1-3. Installation Procedure
1. Turn off the power of the VTR.
2. Fully loosen the fixing screw, and then slide the two
knobs on the upper lid (front) assembly each to the
inside.
Move the knobs to the outside to fix the upper lid
(front) assembly.
3. Remove the upper lid (front) assembly in the arrow
direction.
4. Fully loosen the two fixing screws, and then remove
the upper lid (rear) assembly in the arrow direction.

5. Disconnect all coaxial cables from HIF and FC (TX)
boards. Leaving EQ and HPR boards, raise eject levers
and then pull out the other boards upward.
6. Remove the six screws to detach the blank panel from
the connector panel assembly.
Remove the ten screws to detach the connector panel
assembly.
7. Attach the network panel assembly of HKSR-5804 to
the connector panel assembly with the screws that
were used for the blank panel.
8. Pass the four coaxial cables of the network panel
assembly one by one through the chassis.

9. Connect the connection cord (with modular plugs) to the IF-1071 board on the network panel.
Insert the two connectors on the back of the connector panel assembly to the mother board, and fix
the connector panel assembly with ten screws.

Push the portions A of connector panel assembly, and connect it firmly to the connector of the mother
board.
Pass the connection cord (with modular plugs) through the two harness clamps and draw the other
end up.

10. Check the DIP switches on the MY-115 board are
correctly set as Section 1-2.
11. Insert the MY-115 board and the plug-in boards, that
were removed in the step 5, into their respective slots.
Perform in the following order.
1) Insert the MY-115 board.

Be sure not to catch the connection cord (with
modular plugs) in the connectors of MY/Mother
boards.
2) Connect the connection cord (with modular plugs)
to CN700 on the MY-115 board.
3) Connect four coaxial cables to the MY-115 board.
4) Insert the HIF-46 board, and connect 13 coaxial
cables.
5) Insert the DVP-43 board (HKSR-5802).
6) Insert the FC-91 board (HKSR-5001) and connect
four coaxial cables to TX-96 boards on the FC-91
board.
7) Insert the APR-81 board.
8) Insert the SS-102 board.
9) Press down the eject levers of respective boards, to
tightly connect the boards to the connectors on the
mother board.
