Introduction
Since the introduction of the Sony DSR-300/300P
DVCAM
TM
Digital Camcorder, there has been a
rapid increase in a new style of acquisition: one-
person operation by professionals such as video
journalists. The Sony RM-VJ1/VJ1P Remote
Control Unit is a new, exclusive accessory for the
DSR-300/300P, which connects directly to the
camcorder via a CCA-7-7A cable. This compact,
mobile and highly reliable remote controller with
a professional microphone and an LCD screen
greatly enhances operational convenience for
one-person operation.
Application
Attach the camcorder to
a tripod, and compose
the shot using the LCD
monitor. Then, report (or
perform an interview) by
yourself without the need
of a camera operator.
