Initial Setup of Slot-In
When powered on for the rst time, or after a factory reset, the DWR-S03D will be set to output in analog mode.
When using the DWR-S03D with an SL-2, this has to be switched to digital. When on the ‘Main’ display, as per
below diagram (ndable using ‘Menu Select’), press Minus (-) until Audio Output is displayed. Hold ‘Set’ to edit, use
Plus (+) to nd Digital and press ‘Set’ to conrm.

Pairing Txs to Rx
Using Crossremote, you can control many of the parameters within a Tx from the Rx top panel or within a Sound
Devices 8-series mixer. This link is across a separate 2.4gHz network generated by the Rx and a data pairing has
to be established.

The Receiver will scan for the name of the Tx. Once found, press ‘Set’ and the data link will be established. You

Superslot™ Tx Options Menu
1. Power Save – Allows Tx to go in and out of Sleep mode
2. +48V Phantom – Only applicable to DWT-P01N Plug-On
Transmitter
3. Button Lock – Disable Settings and/or Power switch on Tx
4. Attenuation – Real-time control of Tx attenuation in 3dB steps
from 0dB to 48dB. Attenuation is a negative gure, the higher the
number, the quieter the signal will be
5. Low Cut Filter – Real-time control of LCF up to 220Hz
6. RF Power – Switchable 2/10/25mW power. (25mW has to be
enabled on Tx as an option)
7. Sync Band/GP/CH – If a change in frequency is made to the Rx,
this control sends the ‘Change Frequency’ signal to the Tx
8. Sync Codec Mode – If a change in Codec mode is made to the
Rx, this control sends a ‘Change Codec’ signal to the Tx

If your Tx is out of range of Crossremote, you can change parameters manually.
Power on the Tx whilst holding down the ‘Set’ button. This puts the unit into a ‘soft start’ mode where it does not
transmit, this can be seen by the lack of antenna logo on the display.
Controlling Tx manually
Once the parameter has been set, power cycle the Tx and the antenna logo should
reappear, meaning it is now transmitting.

Key Features:
Holding ‘Menu Select’ and ‘Set’ at any time brings up the ‘Auto Scan/Sync’ function. This performs a scan of the
entire frequency spectrum of the receiver and nds the best 1 or 2 frequencies available (depending on how many
Crossremote paired Txs are available). Once found, the Rx can deploy both frequencies for any paired transmitters
(up to 2).
Channel Scan Options
When performing any frequency scans, the audio transmission is interrupted. Powering on the receiver and holding
Plus (+) shortcuts the Rx to complete a clear channel scan of the frequency block it was last in. It will then display
optimum frequencies, with the lowest detected RF noise. Once chosen, press ‘Set’ to change the frequency of the
Rx (and of the Tx if a CrossRemote is set up).
