Sicherheitshinweise
In dieser Produktinformation sind die wichtigsten Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zusammengefasst.
Sie ergänzt die entsprechenden Vorschriften, zu deren Studium das verantwortliche Personal
verpflichtet ist.
Bei Arbeiten in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen hängt die Sicherheit von Personen und
Anlagen von der Einhaltung aller relevanten Sicherheitsvorschriften ab. Das Montage- und
Wartungspersonal trägt deshalb eine besondere Verantwortung. Die Voraussetzung dafür ist
die genaue Kenntnis der geltenden Vorschriften und Bestimmungen.
Bei Errichtung und Betrieb ist Folgendes zu beachten:
Es gelten die national gültigen Montage- und Errichtungsvorschriften (z.B. EN 60079-14).
Die Sicherheitsbarrieren sind „zugehörige Betriebsmittel“ zur Installation im sicheren
Bereich, in der Zone 2 oder Zone 22
Bei Installation in Zone 2 muss ein Gehäuse das den Anforderungen der EN 60079-15
genügt verwendet werden.
Bei Installation in Zone 2 darf die Vorsicherung nicht unter Spannung ausgetauscht werden.
Bei Installation in Zone 22 muss ein Gehäuse das den Anforderungen der EN 61241 genügt
verwendet werden.
An die eigensicheren Anschlüsse dürfen eigensichere Stromkreise der Zone 0 oder Zone 20
(nur 9001, 9002) und Zone 1 oder Zone 21 angeschlossen werden.
Für einen sicheren Betrieb müssen Sicherheitsbarrieren an den PA angeschlossen werden
(über PA-Klemme oder Hutschiene). Durch die Verwendung der Sicherheitsbarriere ist der
angeschlossene Stromkreis als einseitig geerdet anzusehen.
Für den Anschluss eigensicherer Stromkreise der Zone 0 (nur 9001, 9002) sind
insbesondere die Anforderungen der EN 60 079-14 Abschnitt 12.3 zu beachten.
Wegen der besonderen Anforderungen der Zone 0 wird empfohlen, Sicherheitsbarrieren
über die PA-Klemme mit dem Potentialausgleich zu verbinden.
Die Sicherheitsbarrieren dürfen nur an Geräte angeschlossen werden, in denen keine
höheren Spannungen als AC 253 V auftreten können.
Die sicherheitstechnischen Werte der angeschlossenen Feldgeräte müssen mit den
Angaben des Datenblattes bzw. der EG-Baumusterprüfbescheinigung übereinstimmen.
Bei Zusammenschaltungen mehrerer aktiver Betriebsmittel in einem eigensicheren
Stromkreis können sich andere sicherheitstechnische Werte ergeben. Hierbei kann die
Eigensicherheit gefährdet werden!
Bei Sicherheitsbarriere 9002/22-032-300-111 ist der Anschluss einer eigensicheren RS485
Schnittstelle nur für Punkt zu Punkt Verbindungen zulässig. Ein Anschluss an ein
eigensicheres Feldbussystem RS485-IS ist nicht zulässig.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät bestimmungsgemäß, nur für den zugelassenen Einsatzzweck.
Fehlerhafter oder unzulässiger Einsatz sowie das Nichtbeachten der Hinweise dieser
Betriebsanleitung schließen eine Gewährleistung unsererseits aus.
Umbauten und Veränderungen am Gerät, die den Explosionsschutz beeinträchtigen, sind nicht
gestattet.
Das Gerät darf nur in unbeschädigtem, trockenem und sauberem Zustand eingebaut und
betrieben werden

Reparatur und Instandhaltung
Es wird empfohlen, Reparaturen ausschließlich durch R. STAHL durchführen zu lassen.
In Ausnahmefällen kann die Reparatur auch durch eine andere, zugelassene Stelle erfolgen.
Die Sicherheitsbarrieren sind wartungsfrei.
Bei Betrieb an zu hoher Spannung oder Anschluss mit falscher Polarität löst die
auswechselbare Vorsicherung aus und schützt die interne Schaltung.

- Safety Barriers
Safety notice
This product information covers all the necessary safety precautions. It is a supplement to the
corresponding regulations of which all responsible staff must carefully read through and abide
by.
The security of staff and systems employed in explosion risk areas depends on the observation
of all the necessary safety regulations. The assembly and maintenance staff carry a great deal
of the responsibility. It is therefore of great importance that the approved rules and regulations
are exactly understood and followed.
During assembly and operation the following should be observed:
The domestic regulations for assembly and installation regulations (i.e. EN 60079-14)
The safety barriers are “associated apparatus“ to be installed in safe areas, Zone 2 or Zone
22 areas.
If installed in Zone 2, an enclosure that meets the requirements of EN 60079-15 has to be
used
If installed in Zone 2 it is not permitted to exchange the fuse live. (under load)
If installed in Zone 22, an enclosure that meets the requirements of EN 61241 has to be
used
Intrinsically safe circuits of Zone 0 or Zone 20 (only 9001, 9002) and Zone 1 or Zone 21 are
allowed to be connected to the intrinsically safe connections.
For a safe operation the safety barriers must be connected to PE (via PE-clamp or DIN rail).
The I.S. circuit needs to be considered as grounded at one point.
The EN 60 079-14 part 12.3 regulations are to be especially observed for the connection of
the Zone 0 (only 9001, 9002) intrinsically safe circuit.
Due to the special requirements of Zone 0 it is recommended to connect safety barriers via
PE-clamp with the potential equalisation.
The safety barriers are only allowed to be connected to appliances where no voltage higher
than AC 253 V can occur.
The technical safety values of the connected field devices have to meet the specifications of
the data sheets or the EC-Type Examination Certificate.
The interconnecting of a number of active resources into one intrinsic circuit can result in
different technical safety values. This can be dangerous for the intrinsic safety!
If applied for RS485-IS the safety barrier type 9002/22-032-300-111 may only be used for
point-to-point connections. The connection to RS485-IS fieldbus systems is not permitted.

Repair and maintenance
It is recommended to have any repair work completed only by R. STAHL.
In cases of exception the repair work can be completed by another approved location.
The safety barriers are maintenance free.
If the voltage is too high when operated or the connection is wrongly polarised this will trigger of
the exchangeable fuse and protect the internal circuit.

Cette notice décrit toutes les précautions de sécurité nécessaires. C’est un complément aux
réglementations en vigueur que tout intervenant doit connaître et respecter.
La sécurité des personnels et des installations en zones dangereuses dépendent du respect de
toutes les réglementations de sécurité. Le personnel de montage et de maintenance supporte
donc une responsabilité importante. Il est donc très important que les normes et
réglementations soient exactement interprétées et suivies.
Pendant l’installation et le fonctionnement, il est nécessaire de respecter les points
suivants :
La réglementation nationale d’installation (par ex. EN 60079-14)
Les barrières de sécurité sont des “appareils associés” à installer en zone sûre ou zone 2 ou
zone 22.
Les instructions suivantes doivent être respectées lors d’installation en zone 2 : Coffrets de
EN 60079-15
Les instructions suivantes doivent être respectées lors d’installation en zone 22: Coffrets de
EN 61241
Les circuits de sécurité intrinsèques destines à la zone 0 ou 20 (barrières 9001 et 9002
uniquement) et à la zone 1 ou 21 se raccordent aux connexions de sécurité intrinsèque.
Pour un fonctionnement sûr, la barrière de sécurité doit être connectée au PE (par borne PE
ou rail DIN). En utilisant la barrière de sécurité est le circuit connecté à être considérée
comme asymétrique.
La norme EN 60 079-14 part 12.3 doit être particulièrement appliquée pour le raccordement

est recommandé de connecter les barrières de sécurité par la borne PE avec égalisation de
potentiel.
Les barrières de sécurité ne sont autorisées à être raccordées que dans les cas où aucune
tension plus importante que 253 V ne peut survenir.
Les valeurs de sécurité des instruments raccordés doivent être compatibles avec celles des
barrières de sécurité (voir certificat de conformité)
Les raccordement de plusieurs sources actives sur un seul circuit de sécurité intrinsèque
peut modifier la sécurité de l’ensemble. Cela peut se révéler dangereux pour la sécurité !
Par mesure de sécurité barrière 9002/22-032-300-111 est la connexion d'une interface
RS485 intrinsèquement sûre pour connexions point à point autorisés. Une connexion à un
bus de terrain à sécurité intrinsèque RS485-IS n'est pas autorisée.

Réparation et maintenance
Il est recommandé que toute réparation ne soit réalisée que par R.STAHL.
De façon exceptionnelle, la réparation peut être effectuée chez un réparateur agréé.
Les barrières de sécurité sont sans maintenance.
Si la tension de service est trop importante ou que le branchement est mal polarisé, le fusible
interchangeable déclenche pour protéger le circuit interne. Ce fusible prohibé échangé en
fonctionnement en zone 2.
