Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
1. Entfernen der Batterielasche
Um das Gerät anzuschalten, muss die Lasche an der Seite des Gerätes
entfernt werden (Abb. 1). Achten Sie vor herausziehen der Lasche da-
rauf, dass das Gateway angeschaltet ist. Bitte die Lasche vorsichtig
herausziehen. Nachdem Sie die Lasche entfernt haben, schaltet sich das
Gerät ein. Die drei LED‘s leuchten 5 Sekunden schnell hintereinander
auf. Daraufhin fangen diese an zu blinken. Dies bedeutet, dass das
Gerät auf Einstellungsinformationen über das Gateway wartet.
2. Umhängeschnur einsetzen
Sie können Ihren smartLAB® move ganz einfach mit der mitgelieferten
Umhängeschnur um den Hals tragen. Dazu müssen Sie die Schnur erst
am Gerät befestigen. Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

Schieben Sie das dünnere Ende der Schnur durch die zwei kleinen Ösen
auf der Seite des Gerätes (Abb. 2). Drücken Sie die Schnur dazu so eng
wie möglich zusammen - dies erleichtert das Durchschieben (Abb. 3).
Danach schieben Sie das dickere Ende der Schnur durch die Schlau-
fe am dünneren Ende und ziehen die Schnur so lange durch, bis die
Schlaufe fest sitzt (Abb. 4).
3. Austausch der Batterie
Um die Batterie austauschen zu können, öffnen Sie den Batteriedeckel
durch drehen des Deckels mit einer Münze in die vorgegebene Pfeilrich-
tung (Abb. 5). Entnehmen Sie vorsichtig die eingelegte Batterie aus
dem Gerät und legen Sie die neue Batterie mit der Plusseite zum Deckel

in den Deckel ein. Danach legen Sie den Deckel wieder in das Gerät ein
und schließen diesen durch drehen des Deckels mit einer Münze.

Europäisches Gesetz am 13. Februar 2003 in Kraft trat, führte zu einer
umfassenden Änderung bei der Enstorgung ausgedienter Elektrogeräte.
Der vornehmliche Zweck dieser Direktive ist die Vermeidung
von Elektroschrott (WEEE) bei gleichzeitiger Förderung der
Wiederverwendung, des Recyclings und anderer Formen der
Wiederaufbereitung, um Müll zu reduzieren.
RoHS-Einhaltung
Dieses Produkt entspricht der Direktive 2002/95/EC des Europäischen
Parlaments und des Rats vom 27. Januar 2003, bezüglich der
beschränkten Verwendung gefährlicher Substanzen in elektrischen und
elektronischen Geräten (RoHS), sowie seiner Abwandlungen.
Das WEEE-Logo auf dem Produkt und auf der Verpackung weist darauf hin, dass
das Produkt nicht im normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden darf. Sie sind dafür
verantwortlich, alle ausgedienten elektrischen und elektronischen Geräte an
entsprechenden Sammelstellen abzuliefern. Eine getrennte Sammlung und
sinnvolle Wiederverwertung von Elektroschrott hilft dabei, sparsamer mit den
natürlichen Ressourcen umzugehen. Des Weiteren ist die Wiederverwertung des
Elektroschrotts ein Beitrag, unsere Umwelt und damit auch die Gesundheit aller

Before the rst use
1. Remove the battery lash
To turn on the device, you need to remove the lash on the side of the
device (pict 1). Please make sure that your gateway is turned on.
Please remove the battery lash carefully. After removal the device will
turn on. The three LEDs will light up after each other several times for
5 seconds. Then the LEDs will start blinking which indicates that the
device is trying to communicate with the gateway to set the device.
2. Mounting the carrying cord
You can wear your smartLAB® move with the carrying cord included in
the set. To do so, you will have to connect the cord to the device by
doing the following steps:

Push the thin end of the cord through the two tiny eyes at the back
side of the device (pict 2). Pushing together the cord a little bit makes
it easier to squeeze it through them (pic. 3). After that, push the
thicker end of the cord through the loop on the thin end and pull it
tight (pic. 4).
3. Exchanging the Batteries
To exchange the batterie you need to open the battery lid with a coin
in direction of the arrow (pict 5). Remove the battery carefully and
insert the new battery into the battery lid with the plus side to the lid.
Then close the lid by using the coin again.

The WEEE logo on the product and the packaging indicates that it is not allowed to
dispose of the product in the ordinary household waste. It is your responsibility to
deliver all the disused electrical and electronic equipment to the respective collection
points. A separate collection and proper recycling of electronic waste helps dealing
economically with natural resources. Furthermore, the recycling of electrical waste is a
contribution to the conservation of our environment and thus the health of all people.

you can get from the local authorities, waste disposal companies, from retailers and
