hier beschriebenen Darstellungen abweichen.
5 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Ethernet-Klemme der Baureihe 8187 ist eine explosionsgeschützte Ex-Komponente
zur Verbindung von Ethernet- oder Datenbus-Leitungen (z. B. Twisted-Pair-Leitungen, 
4 Paare Litzen) in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen der Zonen 1 und 2. Die Ethernet-
Klemme 8187 muss in ein Gehäuse der Zündschutzart Erhöhte Sicherheit „e“ nach 
IEC/EN 60079-7oder Schutz durch Gehäuse „tb“ nach IEC/EN 60079-31 eingebaut 
werden.

Die Geräte sind trocken und erschütterungsfrei zu lagern.

Montage
XZur Montage den Platinenträger auf eine 35 mm Tragschiene aufschnappen.
XZur Demontage den Schnappriegel mit einem Schraubendreher gemäß Abbildung
aufhebeln.

Die Ethernet-Klemme ist ausschließlich für den Einbau in Gehäuse der 
Zündschutzart erhöhte Sicherheit „e“ und „tb“ geeignet.

Die Geräte sind nur für den Betrieb innerhalb der auf dem Typenschild 
ausgewiesenen technischen Daten zugelassen.

Anschluss des Ethernetkabels
XEthernetkabel gemäß Abbildung abmanteln.
XDer Schirm muss 20 - 25 mm aus dem mantel herausragen. Den Schirm entsprechend
kürzen.
XDie Aderpaare soweit wie möglich verdrillt lassen.
XDie Adern auf möglichst kurzem Weg in die Klemmen einführen, um Signalverluste
und Störsignale weitgehend zu vermeiden.
XDie Aderenden gemäß Abbildung abisolieren und in die jeweilige Klemme einführen.
XDas Kabel muss für den Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen geeignet sein.
Klemmenbelegung
XKlemmennummern sind auf der Trägerplatine aufgedruckt.
XJede Klemme ist zur jeweils gegenüberliegenden Klemme durchverbunden.
XDa die Aderpaare der Ethernetkabel überlichweise nicht aufsteigend nummeriert sind,
wurde die Bezeichnung der Klemmen so gewählt, dass die Adern jeweils paarweise
an einem zweipoligen Klemmblock angeschlossen werden können.

Xalle lösbaren Verbindungen fest angezogen sind
Xdie vorgeschriebenen Anzugsdrehmomente eingehalten sind
10 Instandhaltung, Wartung und Störbeseitigung
Überprüfen Sie bei der Wartung folgende Punkte:
Einhaltung der zulässigen Temperaturen (gemäß IEC/EN 60079)
Beschädigungen oder Verfärbungen der Platine oder der aufgelöteten Klemmen
Fester Sitz der Leiter in den Klemmen

5 Intended use
The Ethernet terminal of Series 8187 is an explosion-protected Ex component for 
connection of Ethernet or data bus lines (e.g. twisted-pair lines, 4-pair stranded wires) 
in explosion-protected areas of Zones 1 and 2. The Ethernet terminal 8187 must be 
installed in an enclosure with type of protection increased safety "e" according to 
IEC/EN 60079-7or "tb" according to IEC/EN 60079-31.

8.2 Installation conditions
Assembly
XFor mounting snap on the board holder onto a 35 mm mounting rail.
XFor dismounting lever up the latch using a screwdriver as shown in figure.

Connection of the Ethernet cable
XStrip the Ethernet cable as shown in figure.
XThe shield must protrude from the sheath for 20-25 mm. Shorten the shield 
correspondingly.
XThe pairs of cores must remain twisted as far as possible.
XInsert the cores along the shortest possible route into the terminals in order to avoid
signal losses and interferences.
XStrip the core ends according to the figure and insert them into the corresponding 
terminal.
XThe cable must be suitable for use in hazardous areas.
Terminal assignment
XTerminal numbers are printed on the carrier board.
XEvery terminal is connected to the opposite terminal correspondingly.
XSince the core pairs of the Ethernet cable are normally not numbered in the ascending
order, the designation of the terminals is selected in such a way that the cores are con-
nected in pairs to a two-pole terminal block.
WARNING
Install devices in an enclosure!
The Ethernet terminal is only suitable for installation in enclosures with type
of protection Increased safety "e" and "tb".
Observe information on the type plate!
The devices are only approved for operation under conditions specified in the
technical data on the type plate.

Before commissioning, ensure that:

Xthe device has been installed according to regulations
Xall detachable connections have been tightened firmly
Xthe prescribed tightening torques have been observed

Tight seat of the conductors in the terminals
