El modelo BCS Smart también permite supervisar y controlar el proceso de carga, así como, opcionalmente,
tener acceso a estaciones de carga registradas mediante la aplicación gratuita BCS Finder para Android e iOS.

Advertencias de seguridad
El titular de la estación de carga para bicicletas eléctricas es responsable de que esta esté en
todo momento en perfecto estado y funcione de forma segura. Además, debe revisarla periódicamente
(véase el apartado dedicado al mantenimiento en el manual de montaje y funcionamiento de
las estaciones de carga para bicicletas eléctricas BCS).
El fabricante no se hace responsable de los daños derivados de un uso inadecuado, como p. ej.:
errores de montaje o conexión,
daños en el producto por influencias mecánicas y tensión de conexión incorrecta,
cambios en el producto sin autorización expresa del fabricante o
uso distinto del descrito en las instrucciones.
Indicaciones generales de seguridad
Advertencia
Peligro de muerte por electrocución
►No utilice la estación de carga si presenta daños visibles.
►Si el cable de conexión de la estación de carga está dañado, para evitar riesgos solicite
su sustitución al fabricante, a su servicio de atención al cliente o una persona con una
cualificación similar.
Riesgos para la salud
►No utilice la estación de carga cuando la temperatura exterior sea inferior a 0 °C o superior a 40 °C.
►En caso de incendio, no retire la tapa de la estación de carga. Utilice agentes extintores
aprobados para dispositivos electrónicos. No utilice agua para apagar el fuego.
►Este dispositivo puede ser utilizado por niños mayores de 8 años y personas con
capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales limitadas o sin experiencia ni conocimientos
previos siempre y cuando estén supervisados o hayan recibido instrucciones para el uso
seguro del dispositivo y comprendan los riesgos que entraña.
►No permita que los niños jueguen con el dispositivo.

►Los niños no deben realizar sin supervisión ni la limpieza y ni el mantenimiento reservado
al usuario.
►No deje nunca el vehículo desatendido durante el proceso de carga.

Riesgos para la salud
El manejo inadecuado de baterías entraña riesgo de incendio, de explosión y de corrosión.
►Lea y observe las instrucciones y las advertencias de seguridad recogidas en el manual
de instrucciones de funcionamiento del fabricante de su vehículo eléctrico ligero, del
fabricante de la batería, de la unidad de transmisión y del ordenador de a bordo.
Uso previsto
Dependiendo de cada modelo, las estaciones de carga para bicicletas eléctricas son adecuadas para la carga
directa de vehículos eléctricos ligeros (p. ej. bicicletas eléctricas, patinetes eléctricos, pedelecs) que utilizan las
siguientes baterías:
Bosch Active Line, Active Line Plus, Cargo Line, Performance Line, Performance Line CX
Shimano BT-E6000, BT-E6001, BT-E6010, BT-E8010, BT-E8020
No podemos garantizarle que esta enumeración sea completa. Tenga en cuenta la información
proporcionada por el fabricante de su vehículo eléctrico ligero.
También es posible cargar baterías de otros fabricantes si el cargador externo en cuestión se conecta a una
de las tomas de corriente de 230 V. La corriente de carga máxima en las tomas de 230 V es de 2,5 A.

Advertencia
Riesgo de quemaduras por batería caliente
La batería de su vehículo eléctrico ligero se calienta durante la carga.
►Procure que no se supere la temperatura máxima de la batería (consulte el manual del
fabricante de la batería).
Atención
Riesgo de daños
La estación de carga y la batería pueden sufrir daños si se utilizan de forma inadecuada.
►Compare la tensión indicada en la placa de identificación de la batería con el
correspondiente suministro de energía en la estación de carga.
►No tire nunca del cable para sacar el enchufe de la toma de corriente.
►Asegúrese de que los cables no estén sometidos a presión o tensión.

Atención

Existe riesgo de que se produzca un cortocircuito si hay humedad o cables y enchufes dañados.
►Antes de usar la estación de carga, asegúrese de que el cable, el enchufe y el conector de
carga estén limpios y secos.
►No manipule nunca enchufes ni interruptores con las manos mojadas o si sus pies están en
contacto con humedad.

►Conecte el correspondiente cable a la batería del vehículo eléctrico ligero (Figure 2).

9Tan pronto como finaliza el proceso de carga, el LED del punto de carga permanece iluminado en verde
de forma fija.
►Desconecte el cable de la batería del vehículo.
►Enrolle el cable tres o cuatro veces y cuelgue el enchufe en su alojamiento.
Conexión de un cargador externo

►Antes de usar la estación de carga, asegúrese de que el cable, el enchufe y el conector de
carga estén limpios y secos.
►No manipule nunca enchufes con las manos mojadas o si sus pies están en contacto con humedad.
►Al conectar el enchufe, asegúrese de que el cable de conexión no esté pellizcado o dañado.
►No coloque nunca el cargador externo sobre una superficie húmeda.
►No deje nunca el cargador externo colgando de la estación por el cable.
►Observe las indicaciones del fabricante del cargador externo.

El cargador externo de su vehículo eléctrico ligero se calienta durante la carga.
►Procure que no se supere la temperatura máxima del cargador externo

►No coloque nunca el cargador sobre una superficie inflamable o cerca de objetos
fácilmente inflamables.
►No vuelva a tocar el cargador externo hasta que se haya enfriado lo suficiente.
Atención
La longitud total de los cables entre la estación de carga y el conector de la bicicleta debe ser
inferior a 3 m.
►No utilice alargadores ni regletas.
►Compruebe la longitud de los cables del cargador externo.
Nota
Las tomas de corriente de 230 V de la estación de carga están diseñadas para 2,5 A.
Si se conecta un consumidor más potente, la estación de carga desconecta el punto de carga.
►Conecte el cargador doméstico a las tomas de seguridad de esta estación de carga de acuerdo con las
instrucciones del fabricante.
9El LED del punto de carga parpadea en verde.
9Tan pronto como finaliza el proceso de carga, el LED del punto de carga de la estación permanece
iluminado en verde de forma fija.
►Desconecte el cable de la batería del vehículo.
►Desconecte el cable de la toma de corriente.
Resolución de problemas

Before operation, carefully read through these instructions and keep them in a safe place.
Hand over to the user if the product is sold. It is available in the download area at www.spelsberg.de.
The new BCS Smart variant also allows monitored and controlled charging as well as optional navigation to
registered charging stations via the free BCS Finder app for Android & iOS.

Safety instructions
The owner is responsible for the correct and safe state of the E-Bike charging station at all times,
and must check the E-Bike charging station at regular intervals (see maintenance in the assembly / operating
instructions of the E-Bike charging stations BCS).
The manufacturer is not liable for damage that result from incorrect use, e.g.:
Assembly and connecting errors
Damage to the product caused by mechanical influences and incorrect supply voltage
Modifications to the product without the explicit approval of the manufacturer
Use for other purposes other than those described in the instructions
General safety
Warning
Danger to life due to electric shock
►If the charging station has visible damage, do not use.
►If the connecting cable of this charging station are damaged, have it replaced by the
manufacturer, their customer services or a person with similar qualifications.
Health hazard
►Do not use the charging station if outside temperatures below 0 °C or above +40 °C.
►In case of fire, do not remove the cover of the E-Bike charging station. Use extinguishing
agent only approved for electronic devices. Do not use water for extinguishing.
►This device can be used by children from 8 years of age and persons or mental capabilities
or with lack of experience and knowledge unless they are supervised or have received
instructions on the safe use of the device and are aware of the resulting hazards.
►Children must not play with the device.
►Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
►Do not leave your vehicle unsupervised when charging.

Safety when handling rechargeable batteries
Warning
Health hazard
When handling rechargeable batteries incorrectly, there is a risk of fire, explosion and a caustic
hazard!
►Read and observe the instructions and safety instructions in the operating instructions of
your LEV manufacturer, the manufacturer of the rechargeable batteries, the drive unit and
on-board computer.
Intended Use
Depending on the version, E-bike charging stations are suitable for direct charging of LEVs (Light Electric
Vehicle, e.g. E-Bikes, E-Scooter, Pedelecs) with the following rechargeable batteries:
Bosch Active Line, Active Line Plus, Cargo Line, Performance Line, Performance Line CX
Shimano BT-E6000, BT-E6001, BT-E6010, BT-E8010, BT-E8020
Moreover, LEV rechargeable batteries of other manufacturers can also be charged if the respective external
charger is connected to a 230 V socket. The maximum charging current at the 230 V socket is 2.5 A.

Operation
Warning
Risk of burns from overheated rechargeable battery
During charging, the rechargeable battery of your LEV heats up
►Make sure that the maximum temperature of the rechargeable battery is not exceeded (see
manual of the rechargeable battery manufacturer).
Attention
Risk of damage
The charging station and the rechargeable battery can be damaged by incorrect operation.
►Compare the voltage output on the rating plate of the rechargeable battery with the
respective power supply on the charging station.
►Never pull the plug out of the socket on the connecting cable.
►Ensure that the cable cannot be loaded by pressing or pulling.
Connecting the rechargeable battery directly
Attention
Risk of damage from electric shock
The is a risk of a short-circuit caused by moisture or if the cable and plug are damaged.
►Before use, make sure that the supply line, plug and connection socket is clean and dry.
►Never use the plugs and switches if you have wet hands or your feet are standing in water.

►Connect the respective cable to the LEV rechargeable battery (Figure 2).
9The LED on the charging station flashes green.
9As soon as the charging process has finished, the LED at the charging point illuminates green constantly.
►Disconnect the cable from the LEV rechargeable battery.
►Wind up the cable three to four times and hang the plug in the holder.

Connecting an external charger
Warning
Danger to life due to electric shock
The is a risk of an electric shock caused by moisture or if the cable and plug are damaged.
►Before use, make sure that the supply line, plug and connection socket is clean and dry.
►Never use the connectors if you have wet hands or your feet are standing in water.
►When connecting the plug, ensure that the connecting cable is not trapped damaged.
►Never put an external charger on a moist surface.
►Never allow the external charger to hang freely from the station or the cable.
►Observe the manufacturer's instructions of the external charger.
Caution
Risk of burns from the heated external charger.
During charging, the external charger of your LEV heats up
►Make sure that the maximum temperature of the external charger is not exceeded (see
manual of the rechargeable battery manufacturer).
►Never place the charger on a flammable surface or in the vicinity of highly flammable
objects.
►Touch the external charger only after it has cooled down sufficiently.
Attention
The total length of the cable between the charging station and the socket on the bicycle must
be less than 3 m.
►Do not use an extension cable with multiple sockets.
►Check the length of the cable on the external charger.
Note
The 230 V sockets of the charging station are designed for 2.5 A. If a stronger consumer is
connected, the charging station switches off the charging point.
►Connect the home charger to the safe sockets of this charging station according to the manufacturer´s
specifications.
9The LED at the charging point flashes green.
9As soon as the charging process has finished, the LED at the charging point of the charging station
illuminates green constantly.
►Disconnect the cable from the LEV rechargeable battery.
►Disconnect the cable from the socket.
Troubleshooting
►In case of a fault, remove the charging connector from the charging station immediately.
►Inform the operating company of the charging station about the fault.
