ABOUT HFX-LT
The HFX-LT is a Single Head HDMI (3840 x 2160), USB
2.0, USB keyboard-mouse and stereo audio extender,
sending signals up to 10 km (6.2 miles) away over a single
conventional and inexpensive a dual ber cable. This new
technology is superior to older HDMI extenders that require
a special dual ber shielded cable to go a short distance.
The HFX-LT is the rst extender on the market to feature
3840 x 2160, USB 2.0 and full KVM extension on one
cohesive system and is optimized for Full HD monitors with
crystal-clear picture; excellent for detail driven work.
The HFX-LT extends keyboard-mouse signals for remote
workow management and offers uninterrupted emulation
from the user’s transmitter unit. This uninterrupted
emulation prevents accidental disconnection or
deactivation issues during mission critical operations. The
HFX-LT‘s unparalleled KVM extension technology makes it
the perfect solution for extending servers in applications
ranging from data processing to interactive conferencing.

1. Ensure that power is turned off or disconnected from the unit and the computers.
2. Use a HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output port from a computer to the HDMI IN port of the transmitter.
3. Use a USB cable (Type-A to Type-B) to connect a USB port on the computer to the respective USB port of the transmitter.
4. Optionally connect a stereo audio cable (3.5mm to 3.5mm) to connect the audio output of the computer to the AUDIO IN
port of the transmitter.
5. Connect the transmitter and receiver to each other using a single-mode duplex ber optic cable.
6. Connect a monitor to the HDMI OUT console port of the receiver using a HDMI cable.
7. Connect a USB keyboard and mouse to the two USB console ports of the receiver.
8. Optionally connect peripheral USB devices, such as a printer or a camera to the other two USB console ports of the
receiver.
9. Optionally connect stereo speakers to the AUDIO OUT port of the receiver.
10. Finally, power on the transmitter and receiver by connecting a 5VDC power supply to the power connector, and then turn
on the computer.
