires connected to the relay terminals as close as possible to the PCB with the relay terminals.
This way, the greatest possible distance is obtained to the adjacent PCB.

2.7 Protection against direct contact
The PCBs can be protected against direct contact by mounting clips including 110 mm stud on a TS 35 DIN
rail. On this you mount a transparent protection plate (not included) by means of M4 x 14 screws.

2.8 Mounting the front module
Mount the front module with display and PCB in the door of the wiring box by means of (included) self-
tapping PT 4 x 10 screws. The thickness of the door must be at least 1.5 mm.
Make the cutout 7” in the door in accordance with the enclosed DOL 539/534/535 template 604141 (from the
front of the door).
